Postby WillowWise » Thu Nov 25, 2004 5:02 am

Ok please be kind, I wrote this on four hours of sleep and I really just wanted to finish this chapter up because I had taken foooorrrrrever to actually get it done. Rated R for mature content.

Chapter Eight: Guiding Hands

Their body’s meshed together like the perfect fit of puzzle pieces, both making the picture complete, making Thomas Kinkade look like a finger painter. Wet clothed body’s snuggled close together on a plastic white lounge chair, lips meeting in the surrender of love. Was it love? Both girls knew they felt something, they knew it in their hearts and souls, but was this truly love or the mind wanting and playing games keeping secrets and smushing feelings in and around to confuse them?

"You’re the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. And I promise you it’s not just your physical. You’re so warm and caring and sweet. God Tara you have no idea just how sensual you are." Willow suddenly realizing what she just said looks down at the water and cursed herself mentally for being so forward. Maybe it was too soon, and then she felt it, Tara's finger under her chin. Then she was looking into a pair of loving eyes. Tara wasn’t turned off by her words. She was looking into smiling eyes,

Tara slowly licked her lips as she leaned into Willow’s space. "Y-you really mean that don’t you?" she asked softly. Willow could only nod as she felt the warmth from Tara's breath on her own. Ever so slowly their lips met, lightly at first, but both women became lost to a feeling so strong...

The kiss was intense, their mouths were on fire, wanting and craving one another, passion had taken over and brain function was a distant thing of the past at this moment. They were the only ones in the world that were alive at that point. Tara leaned Willow back as the kiss broke from passionate to searing. Becoming a swirl of many different emotions. Tara continued to pursue this woman through her lips, pressing harder and keeping the space between them to centimeters. The blonde’s tongue slid from between her own mouth and licked the bottom lip of her fire-y lip goddess asking for permission into this unexplored territory. Acceptance was more than given. Willow’s tongue awaited Tara’s in an explosive combat. The kiss lasted for what seemed like hours but only mere minuets before the red heads brain finally kicked back into control.

Willow leaned back, she was afraid to do very much with this girl, it had only been a few hours since they had even met, was this too soon to do anything.

Tara felt the hesitations build in the woman that was before her, the girl that she was falling for rapidly. She sighed and looked at her with care, she studied what could be going on in that head of hers wondering if this was one of the moments that Faith and Buffy had been talking about. Was she in a nervous babble? Who was winning? Was there even someone to win?

"Are you ok?" finally the silence broke.

Willow looked into her eyes. "I. I haven’t felt like this before with a person and are you sure you want this? With me?"

"Are you kidding? Of course I want this, I want you, I’ve never been so sure in my life."

"But doesn’t this feel to soon?" Concern filling the red headed witch-y poo’s voice.

"It feels more than right to me, but I-If it’s to soon for you, we can stop." Her stutter appearing briefly.

"Tara, I just don’t want this to be a mistake. I like you a lot, and I haven’t liked a woman like I have you in so long that, I just don’t want it to be in such a furry hurry that I mess it up. I have a habit of that y’know, and well this, this is so amazing that I wouldn’t ev- -" Her words cut by a kiss.

Taking Willow’s hand she guided it up to her cheek and she brushed it against her softly, canting her head into the touch. Her eye’s always locked on jade, keeping a contact that was so intament that she could barely focus on what she was trying to accomplish. "It won’t be a mistake." She spoke softly and with a hush in her tone.

"Promise?" Willow’s body already reacting to what the blonde was showing her.

"Promise. Okay?" She smiled and turned her face into Willow’s palm and kissed it softly, Her hand barely even holding on to the other woman’s wrist.

"Okay."

Tara smiled and let go of Willow’s hand leaving her with control on how she wanted to touch her, how she wanted to feel her. Letting her own hands slip to the bottom seam of the red heads shirt. She lifted slowly slightly tugging up so Will would get the hint. Raising up Willow placed her own hands on her shirt and pulled it up and over casting it to the side of the chair and laying back down against Tara, her cool skin touching the soaked material, giving her body goose bumps. Their lips met again in a tango that could only be defined by them, milky white hands searching, caressing and wanting.

Finding this situation with her self at the disadvantage, Willow sat back up, guiding Tara with her, lowering her lip assault down the swan like neck, stopping only briefly and then back to her mission to her collar bone. Willow’s hands guided around the curves of the voluptuous body and down to the hem of the soft thin sweater. She slowly lifted and pulled her head back at the same time in a fluid motion. Tara’s arms raised in compliance and in a flash the material was gone and laying on the cement. Leaning her soon to be lover back to the plastic, Willow’s mouth played search and destroy on the creama skin, kissing and licking in all the right places, focusing on the pulse point, adding nips to the game also.

A thin hand slowly curving and cupping the outer side of the larger breast that was below her, her body moved down slowly and her lips followed. A soft murmur came from the wonton sex goddess that she was now becoming so familiar with. Willow stopped for a brief moment to look up at Tara. She smiled softly and spoke lightly. "Is this okay?"

Being pulled from the place that she had been dreaming about all night Tara looked down and smiled, bringing her hand up to Willow’s cheek and caressed it, she nodded in acceptance for the red head to continue. Jade eye’s watching as the woman nodded her on a smile crept against her features once again. Her head leveled with the full chest and her eye’s were in shock, she had never really seen breasts that were of this size, and so amazingly crafted, they were truly of the art variety.

Her lips hovering over the now erect nipple she wondered what she should attack first direct line of fire? Or maybe a more subtle approach? She chose to follow the line of her hand, starting at the tip of her index finger and kissing down. Willow leaned over to the side of Tara, curling next to her and continuing her tease.

A thin woman of about 25, not more than five foot four inches. Her eyes an elegant gray and her skin a deep honey brown was walking along the cemented path back to her semi nice hotel room. Wow when the woman on the phone had said it was a looker she didn’t think it meant stare and think 'wow this is where John Wayne Gacy must have live. Or can we say Bates motel.' She continued on her way carrying her hot pink plastic laundry basket full of her freshly dried whites. As she snaked through the maze of the path she was coming upon the poolside and her eye had just caught it, the sight of a naked breast. When she felt a large force push her, she tumbled with the person and landed in the bush her basket still out in the open and socks decorating the green, she looked up into a pair of hazel eyes and she raised a brow. "God, issues much?" her accent heavy she struggled to free herself from under the small woman who was amazingly mighty.

Tara’s head popped up and looked around hearing the rustle of bushes. "Will, did you hear that?"

With her mouth still full and her brain not willing to take her mind off the skin delight in front of her the red head responded with a muffled and full "uh uh."

"You sure? Coz I think I heard something." Her shy and nervous demeanor taking over and leaving her unable to concentrate on the good feelings that the other woman was giving her.

Stopping Willow leaned her head up and looked into Tara’s eyes. "It was probably a cat or a raccoon or something." She tried to assure her with a smile.

Closing her eye’s a crocked smile spread over her lips and Tara leaned her head back once again. "Your probably right."

Seeing that the blonde was ready to return to what she was feeling Willow smiled and leaned her head back down, letting Tara’s nipple slide between her lips and her tongue began to swirl around the swollen pink nub, her hand massaging against the full mound.

"B, what the hell ya doin? Tryin to get us kicked out of the state for harassing people?" The thick Boston accent slightly flavored with the drawl of the Texan speak. Spread over the night in a hushed tone.

Shawnie stopped her struggle and looked over the shoulder of the blonde woman and came eye to eye with a pair of heavenly set doe eyes. Buffy immediately rolled off the woman and looked up at the other. "Faith, she was about to see Willow and Tara, and I didn’t think it was on the best idea policy for that to happen." Faith glared at her, but broke into a small snicker when she remembered what she had seen, she and Buffy had been on the other side of the pool watching and setting Buffy’s fears at rest when the two slayers had heard the soft patter of feet on cement. Buffy had gone one way and Faith the other to head the person off at the pass, but apparently Buffy had deemed it necessary to tackle the poor woman, sending them in a tumble and roll into some bushes. Faith had been just down the walk way when she saw it, the young woman walking, minding her own business. She was just to the corner gate of the pool when out of no where a flying Buffy, or in her mind she looked more like a tackling squirrel jumped out from nowhere and they plummeted. The socks and what not's flying in the air, it was a real sight to see and one she would never forget, or let Buffy for that matter.

"I’m sorry for my friend, she just was trying to protect another from a embarrassing moment." Faith smiled and held out a hand to help the woman up.

"Oh." The slightly older woman replied. She took the hand kindly and sat up,

"Ya see, our friend Red is out on her first date in a long time and Buff here, well she feels like a sister and didn’t want anything to go wrong, we heard you walking and then well y’know the rest." Faith turned her head to check out the lay of the land to get them out of the area.

"Uhm, I." She raised a brow trying to find a polite response.

"Sorry." Buffy stated in a pathetic apology.

"It’s alright sugar." She smiled sweetly. "You were just helping a friend." She stood in a hunched fashion, trying to stay covered by the bushes. "So what are we gonna do about my clothes?"

"Uh, clothes?" Buffy cleared her throat softly. "I uh, we’ll take care of that." She smiled.

Just on the other side of the bushes a breathless Tara spoke in a hushed tone. "Touch me Willow." She let her lips wrap around the pulse point on the woman’s neck, softly biting into the soft flesh, not hard enough to break the skin, but enough to feel it.

Willow smiled and complied, her hand slowly moving down the woman’s body, it stopped at the button and fly of her jeans. Expertly with one had she unbuttoned and unzipped the old aged contraption and she slowly slid her hand under the material.

"Mmm." Tara moaned softly at the sensation of the other woman’s hand.

Continuing Willow slipped her hand beneath the silk fibbers of the blond witches’ panties and her hand descended to the smoldering core of her center. Sliding a finger between the slick folds vixen. The red head tantalized her clit with as light of a touch as she could.

Gasping at the contact, Tara’s hips raised to meet the touch, her body pleading for release, her mind craving the burst of feel good energy. "Please Willow." She needed it now.

Smiling inwardly Willow was proud that she was able to accomplish this with such an amazing woman as Tara. Letting her wish be granted the red head made full contact with the throbbing nerve center. Her middle finger ran over the skin in small circles with a pleasurable pressure.

Tara moaned out a little louder in joy, her body ranting at her. Ready and willing to climax at any moment that she would allow it, gaining more and more irritation that it hadn’t happened yet and that she was holding back.

Willow could sense Tara’s need and desire to explode, and she complied with the body’s want and slipped a finger inside her, moving it in and out slowly, building up to her finish, bringing her to the edge and back again, tantalizing the body’s quivering need. The reactions that she had felt in those moments let her know that Tara was ready she could feel her muscles flexing and un-flexing. Begging her fingers for what she wanted. Without hesitation Willow slipped a second finger in along side the other and pulled them in and out faster curling them up to rub over the ‘holy grail’ of all climaxes. With only a few strokes Tara was over the edge. Willow quickly pulled her mouth away from the feast that she was having and pressed her lips to Tara’s.

A sharp moan exited the blonde’s throat and was muffled by the other’s lips. Her eye’s rolled back into her head and she breathed in deeply as Willow’s fingers road out the orgasm with her, taking her to newer heights than she had ever experienced. Her back arching and body shivering. She was gone for at least two minuets on a shear wave of bliss. Her body calmed and it returned to the comfort and support of the plastic lounge chair. As her mind floated back to her body, she inhaled sharply and let a smile spread over her face. She rolled into Willow who was already snuggled close next to her waiting for Tara to return to her. As Tara’s eyes opened they met with a deep jade and she made a soft groan speaking. "Hey." She smiled again, snuggling into Willow.

"Hey." The red head replied.

"Your amazing."

Willow smiled. "So are you."

Two sets of lips met in a kiss that could have heated the entire arctic to boiling. Willow and Tara quickly dressed realizing where they were and how open it was. Both girls set a course back for the hotel room.

Ok sooo this sooo didn't turn out how i pictured it to go along, I really wanted it to run longer, I am working on the final chapter for the story and that should clear it up and let me move on so I can start something fresh and more slow paced... Thanks again for all that have stuck with the Story... I don't know how long it will take me to finish up the last chapter at a glance it might be about 10 pages long, I dont think I will put it in two parts, I dont want the moment ruined... there could be a place to make a continuation due to length but Im so not sure yet..... Thanks again to all that stuck around and please keep checking back for the big finish...

Thanks Aly :bigwave

Authors Notes: I know this wasn’t one of my best pieces of work, in fact I think it is one of my shortest. In retrospect I’m glad I did it. I’m glad I took a spark of an idea and turned into something that is hard to do when I’m writing, I was able to laugh when I saw the joke of the situation I was able to cry when I saw the inner workings of a character. But most of all I found that no matter what setting you have a W/T story it always leads to the most happy of endings. I’d like to specially thank the people that left me all the comments, it really kept me going, to look forward to the smut chants, to see the reactions, to see if they were what I hoped for…

Willohand: Thank you for always lending an ear when I needed one, thank you for setting the flow of comments, you were the reasons I chose to start posting on the kitten. Thank you again.

Alysagoddess85: Thank you for continuing to read, it was always helpfull when you or anyone else commented to keep my flow going.

WickedReds: Your Smut bananna was always a highlight of your comment and part of what I always enjoyed looking foward to.

Bindingwiccan: Thank you for all your help, I know I never mentioned the town that this took place in, but all your comments made it easier for me to remember my trip to Texas.

To Everyone else that read and never left a comment: Thank you for taking the chance on my fic, even if you never did finish it, Im glad you at least clicked on it. I encourage you in the future to leave the author a reply, it always adds to the excitement of writing and wondering how your words went along in their mind.

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters that were writen and seen on Buffyverse, but I do own the ones that I created, I know they aren't that special but they made my fic a little better, so please no takey.

Song= Bold "Kelly Clarkson, Break Away"

Memory= Italic

Now for the finale of Texas Love.....

Grew up in a small town,

And when the rain would fall down,

I'd just stare out my window.

Dreaming of what could be,

And if I'd end up happy,

I would pray.

Tara sat at the window in her small gingerbread house sized room. Her head hung and her hair drapped over each side of her shoulders. Her memories of the past five months running its course once again through her mind.

"Hey." The petite blond had smiled at her. Tara had smiled when she heard some one addressing her. That night, she would never forget. It was the night that had changed her life had brought her out of her shell. Torn from her darkness and brought her into the light. Red hair hung over her face, she could still see her, not physically but something about the woman had intrigued her from the start. How she was proportioned how she seemed so special from just a glance, and then she spoke. "Hey Buffy." It wasnt her whole sentance but those two words were the most amazing sounds she had ever heard in all of her life.

The blonde continued to look out her window, she touched the glass seeing the woman's face that she had fallen for so madly in love with. Tears starting to coat her cheeks in what could of been if she hadn't of been so scared. Willow and she had gotten so close that evening and it all started with a song a song that she couldn't believe reflected her night so perfectly.

She had grabbed her arm and another song started to play. She began to sing and dance with the red head.

"I've been a rock and I got my fences I never let them down, When it comes to love, I keep my senses I don't get kicked around, I shivered once, you broke into my soul, the damage is done now, I'm out control. How did you get to me? No one else on earth could ever hurt me, break my heart the way you do. No one else on earth was ever worth it."

They had laughed while the she sang and taught the woman to dance, their body's were close, her breath on her dream's neck.

Tara could still remember how she smelt, how she felt in her arms. They felt so right and how was it she wasn't in her arms right now? Oh yeah thats right she had been a big ol'chicken.. Willow had asked her to come with her and she had said no, part in fear and part because she felt she couldn't, she felt trapped. Her legs tucking tighter to her chest, she remembered more and more of the things and feelings that one night had given her.

She had stunned the blonde by turning around and dancing with her. She floored her again and began to sing the last few lines with her.

"The Damage is done now, I'm out control. How did you get to me? No one else on earth could ever hurt me, break my heart the way you do. No one else on earth was ever worth it, no one could love me like, No one could love me like, No one else on earth could ever hurt me, break my heart the way you do, No one else on earth was ever worth it, No one could love me like, No one could love me like you."

A simple smile had completed the song and the dance, that smile it was amazing, it was just so adorible and so full of life, she was her sunshiner, her light that warmed her soul.

But still couldn't believe that she was still sitting her, her small town her small house, her small everything, what was so big what was so amzing, Willow was thats what. Another memory came flooding into her mind.

Willow's hand in her's it was so warm, soft, gentel delicate. It was many things but mainly it was Willow's the red head that had stolen her heart from the moment she had seen her. She had only spent a few hours with the girl but there she was amzing and adorible, her foot tapping along to the music her hand squeezed slightly and she looked over and smiled at her. She was so Bold something Tara felt she could never be.

Sitting up some in her torn and tattered chair Tara found her self smiling, that one memory was able to cheer her to the core. She was completely happy in just that one memory.

Tara had lifted Willow's head and was smiling at her, just gazing into her eyes. The warm smile was being returned in great amounts, sparkles in Willow's eye's were nothing compared to what her heart was saying. She saw something in this beautiful woman that was giving her a great dance. Tara's heart pumped and raced at what she was about to say, she was dying to get it out from the second they had started talking, finding things in common. She gulped and then pulled all the courage from every part of her body, she was afraid her heart was about to stop. "W-Willow." She stopped and tried to compose herself more. "Willow, I like you."

That memory when she first thought about her emotions chilled her to the bone, she had thought she had killed it for sure, she thought it was the worst thing she could have done and she knew she had lost the most amazing woman forever, she would just let her go and walk away.

"I like you too."

Oh god it still gave her shivers to hear it now, to bring her to the warm fuzzy's again pushing away her original feelings, god she was just so special. Tara lifted her hand and touched to fingers to her lips.

Willow leaned in and laid a very light but sweet kiss on her lip's.

A deep sigh had rung through her lungs. A much lighter memory came into her thoughts and she had to just smile.

"Oh look a bull." She giggled out loud.

Stumbling up to the stirrup she pulled up with her leg and swung the other over and sat down. "BOB TURN IT ON." She laughed a little at that thought, sniffling in some of the extra liquid that had built from her tears and causing her nose to run.

"WILLOW!!!" The blonde called out seeing her hot mamma yamma standing in the crowd. She leaned back in the chair and rubbed her face some iliciting another memory.

Tara rolled onto her back and started giggling uncontrollably, only stopping long enough to answer the question. "Of course silly." Not a moment later she rolled onto her side and groaned. "Will I don't feel so good."

She couldn't believe that the girl had stuck with her that whole time only caring about what was going on in the blondes' body, but that was her Willow. Her Willow? Was she still her's? She couldn't be she had went away, The words echoing in her mind.

"I know baby."

Try hard to reach out,

But when I tried to speak out,

Felt like no-one could hear me.

Wanted to belong here,

But something felt so wrong here.

So I'd pray,

I could break away.

She slid across the cool tile to the toliet and her head instinctively hung and her body pushed and heaved, she fet the hair lift from around her face and she just knew it was the girl that she was meant to spend the rest of her life with, how could she not be she was still here seeing her at her worst, a small hand touched her back and rubbed softly as her body pressed out the toxin from the alcohol she had ingested.

So stupid, I should haven went with her, why didnt I? I should be with her right now. Tara stood from her chair and walked over to her desk, still tapped up from the day that she had gotten it, Willow's number written in the most beautiful penmenship, it was her Willow that had told her.

"Are you sure you can't come Tara?"

Her face filled with hope and a dream that she would be with her, her Tara MaClay, Willow Rosenberg wanted to be with her. "Im Sorry W-Willow." Her studdar flaired. "I-I can't." Willow's face crinkling in pain, oh how she wanted to kiss that away, take her in her arms and hold her, tell her yes, yes she would come with her.

"Tara, promise me, if you.." her voice had hitched and she never wanted to say the words, Tara knew she didn't want to believe this was real, she had felt it that night by the pool. She sniffled and cleared her throat trying not to make it harder. "Just please tell me that if you do change your mind, y-you will call me?"

Tara tried to smile through her tears. "I promise."her voice at a whisper letting her hand go up to Willow's cheek she brushed the tears away.

"Tara, please, please come back to Sunnydale with me, I-I."

Tara had cut her off putting a finger to her lips. She couldnt hear that again it was just so hard. "Willow, just know I love you, I want to , but I cant." She almost lost it righ there, she almost burst into tears and doubled over from her heart braking so terribly. "I love you Willow." Her hand fell from her cheek and grazed the the red heads hand, catching as she turned to walk away. She turned and headed off back towards her place. Her face contorted into what her heart was feeling and finally she allowed herself to cry, as long as Willow couldnt see she was free to let the tears fall.

Returning from the memory, tara's breath hitched and silent tears fell. Tara reached for her phone but pulled her hand back she couldn't. She took another deep breath and she let her eye's flow over the books on her desk, one in particular standing out. "Willow." She said silently to herself, it was Willow's book. She had given it to her the night that they were at the motel just coming back from the pool.

"y-you’re a witch?"....

"Well not like a wart-y witch with facial hair kind, but more of the earth praising sometimes spell casting variety." The red head had responded.

Tara smiled at another thought, it was how much they shared in common, many passions that were so alike, yet at times they were so different.. But so alike. "I can't take this." she spoke out loud to herself, her mind was in turmoil without the redhead, she needed to get away. She had to break away.

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly,

I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky,

And I'll make a wish, take a chance,

Make a change, and break away.

Out of the darkness and into the sun,

But I won't forget all the ones that I love.

I'll take a risk, take a chance,

Make a change, and break away.

A small blue duffel bag sat on her small framed bed, her clothes folded on the foot of her bed, she turned around and looked at what was her life. She decided that this was the now and here she was this is where she wanted to be, she knew this was her only chance and she wasn’t going to give that up for anything in the world.

Stuffing the clothes into the plastic blue weave Tara continued, she was spreading her wings and she wasn’t going to stay back where she couldn’t be herself. Looking at the small phone on her desk, she sniffled from the earlier thoughts and rubbed the tip of her nose.

Contemplation was the hardest part to get past but she needed to do this she had to she couldn’t keep herself from it. Closing the space between herself and the small wooden space her hand reached out and pressed a series of buttons and she brought the phone to her ear. The ring scaring her each time she waited. Her hopes were faltering when the phone reached the fourth ring. Just as she was about to hang up she heard the voice answer.

“Hello?” The voice sounded a little groggy. She wasn’t even sure if it was the right number; maybe they had changed it since she had last talk to her friend.

“Hello?” The blonde spoke hesitantly.

“Tara?” The voice is becoming more coherent.

“Yeah.”

“Oh my god, I haven’t talked to you in so long!” The other girl was obviously smiling when she said this her voice raised in an excited tone.

“Yeah sorry about that.”

“It’s ok, I was just worried and actually I was just talking about you the other day.” Her smiled in her voice seeming to broaden.

‘This was a good sign.’ “Actually I was calling because I umm.. Could I stay with you? I just need to get out of here. I can’t be here anymore.”

“Hey, yeah I have the extra room, we’d love to have you here. But you SO better not make it a short stay.” The other girl slightly chuckled when she finished her sentence.

“Oh no, It’ll be awhile I still have to find a job and my own place.”

“Good then that’s settled you’re coming to live with me and maybe I can find you something with me.”

“Ok, so see you in a couple of days?”

“Definitely! You better hurry we miss you.”

With that the two girls both said their goodbye and hung up. Warmth washed over the visage of Tara’s body. It felt good to hear those words. She had been really worried that they would have said no. A weight lifted and she continued her packing.

“Who was that?”

“Oh an old friend.” The girl smiled.

“Uh cryptic much?” He grinned at her.

“Oh yeah, big, HUGE on the cryptic, you know me, always the one for top secret missions of secrets.” She laughed.

“So what did mystery friend want?”

“Umm she was hopin she could stay with me for a little bit, which is odd.” She stopped mid sentence and flew off to some place in her head.

The young man pushed some of the blankets out of the way, that had been lying on the couch where the young girl had been napping. Taking a seat next to her he watched as she took a long vacation in thought.

“Uh Earth to crypt-o gal, What’s odd?” He waved his hand in front of her face.

“Oh, I just didn’t think she would call that’s all.”

Wanna feel the warm breeze,

Sleep under a palm tree,

Feel the rush of the ocean,

Get onboard a fast train,

Travel on a jetplane,

Faraway, and break away.

The bus terminal had been desolate so Tara had gotten her ticket in a reasonable amount of time and just her luck she had to wait an extra hour for the large charter bus to even arrive. But it was a small price to wait compared to a lifetime of what she would have endured at home. In her mind she could only thank one person, Willow. It was her that had shown her that she was worth more than her family had given her. Treated like a slave, she was a beck and call girl to them, their handmaiden. But now she didn’t have to think about that she was gonna get out of here and maybe someday some day soon she could be happy again, like that one night she had spent with the amazing red head.

Just as the counter clerk had told her the Greyhound arrived shockingly on time, not that she would know she had never been out of this town before, she had been here all her life. She was afraid but this was what she was going to do her mind set and she couldn’t believe she had only left her father a note, just a note! Goodness she was being defiant and she loved it!

Adjusting herself in her seat she staired out of the window watching it pull from the small four seat waiting terminal and she was at the point of no return. She settled in and closed her eye’s clutching the bag with her only needed belongings, a couple things of clothes and her books. Closing her eyes she set in for the long 24-hour trip till she was home.

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly,

I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky,

And I'll make a wish, take a chance,

Make a change, and break away.

Out of the darkness and into the sun,

I won't forget all the ones that I love.

I've gotta take a risk, take a chance,

Make a change, and break away.

When her eye’s opened she was gazing into the morning sun rise and it was beautiful, she could see the light of brand new day, the dawn of brand new morning and it warmed her entirely and she couldn’t help but grin with her infamous half smile. She focused ahead and saw the sign that was leading her to the place where heaven and angels existed. ‘500 miles to go.’ She settled back in to her seat and watched as her surroundings passed her.

In the time that she had woken up and watched the sun rise Tara had drifted back off to sleep and found herself in a nightmare whirlwind. First her father had found out where she had been since finding the note and dragging her back off to where she used to call home, then the other had consisted of her being murdered by some large man with a mullet. She was starting to have way out wacky dreams, nothing that was super unusual with her but still it was really unusual the man that had the mullet also bore sharp fangs and was a creature of the night.

Shivers spiralled down her back and into her legs giving them a tiny tinge of anixety to get off the bus and stretch and walk around. But that wouldn’t be for another two hours she guestimated. But just as her thought finished the busses breaks came to a hault in that oh so silent fashion that they always do. Hissing and squeeling brought Tara her quick answer to her guestimation.‘Huh well guess I was out longer than I thought.’ Her mind drifted and she stood up, getting a greatfull stretch in before walking down the isle.

Buildings with a 100 floors,

Swinging around revolving doors,

Maybe I don't know where they'll take me.

But I gotta keep moving on moving on,

Fly away, break away.

The station was actually quiet full of travelers, mostly of the leaving variety. Sliding the shoulder strap over her in an attempt to harness the heavy load she took in her suroundings. “Small but not to big to manuver on foot.” She estimated.

Weaving in and out of the crowds Tara was in search of the exit that would take her away from the depot and into the center of the homes. Not ever being here before she had no freakin clue where to go and how impossible it would be to get there on foot. But just as luck would have it, the bus station happened to carry maps!

Taking her detour over to the gift shop she walked in to find a rather nice looking elderly woman manning the counter all by her lonesome, which she seemed perfectly fine doing. No one was in there, that was a bit strange, and customary to most travlers to atleas grab a post card or two.. At least that is how she always had pictured what she would do if ever on vacation.

"Oh hello dear." The older woman had seen her come in and never one to lose a chance to chat up a travler she decided now was a great time.

"Hello." Tara offered the smile that always melted anyone that was in range.

"How can I help you today."

The woman seemed all to familiar to the young wiccan, like she had seen her soem where before, but where? Was it on television? The paper? Was she a celebrity and Tara just didnt notice? "Umm, I was hoping you had a city map. I'm ne-new here" There went her stutter, the whole trip no problems and now it decided to show right up again. "And, I was hoping that you might be able to help me find this address." She pulled the scratch paper from her back pocket and unfolded it for the woman to see.

The older woman smiled. "Oh dear me, I know just where that is. No need for a map love." She turned a little so she could look out the window. "Ok take this street about two blocks north, you'll come up to a stop light that has no sign, there you make a right and continue down about ten houses, and it should be on your left.

Thank full to have found the woman Tara smiled and thanked her, leaving with a wave she followed out of the terminal and walked the two blocks that she had explained. Sure enough there was the street she had described. 'Wonder if she has been here all her life, or maybe this is just a small town that you get to know everything right away.' She considered as she rounded the turn.

As she walked along she hummed little tuned in her mind, mostly old television shows from the 60's like, Welcome back catter, and The I love Lucy show. As she went through her little musical exposa she started to hum along to the Mary Tyler Moore show and then it hit her. 'Oh My God, she was the spitting image of Tex Baxter's wife.' Sadly enough Tara was a entusiast when it came to old tv shows, her mom used to watch them and had gotten her stuck when she was only seven.

During her daze she had almost passed the house right up, but it had caught her attention being the only two story on the block. Standing in front of the walk way, she took a deep breath and then sighed, She could do this. She could right?

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly,

Though its not easy to tell you goodbye.

Gotta take a risk, take a chance,

Make a change, and break away.

Out of the darkness and into the sun,

But I won't forget the place I come from.

I've gotta take a risk, take a chance,

Make a change, and break away.

No time like the present, and over fifteen thousand miles later she couldn't chicken out now, she had come so far. Clearing her throat she took a cleansing breath and walked the short distance to the step up to the front door. Not sure what to expect, the blonde had disentangled herself from the duffle and set it on the porch next to her side.

Knocking twice she waited. It seemed as if no one was home. All the lights were out inside, but it was day time so no worry right? She was home wasn't she? She was expecting her and she wouldn't just take off like that. She would wait. Tara looked down at her wrist and checked her watch. 'Ohhboy.' She was about an hour or more early, she could of ran out to the store really fast or then again she could have had something important that she needed to do really fast.

Turning around to check out the neighbor hood and aquaint herself with it, She started to take a step down when she heard a small squeek of the door opening. She whirled around quickly to give her greeting but was stopped dead in her tracks. Her words caught in her throat. Line of sight caught in surprise, blue meeting green.

The other woman stared back at her in the same sort of shock. All words caught in her throat. One stranger that had made her eye's sparkle and she was in that moment dazed.

Red hair streaked from the door and engulfed Tara in her arms.. A little startling but with her warmth and memory Tara melted into Willow and hugged her back as tight as she possibly could. Both girls instincively leaned back and simotaniously wanted the same thing, their lips met in the longest kiss that two star crossed lovers could have embraced. Lips sering the others, tongues darting in the search of their mate.

After a good solid minuet had passed, or at least that is how short it had seemed to them they enveloped each other once more in a hug and held tight fearful that this was only a dream. Tara was the first to regain her voice.

"I'm home Willow. Finally home." Her voice but a whisper.

Break away.

Lol, Its in the works, my editor and I are working on trying to push out a date on book three so not sure when I am going to get started on the next selection on my list. All though its partialy because of being out of town and not at home and some tremendous writers block.

I have a few ideas but they arent panning out. I do know my editor likes the opening of the fic and he has stated he normally hates AU... So that is a huge plus for me!
