xita: Thanks :)

darkmagicwillow: Yeah, I noticed the Canon/Fandom thread... right after I did my little speech here. Heh. I'm glad you liked the 'afterwards' summary. I felt the story ended well as it was, and wouldn't have been suited to a proper epilogue, but I'm glad to have it 'on record' that they, well, lived happily ever after.

Grimlock72: I know, I know... :) Who Is Tara Maclay is, in some respects, a similar kind of story to TARA - it will involve Willow and Tara being at the centre of events much larger than themselves. I feel I need to do something of a different style before I get back into that mind-set, so I'll be doing Girls With Plans next. But don't worry, I *will* finish Who Is Tara Maclay in the end. More ideas are appearing (I maintain that I don't actually create these stories, I just relay them from wherever they come from, and they don't always arrive all at once :) ). I know where Who Is Tara Maclay is going, with ever-increasing certainty, I just need a break before I tackle something of that scale again. Girls With Plans will be a nice change of pace - fast, witty, sexy and smart. Well, that's the idea, hopefully I'll be able to pull it off :)

About the way TARA turned out, I'd intended for it to be a straight-forward action adventure, very much in the same style as Tron - flashy, exciting, but basically a bit of entertaining fluff without too much substance. The main elements I didn't imagine when I started: the convoluted nature of Willow and Tara's relationship until they sorted it out; the exposition on program beliefs and their reactions to being without their users; the refugees at the I/O tower; the entire nexus/Sailer hangar sequence; Echelon's plan to invade Earth; Sark's death at Rain's hands; and finally Willow's journey into the mind of Echelon. Those are the main 'surprises' (as opposed to just things I made up as I went along) - the parts of the story where I *thought* I knew what was going to happen, and it turned out differently.

Fic: TARA (chapter 32, final)

Well, better late than never on feedback, right?

Artemis, this story was absolutely amazing. I've never seen the movie Tron and this fic ensures that I never will. I cannot imagine that the movie could compare to the images that you describe in TARA. I want to keep my own mental image of this world.

I was so impressed by how you created such an intimate, sensual relationship between Willow and Tara without it being a sexual relationship in the traditional sense.

I also really like the balance of how one of them could be strong when the other needed help or support. They switch the role of protector/guide very seamlessly depending on the demands of the situation.

Thank you for this fic and I look forward to reading more of Hellebore and to the resurrection of Who Is Tara Maclay.

Only took me three years to find this story! Kidding.
Read this story over the last couple of days. At first I was a little reluctant because of the whole 'being inside a computer' thing but I gave it a shot because I know and love your stories... am glad that I did! Willow & Tara were so cute that they sometimes made me forget that they were 'programs' and in the middle of a war. Wouldnt have thought that WT would work this well in this kinda setting but you did it again! :pinky
Really loved how they kept making Giles feel all british :x
