Spoilers: Well none unless you don't know that Tara and Willow are a couple d'uh. Takes place after Who Are You and New Moon Rising doesn't happen ergo Willlow never told Buffy but Willow and Tara are all couple-y

Summary: Well, the story has kinda changed not to sure what this should say now.

Disclaimers: Joss, ME anyone else who owns them, no matter how hard i try to convince myself, i don't own them. And yes i'm ripping off the dialogue

Rating: Haven't a clue, it chnages all the time. Nothing major...some kissage thats about it, oh and some occasional violence.



                        **********

Outside Nicoles Lair.



Two minions stand guard outside the room in which Tara and Nicole are. We pan round to reveal the Scoobies stood behind a wall, out of their view and earshot.



B: Okay, we got two scabby minion guys and probably some more inside.

R: Maybe it's the military in me speaking, but we can't just burst in without knowing whats on the other side it could be suicide.

B: We've done it before...never really one to think about the possible consequences. I'm more action-Buffy.

R: Fair enough, I'm not exactly sit'n'watch- Riley, but I like to know what I'm up against.



From off screen we hear a familiar voice.



S: Sit'n'watch Riley ay? Like a little G.I Joe action figure? Suits you.



And in saunters ( the ever-irritating ) Spike. He leans casually against the wall eyeing all the Scoobies, taking especially long over Buffy.



B: (Angry) Spike? What the hell are you doing here?

S: What a fella can't just be in the area?

G: Did you want something Spike? Money? Blood? To get your ass-kicked perhaps?

S: This coming from a washed-up watcher like yourself. No my dear Ripper, I just get a kick out of...well kicking things. 'Sides I figured going up against that demon-chick, who just happens to have Red's girl, you need all the help you can get and if some money comes out of it...

W: How did you find out?

S: News travels fast with us demons. We all like a good laugh.

B: Fine, whatever Spike, we really don't have time for you and your un-funny remarks. (Turning to everyone else) Okay, well any ideas? It's not like I can walk in an ask how many guys Nicole has wandering around.

W: (Getting an idea) No, but I bet Tara would know. I mean she's been here for a while she probably noticed any other minions. She's good like that, always noticing the little things like...

B: (Interrupting) Willow as sweet as this probaly would be to listen to...

W: Right sorry. I could do a spell, it's kinda advanced but Tara and I have been um...practising it lately.

X: (Leering) Practising spells huh, Will?

S: I'll bet.

B: Xander, Spike shut up!What's the spell?

W: Well it's like telepathy, talk-to-her-through-my-mind type deal.

G: That's a remarkably high-level spell for your current ability.

W: I know, it's so weird we tried it the first time and didn't expect it to work. But it was like Bham! Instant.

G: The only way it could work would be for the two casters to be connected spiritually, a very deep bond...it's quite remarkable.

W: (Grinning) Oh yea...(Blushing) I mean, er...hehe...I'm gonna just do the spell.



Willow sits down with her legs crossed and her back leant against the wall.



W: Okay I need complete silence guys.



Willow sits still for a few moments her eyes closed. We can read the concentration on her face. It's a tense moment...



A: Is it working yet?

W: (Opening her eyes) Anya!

A: Oh sorry. That silence thing. Right.



Again Willow begins the spell. The Scoobies are in a protective circle around her waiting for any danger that could arise.



W: Tara, baby? Can you hear me?



We now cut to Nicoles lair. To see a shocked Tara, trying to look as though she isn't hearing voices in her head.



T: Willow?



Tara looks at Nicole who is now facing the other way, looking through her CD collection.



W: Hey baby, are you okay?

T: I'm fine, are you?

W: Once I get you out of there I'll be a lot happier

T: Me to

W: The whole gang's outside we came as fast as we could. Is Nicole in there? How many minions does she have?

T: It's just Nicole in here, and she only has two minions that I've seen

W: Great, we'll be right in. Why do I feel like I should make some sort of pun about a prince resuing the damsel in distress?

T: Well, in this case it would be the princess

W: I love you

T: I love you to Willow



And the spell ends. Willow opens her eyes to a face full of Scoobies looking at her. Slowly she gets up still leaning against the wall.



B: Well? Is she okay?

X: Is Nicole in there?

R: How many minions?

W: (Turning to each of the Scoobies) Yes, yes and two.

B: This is what we're gonna do. Crossbow people, I hope your aims good. I want you to take out those two guards. Quickly and quietly.

A: Yay, it's my time to shine.



Xander and Anya peer around the wall together.



X: Can we get a distraction?

W: Sure wait a minute.



Willow chants in some ancient language, and a thin cloud of fog falls between the Scoobies and the minions. Xander and Anya quickly leap out and aim the crossbows. Anya hits hers dead centre in the heart and then proceeds to do a victory dance. Whilst Xander manages to hit the others leg.



X: Whoops

A: (Stopping her dancing) Smooth.



Xander reloads whilst the guy leaps around in pain yelling various cursewords.



B: Xander we were going for a quiet approach!

X: It's the damn trigger thing.



Finally he manages to reload it and actually hit the guy in the chest killing him.



B: Great now it's just Nicole. Whats the phrase out of the frying pan and into the oven?

G: (Laughing) Thats's 'Out of the frying pan and into the fire'.

B: (Grumbling) Close enough. Come on guys.



                                **********

Nicoles Lair



Nicole is stood by the door and appears to be listening to something. Tara is still sat on the bed, with her hands and feet tied.



N: I would have thought your friends, being the experts they are, could rescue someone quietly.

T: Your n-not worried the might, say, kill you?

N: (Relaxed) I'm really not.

T: (A little worried about Nicoles confidence) W-w-w-why?

N: (Mimicing) W-w-w-well, (Laughs) I'm a demon, we don't scare so easily. Besides I think I can handle one little girl...



Tara looks upset, and opens her mouth to reply when in burst everybody even Spike looking ready to attack. Nicole turns around surprised to see more than just the slayer.



N: The slayer has freinds who fight for her?

B: Friends that fight *with* me. Trust me when I say I can kick your ass all by myself.



Buffy launches herself at Nicole who is instantly knocked down. Willow quickly runs to Tara and unties her pulling her out of the way of Buffy and Nicole's fight.



A: Yay, Buffy way to kick ass!



The fight stops and everyone looks at Anya.



A: What? I was being supportive.



The gang, including Nicole, swap 'looks' before Buffy goes back to beating on Nicole. Just as Buffy is about to deliver a skull-crushing blow a large flash of white light blinds everyone sending them all stumbling backwards. In the room now stands a human looking man except his eyes are a dark black.



N: Rack!

Corridor outside Nicole's Lair



Cole is stood in the same spot the Scoobies were earlier.



C: Where is he?



As if on cue Lars appears behind Cole.



L: Sir, everything is as you said. Nicole has engaged in battle with the slayer and her friends.

C: Excellent.

L: However...

C: (Angry) However, what?

L: There appears to be another person in the room.

J: I friend of the slayers?

L No, he...well, he sort of...materialised.

C: (Thinks for a moment) A warlock most likely.

J: Sounds like it.

L So how do we proceed?

C: Follow me.



With that the three robed men disappear around the corner heading towards Nicoles Lair.



                        *********

Nicole's Lair.



Everyone is still stood in the same place. The scoobies on one side of the room near the door and Nicole with Rack facing them.



R: It is time.

N: Well, I have the girl

R: And some others I see.

B: (Sarcasticly) Oh, I'm sorry was this a private kidnapping?



Rack steps forward to approach Buffy.



R: Who are you?

B: I'm Buffy...the vampire slayer?

R: The slayer. (Points to the group) And you people are?

W: We're the scoobies.

N: (To Rack) Like the cartoon. You know, the dog?

X: Hey!



Rack and Nicole throw Xander warning looks.



X: Never mind.

B: (To Rack) So, not to be clueless, but what are you doing here?

R: Collecting a debt.

A: Nicole owes you money? You know money is...

X: An, honey know isn't quite the time for money-talk.

A: But I like money-talk.

B: Guys?!

A: Sorry

X: We'll be good.



Rack steps forward slightly and begins to approach Tara.



N: A long time ago I made a deal wth Rack.

T: To become a demon.

B: You wanted to be a demon?

N: I was very ill.

A: You're explaining it badly and there are confusing interuptions. Start again.

B: (Ignoring Anya) Yea, I've heard the 'I-was-dying' excuse before. Doesn't cut it.

N: (Snapping) Yes it does! And now I'm gonna give your little friend here to repay the magickal debt. So shut up and watch her die.

B: So not gonna happen.



With this Buffy springs into slayer action, attacking Nicole. They begin to fight. Riley manages to get a few punches in on Rack before he is thrown back by a magick force, he lands hard against the wall and is knocked unconcious. Xander attempts to fire a crossbow but misses spectacularly and is also thrown back with Riley.



W: Urm...a little help?



Buffy and Nicole are now fighting close to the door. Suddenly the three robed men jump in. One hits Nicole with a hard punch and the her two grab Buffy.



W: I guess Buff's a little busy herself.



Squirming Buffy frees herself and sends the two robed men flying. They land close the where Xander and Riley are lying.



R: Well this is interesting. But I have to be going.



Rack steps close to Tara knocking Giles and Anya away on the other side of the room.



R: I've been waiting a long time for this sweets.

T: You h-have?

R: Lets take a little tour.



With this he reaches to place his hand on Tara's chest.



S: (O.S) Not so fast mate.



And so Spike appears. Grabbing Racks shirt he lifts him into the air then with all his strength rams him into the closest wall. Hitting it full force Racks head bounces off the wall. Beofre the warlock can regain any sense Spike lands a jaw-breaking punch rendering him unconcious.



T: That was close.

S: Don't speak to soon love.



The last robed man lunges at Tara knocking her over. But before he can do anything more Spike kicks him swiftly in the head. Rack lands next to Lars and Jones, he looks at them then back at Spike and Tara.



R: Fair enough.



He grabs the two robed men then disappears.



S: Now that was fun...well til he ran away anyway.



Spike helps Tara up off the floor. And they watch as Buffy grapples with Nicole finally getting some leverage and breaking her neck.



B: Phew, I think we handled that quite well.

S: Yea only five scoobies got knocked unconcious. Must be a record for you people.

T: Willow!



Quickly Tara runs over to her girlfriend who is slowly coming-to, Buffy and Spike tend to the others.



T: Are you okay, baby?

W: (Groggy) All gemini's report to the rasberry hats.

T: (Smiling) Honey? Come back to me.

W: (Jerking awake) Tara?

T: I'm right here.

W: Are we safe?

T: Yep, Nicole and Rack are gone.

W: Good. So the battles gone and we kinda won...even though I was unconcious for most of it...

T: Yea...

W: Does this mean victory smoochies?

T: Vixen.



Smiling the two witches share a victory kiss, to involved in their own world to care that the scoobies and three intruders are only a few feet away.



A: Well look at that (Sees Xander looking) Not literally! (Hits Xander)

X: I wasn't

S: (Leering) I was.

B: Spike!

S: Geez, don't get your knickers in a knot Blondie.

G: If you're all quite finished...I'd like to find out who our mystery guests are.



Leaning down Giles pulls back the hoods of the three men to reveal their faces.



G: Dear Lord!

B: Dear Lord what?

G: This (Pointing to Cole) is the man a phoned my 'friend' Cole.

A: Why did you phone him if he's evil?

G: I didn't know he was. Obviously.

B: What do we do with them?

R: I can get the initative on it. Give them an anonomous call . They'll handle it.

G: Thank you Riley.

B: What about...



Buffy gestures to Willow and Tara who are still locked in a passionate kiss.



B: Should we...

S: Leave 'em.

B: Just because your getting off on it.

S: I am not. I'm just saying they've had a rough few days. (Off the looks) Fine. Bugger off.



And Spike abruply leaves muttering various insults. The rest of the Scoobies try to look anywhere but the couple lying on the floor...



B: Willow, Tara...Guys?

I absolutely enjoyed your fic. It's like a Shakespear play with all the comedy and the fighting. I love the dialogues. And definitely... i agree with everyone else here that ending it with major smoochies is the way to go out with a bang!
