Voice over : They say the darkest hour is the one before Dawn :



Image : Buffy stands, her dark jeans ripped and scuffed, blood oozing from a cut on her forehead, Dawn cowering against her leg, shivering cold and afraid. A ring of vampires surround them, snarling and angry.



Image : Anya sobbing, cut and bleeding as she crawls across burnt and corrupted grass.



Voice over : They say that nothing exists in the darkness that doesn’t in the light



Image : Xander and Giles stood back to back, in total darkness, both with a raised weapon. An Image of 'something' flashes off the blade of Xanders Axe moving in the darkness towards them



Voice over : They say dreams cannot hurt you.



Image : Tara’s face, misty and slightly unfocused, merging into Madalene’s face, equally misty, merging into an image of Willow asleep floating centimetres off the mattress, mist swirling around her.



Voice over : What if they lied.



Image : Willow, black haired, black eyed, black outfit, firing a bolt of fire towards the screen. The fire ball hits the screen and morphs into the Buffy the Vampire Logo.

I have found this fic really consoling...caring characters, intrigue, weeping Willow and buffering Buffy...

Eerie that Maladic was so impressed with DMW that he wanted her to gain control of his power source. But Giles is right, with Tara returned to her she is no longer that person. She is Tara's Willow. As it should be.
