Glad to hear that some of you liked it and stuck with me through the whole thing. Lovecraftian stuff is a bit more bleak and negative than I would like at the moment, but it was what I was working on and I wanted to finish it. At least in the end the girls are still together and relatively happy. There is no doubt that in the world of Cthulhu, those with too much curiousity are the first to go insane! It also seems like about 70% of the stories are told in the first person. For some reason that personal outlook tends to allow one to experience the mental breakdown of the character in more excruciating detail. Which is why I chose Willow as the point of view character.



In any case I love Lovecraft style stuff and hope that this kept everyone's interest and had a few twists to it.

Six years later I finally read this, after I saw it being referred to in the Journal of Tara story (that I also read again). Maybe 3 AM is not the best time for this kinda story... I started reading 'cause I couldn't sleep and I'm not sure I'll be able to now

Guess I'm just saying you really created an atmosphere for this story, something you don't see very often. Your writing is captivating! And the journalling style seems to make it even more so (goes for your other journal story as well).
