Okay its been a while since my last update...bad me...I'll try not to let it happen again Hope you all enjoy this chapter. Granted it's quite short but I'll try and make a big update for you all tommorow night.

Summary- Alternate universe where Buffy and Willow have finished their first semester at UCSD. During the long summer break, Buffy’s cousin comes to stay.



Notes – Ok this will probably suck and will be very cliché I guess but hey. And well it was gonna be fluffy bunnies but I’m not promising un-angst anymore, but there may not be umm well anyway, thoughts are in < >



Previously…



“Good, cos I’m starving.” Buffy said before getting her wallet out, “You wouldn’t mind going up there and getting a burger for me and Mike would you? I thought not, thanks Will you’re the best.” Buffy said before patting Willow on the shoulder and wandering over with Mike to his posse.



Willow just stood for a while and then shook her head, “Guess we better put some clothes on.”



“Yeah, ones that don’t look like we have been attacked be a shark or something.”



“Hey you started the feisty clothes ripping missy!” Willow defended.



“Are you complaining?” Tara asked huskily.



“Good point!”



… … … …



Willow and Tara waited impatiently for Buffy to finish sucking face with Mike. Willow looked disgusted at the over zealous use of tongue going on before her eyes. < All though, based on today’s events, I could be accused of that myself. >



Willow smiled and looked at Tara who was looking equally disgusted by the get a roominess. Tara turned and saw Willow smiling at her, she smiled back and briefly squeezed her hand. < Willow and I could show Buffy a thing or two about passionate kissing. >



Buffy eventually dragged herself away from Mike and giddily made her way over to Willow and Tara, “Okay I’m ready to go.”

Buffy rambled on about Mike all the way home. However, Willow and Tara were oblivious to her ramblings, as they were too busy exchanging shy glances and enjoying the moments when their hands would briefly touch. Of course they would rather be alone, touching more than their hands, but they guessed that Buffy would be needing a lot of alone time with Mike, leaving them with their own alone time.



“So Will?” Buffy asked chirpily and barged between Willow and Tara to link arms with her best friend, much to Tara’s displeasure, “Are you coming to mine for food of the edible variety?”



“Um actually, I think I better go home, got lots of sleep to catch up on and I think my mom may even care that I haven’t been home a lot.” Willow looked apologetically at Buffy and Tara. Tara smiled at Willow a little, trying to hide her disappointment.



“Oh come on Will, just a few hours?” Buffy grinned hopefully at her friend.



“I really should go home, but we can Bronze tomorrow night or something?” Willow suggested.



Buffy frowned, “Hmm I suppose so, guess I don’t have to drag you inside and chain you to the…” Buffy paused, “I’m not even going to finish that sentence.” Willow laughed and looked at Tara who had a cheeky grin on her face and quirked an eyebrow at the redhead, causing Willow to cough loudly to hide the flush in her cheeks, “We should invite Xander and Anya too.” Buffy continued.



Willow frowned at Anya’s name but decided not to protest, “Well I’ll see you guys tomorrow then.” She said as they approached Buffy’s house.



“Okay cool I’ll call you.” Buffy said before walking up the path.



“Bye Willow.” Tara said and smiled affectionately at the redhead. Willow smiled back, wishing she could give the blonde a goodbye kiss. She realised that even Buffy wouldn’t be able to make up a “their just good friends” excuse for that.

“Hello?” Willow shouted as she stepped inside her house. She looked around for her parents and noticed a note on the coffee table:



Willow

Gone to a conference on Epistemology. We’ve left some money for you and we’ll be back in a few days.

Mom x



Willow scrunched the paper into a ball and threw it across the room. < I could be spending time with my beautiful Tara, but no I had to go home and see my parents…and they’re not even here! > Willow trudged upstairs to her room, slamming the door behind her. < Doesn’t really have much affect when there’s no one here. > She sighed and decided to have a shower.



Willow closed her eyes in contentment as the water cascaded down her back. Her mind drifted from thoughts of her evil parents to Tara. Her mind had been drifting there a lot lately. She thought of Tara’s smile, her laugh, her eyes, her golden hair, her hands…lips…tongue. Willow snapped her eyes open, “Okay so not going there, that is not going to do me any good!” Willow said aloud as she hurriedly finished her shower and went to change into her pyjamas.

Tara couldn’t sleep, she had allready sang 1000 green bottles and counted about a million fields of sheep. Even though she already seen Willow today, she still missed her so much. She reached over to Buffy’s dresser and grabbed the picture of Buffy, Xander and Willow. Willow looked adorable with her long hair and cute dungarees. Tara smiled fondly at the picture and placed it back on the dresser. She sighed and made her way downstairs to get a glass of water.

Willow groaned when she heard the phone ring. She opened one eye and looked at the clock, the blurry digital numbers finally came into focus and showed 1.45am. She rolled over to the phone and picked it up.



“Hello?” she asked, her voice thick with sleep.



“Willow?” Tara asked tentavily.



Willow sat up surprised, “Tara? Has something happened? Is there something wrong?” she panicked.



Tara smiled at the redheads concern, “No I’m fine, uh I know its dumb but…I just wanted to hear your voice, but then I realised its really late and I got you up and…”



Willow had a huge smile on her face and her stomach was doing happy flips, “Tara, that’s so sweet. I missed you tonight.” Tara smiled, glad that Willow wasn’t annoyed at being disturbed, “I had lots of Tara filled dreams to make up for it though.”



“Hmm care to elaborate on these dreams?”



“Oh I think you can guess what was involved.”



“Well maybe you can show me sometime?” Tara asked seductively.



Willow began to get a bit flushed at the tone the blonde had taken, “Most definitely.”



Tara decided that she should stop teasing the poor redhead…and herself, “Well I better go before Joyce catches me.”



“Okay, I’ll see you tomorrow night?”



“Okay sweetie, have good dreams.” Tara joked.



“Oh I will, bye bye.”



“Bye.” Tara said again.



“Bye.” Willow repeated.



They both sat for a while, waiting to hear the other hang up.



“One of us should go.” Tara said eventually.



“Yeah we should.”



“Yup, I’m going.”



“Me too.”



They sat for a few more moments before Tara spoke again, “So about these dreams…”

Hee... I loved Tara's thoughts about showing Buffy what a real passionate kiss is, with Willow. That was sweet. So cute. I would have hated to have had to stand there and watch Buffy suck face. EW! I don't really feel comfortable when ANYONE does it. Just depends on the type of kissing, I guess.
