Oh, ladies, the last few posts have cracked me up big style.

If I were a bookie I'd be takin' bets. This thought piqued my curiousity about the dibs stakes for this fic, so as I had to give the geek in me some playtime, I decided to see who the front runner would be.

Jude - 3 dibs.

Jen - 5 dibs.

Rachel - 6 dibs.

Jude's dibs have all been in the later stages of the race, Rachel is well placed in the middle parts, and Jen's have been regulary scattered over the 51 chapters.

On current form, the smart money should be on Jude.

But, ladies, I give you one runner in race you all seem to have forgotten about.

Dlline - yep, that filly has dibbed on 15 occasions - the last on chapter 50.

I'm pretty much speechless after that one. The action was exciting and dramatic and just as quickly turned heart-wrenching. Even without knowing how it will end, this has been an incredibly moving story and I'm so thankful you've shared it.

I've been curious about John's role in this battle for some time and he did not disappoint! I'm curious whether his connection with Willow will be revealed in the end or if it will be one of those grand little mysteries.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to these final paragraphs (even though I suspect more weepy moments to come).
