Because it's happened already since the news broke, let me repost in a new thread our policy on w/other and yes this means JFK. To review and summarize no you can't advocate it in any way... read carefully below. There are plenty of Willow and the new girl lists out there, a search on yahoo should yield results.



Also you cannot bash JFK or the actress that portrays her. Not liking the new relationship and bashing can be fine lines for some but we will be monitoring that.



We we do not allow any speculation or advocating of Willow with anyone else. To avoid any and all confusion:



Do not speculate on why you think a w/other relationship would be ok. Do not explain the set of circumstances that would make this relationship ok. Example : "I didn't mind JFK, if Tara had never existed..." NONE of that



Do not speculate about any possible future relationship for Willow.

If anyone wants to say: "I find the idea between W/whoever *insert any negative description that is not too rude* " then that is ok, but there is absolutely no need to explain why a new relationship with such and such a person would or would not work, or that it might be interesting except...etc.



There is one reason why any future relationship for Willow won't ever work:



Tara



If anyone is not totally opposed to the idea of Willow and a new relationship then that is their right, but do not share that opinion on this board. Not ever.

On this board Willow and Tara belong together forever, no matter what ME shows us on TV. They are soulmates and that is not something you just get over. This may seem rigid to some, but this is the very core of our board and it will not change. It is written all over our board for anyone to see. You do not have to agree, but if you wish to post here you will have to accept it.

I think that' dead on Xita, it's a fine line but it is there. If someone feels the need to comment abut JFK's personality, height, weight, voice, or looks maybe they should do it elsewhere because that treads on the kind of remarks that certain people made when Tara first appeared.

The person who has hurt us so much and robbed us isn't JFK or the actress who plays her, its Joss Whedon on his ME lackeys, and I for one am breathless with anticipation for the cancellation of his remaining shows.

I think the second (NO bashing of K and actress) should be emphasized, especially in light of what happened to Tara and Amber. We should be very careful (private forum or not) never to do something like that - something we despised and felt outraged by when it was done to Amber - to another actor.

I hate the idea of Willow and other but pretty soon it will become fact. I have seen some spoilers for future epsiodes and by all things Willow and JFK will have something going on by episode 14. That's only 3 away and those 3 will build up to it all as well.



Anyway I was wondering what will happen then as it will be pretty hard NOT to discuss Willow/other when we are talking about Willow and that is all we should be discussing on this board. Unless we all just type 'My Aly looked good tonight.'



I also STRONGLY recommend that if you don't want to be further angered or upset you should be warned that things are about to get REALLY nasty and hateful to watch if you are a kitten...not that they are a picnic at the moment anyway. Although they might seem like it by episode 14 or so.



Is there a way we can stop putting ourselves through the unnecessary pain of discussing NotWillow and season 7? I really wish I didn't know what I know about furture episodes and I think that future events will anger and more importantly hurt quiet a few of us. I think that even discussing future events goes against the forum rules.



What do people (especially Xita) think?

My recommendation is for everyone that even gets upset at just the news to get taken off the season 7 board. I would love to do that for myself but it's just not possible right now. We will do everything to keep the show off the rest of the kitten because we don't want that tainting things there. Once someone is removed from season 7 you won't even see the forum name, it's like it doesn't exist.



Things are gonna ge tough. It's not that it's off topic, so much as bashing and advocating are not ok. So we walk a fine line of disagreeing with it. Most of the reason I created this was for people who for whatever reason still felt compelled to watch. They can come here and bitch about the show. With this new revelation, I think many will need to voice their discontent and this will still be the place to say it without being told to just "get over it."



If we can't be cordial and not insult the actress in particular, the character in general, then we don't deserve to have this board. And then we can reassess.

Will Kittens be discussing the Willow & JFK relationship in the upcoming show threads as it relates to their screen time / story arc together?



I think I understand there will be no bashing or advocating such as "Oh, I love them and they are so cute together" or "what a hot kiss that was," etc.



I'm sorry ahead of time for bringing this very squicky thing up more specifically I guess, I just need to know straight out.

I think it's pretty straightforward, actually. JFK is not a topic of discussion, suffice to say it's unlikeable. That all seems fairly simple to me.

question, could i start a thread to reference JASD post in the Diva thread, specifically the First Evil/Tara script, I have sum things to say about that script, like for instance a house dropping on a certain ME writer, or a bucket of water being thrown resulting in melting, is that okay?

I just wanted to formally apologize because I did once slip by speculating about A JFK before Tara, although they would never work. K is way too pushy and parroty.

The thing is, JFK could be the greatest woman to ever walk the face of the earth, Willow and Tara not included, but it still would not work. Willow and Tara are forever and you do not get over that in less than a year or an eternity. There is nothing to speculate about, not on this board, that is the whole point. Willow and Tara will aways be safe here, which does not mean we close our eyes to the consequences of that show's reality, obviously we haven't, but this was, is and always will be a Willow and Tara shipper board, which always did, does and will include discussion topics other than WT, but one topic will never be welcome here, and that 'what if Willow/someone else' or 'what if Tara/someone else'. There are no 'what ifs' 'ands' or 'buts', though there are plenty of butts, but that is another matter altogether.
