Chapter 10 INFERMARY: ONE MONTH LATER

Willow stood up and looked out the window and saw that Spring was coming a bit early this year. It felt so good to her to feel the sun on her skin from the window and she wished that she could be out there. When she heard a door open she turned around and saw Faith standing there. "Hey Faith, what are you doing here?"
"What do you mean what am I doing here? It is your Independence Day Red. You get out of this place today." Faith couldn't wait to have her roomie back.
"Oh right. No more being confined to just one room, now I will be confined to five." Willow scoffed
The brunette couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, but think of it this way, the food is better, the company is better, and there is a certain blonde who has arranged a little conjugal visit for you and her tomorrow."
Willow blushed and turned a shade of bright red. "I just can’t wait to see her again, that’s all." Then she bit her lip to keep from smiling.
Faith smirked at that. "Yeah sure, you just can't wait to just SEE her, suuurrre."
"Hey what do ya say we get outta here and see if Lisa can sneak me a candy bar?" Willow smiled and threw her arm around Faith’s back.
"Sounds like a plan to me, but do I get a candy bar too? You know a slayer needs her strength." Faith was so happy to have the happy joking Willow back.
"Nope, no candy for you,” Willow raised an eyebrow "Unless you want to offer Lisa a so called favor"
The slayer looked at her friend part shocked part proud. "Red, I never knew you had it in you, I'm so proud of you. But no favors, that kinda thing could get me killed."
Willow laughed thinking of what Buffy would do to a poor helpless Faith, if Faith would ever cheat. "Come on ...lets hurry it’s almost lunch and I’m starved”
"Okay Red, let get outta here." With that the two friends headed out.

BACK AT THE SUMMERS' HOME

It was a normal day like any other Xander was coming home from his lunch break and Buffy was snacking on a apple and fighting with Dawn, and Tara was standing back and just watching the two wondering if they ever quit.
Tara shook her head. "Do you two ever stop? Today is a happy day. Willow gets out of the infirmary. We are all going to go and see her when Xander gets her. Do you really want me to tell her that you have been bickering all morning?" Tara fixed them with a look that meant she really would tell the redhead.
"Well ... no." Buffy and dawn said at the same time, then both glared at each other for the mistake.
"Good. Then you two go to your corners and behave. I'll finish lunch so that we can take it with us so that Faith and Willow can eat with us. I cleared it with Lisa the other day. Tara walked off to the kitchen with a smile.
"She is so happy now that Willow is better." Dawn said with ringing excitement in her voice.
"Yeah, I still can’t believe that girl ... wonder if she was a demon...you think?" Buffy said still wanting her chance.
"Sorry Buff. You know that if she was there was no way that Tara wouldn't have killed her or at least set you lose on her." Dawn answered know how her sister felt.
"What's Tara making?" Buffy said loud enough for Tara to hear her.
Tara hearing the slayer responded. "Tara is making sandwiches and salad and chocolate bake goods. She also has fresh fruit and veggies. To drink she has soda, water, and juice."
"Chocolate goods?" Buffy’s ears perked up and she took a big smell of the air, and then looked at dawn with big green eyes. Brownies and chocolate chip cookies!!!!!" she got up and bolted to the kitchen.
Tara, hearing the slayer and the young girl heading for her, quickly grabbed the goodies and held them behind her back. When she saw the two girls she had a protective look. "You two are not going to eat all these. I made them for everyone for lunch. You can wait until then."
"But Tara I only want one." Buffy protested.
Dawn looked at Tara with a cute innocent little girl face. "Please Tara, just one?"
Seeing this, Tara folded like a bad poker hand. "Okay, but only one each and don't tell anyone." Tara thought to her self, 'It is a good thing I always make extra.' She let out a little muffled laugh and gave each of the girls one snack each.
"Thanks you Tara. Mmm, very good too." Buffy said with a full mouth.
Tara just shook her head and continued getting things ready to go. About twenty minutes later Xander showed up and they all headed out to visit Willow and Faith.

FAMILY ROOM 1

Faith and Willow were sitting around the family room waiting for the gang to get there. Faith could tell that Willow was nervous cause she wouldn't sit still. "Yo Red, chill out."
"Hehe sorry." Willow sat as still as she could but continued to tap her fingers on the table.
"Red!" Faith was laughing. "What is your malfunction? It is just the gang."
"I know but I just know...what tom is." Willow smiled and blushed bright red.
Faith burst out laughing. She was all but rolling on the floor.
"Gee thanks." Willow folded her arms and rolled her eyes.
The slayer tried to compose herself. "I'm sorry Red, but come on, your acting like you've never done it before."
"Well I mean there was this once." Willow joked.
“Ha ha, well Red you better chill out fast, cause here come company." Faith couldn't wait to see this.
Willow straightened up and sat as relaxed as she could she was fine for Xander, Buffy and Dawn, but Tara walked in carrying that basket and a flash of memories came back to willow of there little visit to the woods on summer night and she just started to blush and smile.
Tara looked at Willow and knew where she was. A small blush rose to her cheeks. She tried to hide it by ducking her head but it was no use. "So who wants f-food?"
Willow licked her lips and wondered what goodies Tara had brought along this time. Willow stood up and went right to hugging and sweetly kissing Tara. "I missed you baby, I love you so much." Willow held on tight.
Tara embraced her lover and smiled sweetly before kissing her softly. "I missed you to my love, so much!" Then she sweetly whispered to her. "And I can't wait for tomorrow." With a light lick of Willow's ear Tara went back to unpacking the basket.
Willow felt a warm tingle travel down her spine and went weak in the knees. She bit her lip and tried to act normal.
Buffy was leaning on the back wall in her black work out pants and a white v neck t-shirt. Just standing there, practically undressing an unaware Faith with her eyes. Buffy started playing with a cross chain Faith had given her.
Faith was watching every move Buffy made with eager anticipation. She slowly slide to her and grabbed her around the waist pulling her down to her lap and into a heated kiss. "I missed that B." Faith said with a smirk.
"Well gee Dawnie, grab a knife and we can start cutting the air so we can breathe...can you feel the tension?!" Xander said half way joking.
Dawn laughed. "Xander I don't think a knife is strong enough. You still have that blow torch? Maybe that will melt the tension."
Willow turned to Xander. "Ha ha very funny Xander, your just jealous because you can’t make out with Anya today in the hallway there."
With that Xander sat down and started to pout.
Tara decided to put an end to all of this. "Okay everyone dig in while it's hot or cold in this case."
Everyone started to dig in and soon settled in to a nice banter. After lunch was over they all said their good-byes and headed off sadly to where it was they had to be.

NEXT MORRNING

"Buffy, Dawn!" Tara shouted up the stairs as she was frantically looking for the car keys. She was already running a little late and couldn't find them anywhere. "Have you seen the car keys?"
Buffy came running down the stairs, Nope I don’t drive remember that’s a bad thing, remember?"
Dawn ran down following her sister. "Sorry Tare, gave back to you when I got home last night."
Buffy plopped on the couch and heard a rattle. "Oh hey, here they are. Some one must have dropped them there while making out last night, dawn?" Buffy accused.
Dawn turned beet red. "Um, no, we weren't making out, we were studying!"
"Listen to that Tara. Do you believe such thing, Dawn studying, that’s funny." Buffy snickered.
Tara was laughing a little at the banter and then went over and got the keys from Buffy. "Well Buff, she does pull in straight A's. Unlike a blonde slayer we all know and love."
"Well yeah not all of us had two smart Wicca’s tutoring us... I only had one... it isn’t fair." Buffy said in her defense.
Tara laughed and headed for the door. Before she left completely she stuck her head back in and made a mocking comment to Dawn. "Think we should tell her that Willow and I haven't been tutoring you for over a year now and you are still making straight A's?" Tara left leaving a smirking Dawn and a grumpy Buffy behind.

Willow sat on the bed and ran over in her head the best way to sit or should she stand. She wanted it to be almost perfect, nice and sweet was how she was planning on being with Tara. She missed that.
Just as Willow was really starting to panic about what to do the door opened and Tara stepped in and all thoughts left her except how beautiful this woman was. “Hi baby.”

Willow laughed. “What was the topic today?”
“The fact that she could make fun of Dawn not studying since she gets straight A’s and Buffy didn’t.” Tara giggled at this and soon Willow was joining in.
When they stopped and had caught their breath they looked at each other. Their eyes locked and all words were lost to them. Closer and closer they came until they were kissing again. They were locked in a passion filled kiss. Hands started to roam the other’s body.
Soon they started to undress each other. No words were needed for this. They just knew what the other needed and wanted. Tara laid Willow down on the bed and started to kiss her. Starting with her lips and moving down to her neck and then her collar bone until she found her small but perky breast.
