Spoilers: Anything up to the end of season 5 or 6, also in this timeline Buffy doesn’t die she just defeated Glory, but Joyce is dead. You should probably read this from the first part or you may be a little lost.

Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the “Buffy” characters, I did however create some new ones for this story, but it’s dealing with Buffy so that’s Joss’s territory not mine.

Rating: I’d guess PG-13 to be on the safe side



Cut to a graveyard in the daytime, Dawn is cleaning up a grave. She stands up, tears in her eyes, the name says Tally Rosenberg- Maclay. Standing beside Dawn is Tally, and her Grandmother.



GRANDMA: I told you, that you had a purpose

TALLY: But I don’t want to leave her

GRANDMA: I know my dear, but your job was to save the magical one, born of love, you gave your life to save her and your heart

TALLY: But she’ll need me to be there for her (Reaches out to try and touch Dawn, hands goes through Dawns face)

DAWN: (Hair blows back, looks around)

GRANDMA: You need to leave this place Tally; you don’t belong here any longer

TALLY: As long as she takes a breath I belong with her, to protect her (Looks at her Grandma) She is my soul, without her I’m nothing so my place will always be by her side.

GRANDMA: You’d give up the happiness of the afterlife just to look after her

TALLY: Yes



Cut to Willow and Tara’s home where Dawn is playing with Liz in the living room. Tara is cooking. Willow is standing beside Tara.



WILLOW: She’s so sad Tara, I mean I am to, but it’s like….

TARA: (Cuts off Willow) Baby how do you think I’d feel if it were you

WILLOW: Her soul’s gone (Hugs Tara) I never want to think about loosing you; I don’t want to think about what I’d do

TARA: Well I hope you never have to find out (Kisses Willow)



Cut over to where Dawn is holding Liz, Tally is sitting beside her.



DAWN: (Looking at Liz) Your big sister would’ve loved to be here for your birthday party (Kisses Liz’s forehead) She loved you so much

TALLY: I still do (Smiles at Liz and Dawn)

LIZ: (Reaches out towards were Tally is sitting)

DAWN: Oh stay still you can wait for cake



Cut to the party, everyone is there around the table. Tally is standing behind the table watching them eat cake.



TARA: (Sitting besides Liz’s highchair) Here baby (Tries to feed her cake)

LIZ: (Throws the cake and it hits Anya) (Laughs)

ANYA: Ok no money for you

TALLY: (Smiles)

GRANDMA: It’s getting harder for you to watch them

TALLY: I’m fine grandmother

GRANDMA: (Pats Tally on the back) It’s time for you to leave this place, you don’t want to see what’s going to happen next

TALLY: (Looks worried) What

GRANDMA: I can’t tell you, because your not supposed to interfere

TALLY: Something bads going to happen isn’t it

GRANDMA: (Doesn’t say anything) I’m sorry (Looks at Dawn)

TALLY: I won’t let anything happen to her I’ll stop it

GRANDMA: If you do you can never leave this plane of existence you’ll be stuck even after Dawn is dead

TALLY: I’ll give anything up to keep her safe

GRANDMA: It’s not meant to be Tally

TALLY: To hell with that, she will be safe even if I have to be here forever I don’t care

GRANDMA: Fine but if you take that step I can’t talk to you anymore you’ll be alone

TALLY: (Hugs her grandma) as long as she’s safe I can handle anything

GRANDMA: I hope you reconsider (fades away)



Cut to the park where Willow and Tara are swinging Liz on the baby swing.



WILLOW: (Taking a photo of Tara pushing Liz)

TARA: Honey you need to put the camera down a bit (smiles)

WILLOW: Yeah but I want her to have photos with us (looks a little sad)

TARA: Sweetie where both going to be around for a long time

WILLOW: Tally was younger then us and lets face it this is Sunnydale

TARA: (Pulls Liz out of the swing, and puts her in the stroller) (Hugs Willow)

WILLOW: I just don’t want her to be without either of us

LIZ: Money

TARA: (Looks at Willow) She said her first word

WILLOW: (Hugs Tara) Baby she said money

TARA: (Smiles) Guess Anya’s been babysitting too much huh (they both laugh)



Cut to Tally’s room where Dawn is going through some things. Tally is standing at the doorway.



DAWN: (Looking around, then lays on the bed and falls asleep)



Tara walks into the room right through Tally.



TARA: (Looks around) (shakes her head) Dawnie…(notices Dawn’s asleep, takes blanket from the back of the computer chair and covers Dawn up)



Cut back to the living room where Willow is doing some stuff on the laptop, while the baby is in a play pin.



TARA: She’s asleep in there again

WILLOW: It’s been 6 months Tara I’m starting to get worried about her

TARA: (Sits beside Willow) Me to honey, I mean I know it takes time, but… I’m still worried about her

WILLOW: Buffy said she’s failing most of her classes to

TARA: And that’s not good she’s going to loose her scholarships

WILLOW: Baby…maybe we need to package Tally’s room up

TARA: (Looks sad) You know it’s like I try to be happy cause I know we have so much to be happy about, but theirs a hole, like this isn’t supposed to be

WILLOW: I know (Kisses Tara) So what do you think

TARA: I think we should package it up (Tears come to her eyes)

WILLOW: Come here (Opens her arms up for Tara)

TARA: (Sits in Willow’s embrace)



Cut back to Tally’s room.



TALLY: (Squatting down looking at a sleeping Dawn) Baby I miss you so much

DAWN: (Crying in her sleep)

TALLY: (Touches Dawn’s face, this time her hand doesn’t go through) (Looks a little shocked) (Kisses Dawns forehead)

DAWN: (Shoots her eyes open, jumps up in bed, looks around) Tally

TALLY: Dawn

DAWN: (Looks around, runs into the living room)



Cut to the living room



DAWN: Tara

TARA: (Jumps from Willows arms) Dawn what’s wrong

DAWN: Guys I felt her

WILLOW: (Stands up) What are you talking about

DAWN: Tally was here

TALLY: (appears in the living room) (Looks confused)

TARA: Honey I’m sure… (Cut off by Dawn)

DAWN: No she was here, god why don’t you believe me, you of all people

WILLOW: Dawn, maybe you were dreaming

DAWN: Damn it I’m not dreaming I felt her

TARA: (hugs Dawn) Dawnie calm down maybe we should call Buffy

DAWN: I don’t’ want you to call Buffy I just thought you’d understand

LIZ: (Starts to cry)

WILLOW: (Picks up the baby) Dawn try to calm down a bit

DAWN: Fine you have your family who cares about me (runs out the door)

WILLOW: (Starts to cry)

TARA: (Hugs Willow and the baby) Honey she’s just upset

WILLOW: (Lays her head on Tara’s shoulder)



Cut to the street in front of the espresso pump where Dawn is walking. (Nighttime)



TALLY: (Walking beside Dawn) Dawn go home, this isn’t safe

DAWN: (Takes a sip from a bottle of Vodka)

TALLY: (Looking around)



Across the street a group of vampires are carjacking a boy, they kill him and jump in his car, about that time, a truck comes down the road, the vampires almost run into him, sending the truck in the direction of Dawn…. all you can see is bright lights.



TALLY: (Screams) NO (everything freezes) (Looks around)



Dawn is directly in front of the truck with her hands stretched; if it resumes the truck will hit her.



GRANDMA: You must let this happen

TALLY: I won’t

GRANDMA: You’d truly give up everything for her wouldn’t you

TALLY: My very existence if it meant she had a chance at a life, a good one

GRANDMA: Very well



Cut to the magic box…



TARA: (Runs to Dawn and Liz, she takes the baby in her arms, that is now crying)

DAWN: (Stands up)

BUFFY: (Looks around, the almost demolished magic box) well… at least it’s still standing

WILLOW: And were still standing

ANYA: Where did you send them Willow?

WILLOW: Some demission not sure which, kind of like with the troll

XANDER: I say I don’t care just as long as their gone and no evil has taken over

DAWN: Tally come on rest times over get up (Looks at Tally laying in the rubble of what was a bookshelf) (Kneels down beside Tally)

TALLY: (Face is bloody) Dawn (Smiles)

DAWN: (Helps Tally up)

TALLY: (Looks at the magic box) Xander looks like we have to build Anya a new shop

ANYA: (Smiles) Yes then we can have another grand opening…Oh I love it (smiles)

WILLOW: I swear Anya…

ANYA: Come on lets see how much insurance money we’ll get back (Smiles)

TARA: (Smiles, as Liz starts to make giggly sounds) Someone’s hungry

TALLY: That makes two of us (Holds her head) and a little dizzy

DAWN: (Holds Tally’s hand) its ok I’ll take care of you

XANDER: (Grins) You know Tally with you I seam to be working on a lot of roofs

TALLY: Oh (mocking Anya) we’ve got all this money from the insurance, and if we improve the layout we can make even more money to plan the big wedding (grins)

XANDER: Now that’s really not funny (Laughs)

Cut to inside the Magic Box where Buffy, Willow, Anya and Dawn are stocking the shelves. We pan in the shop to see now there is an extra room marked private (for the Scooby’s) basically everything else is the same.



WILLOW: Anya how much stuff did you order

ANYA: Less talk more stocking

BUFFY: We haven’t had a break in like 2 hours

DAWN: Oh grow up

BUFFY: I am grown up thank you very much

TALLY: (Walks in with Tara who is pushing Liz in a stroller) Could’ve fooled me (smiles)

WILLOW: (Smiles) How was shopping time

TARA: Oh you know, we look…we look some more then we move on to the next store (Hugs Willow)

WILLOW: Didn’t buy me anything (Mock pouts)

TARA: Maybe you’ll just have to wait till later to see (Kisses Willow)

ANYA: For crying out loud, you’ve been married forever the honeymoon period is over

TALLY: (Hugs Dawn) Ewe you’re all sweaty

DAWN: Yeah well I’ve been working while (pokes Tally’s side) some people have been playing

ANYA: (Hands Tally a box) Well now your officially working today

ANYA: What you don’t think I’m going to have two couples going at each other while I have to work do you… I think not, I mean I’m the boss I’m the one who’s supposed to be sleeping with people in the shop…Xander not people (smiles)

TALLY: On that note I’m going to put this downstairs (Walks off)

ANYA: Yeah I need your help I’ve published the re-grand opening in ton’s of places it’s going to be huge

Cut to the basement, where Tally is looking at something then shoves it in her pocket, as she hears Dawn come down the stairs.



DAWN: Tally did you get lost down here

TALLY: No just trying to look busy (smiles)



Cut to the dinner table at Willow and Tara’s home. Tally is setting the table and getting Liz settled into her high chair. Willow is handing Tara stuff out of the fridge, Tara is cooking.



WILLOW: (Smiles at Tally playing with Liz) I can’t believe she’s going to be one next week

TARA: (Smiles) Me neither, Anya said she’s buying her a really big cake the shape of a dollar sign

WILLOW: Leave it to Anya to… (Cut off by Tara)

TARA: Come on honey you know she just cares (Nudges Willow’s arm)

WILLOW: You always take up for her…I think I may pout

TARA: Fine, then you won’t see what I bought (winks)

WILLOW: No pouting here, right as rain even (smiles)



Tally walks up to Willow and Tara



TALLY: Mom can you hand me another plate

WILLOW: (Looks confused) why

TALLY: Dawn just paged me it’s the number for her coming over

TARA: (Shakes her head) Between you and Willow you guys are going to drive me crazy with all the electronical stuff around here (grins)

TALLY: Well what can I say it’s a daughter’s duty to drive her parents crazy (smiles)

WILLOW: (Hands Tally a plate, and silverware) Well it’s working (winks)

LIZ: M...O

WILLOW: OH gosh she’s trying to say something



All three girls gather around Liz



TALLY: Tally, say Tally

WILLOW: (Playfully hits Tally’s arm) her first word will be computer (grins)

LIZ: Money

TALLY: No it’ll be Tally

TARA: Actually it’ll be money (Smirking)

WILLOW: Huh

LIZ: (Grinning) Money…. Money

WILLOW: OH god she’s possessed by Anya

TALLY: (Laughing)

WILLOW: No more babysitting with Anya



Cut to the Magic Box where Tally is helping a customer. Anya is showing another where something is.



ANYA: (Walks up to Tally after the people leave) I love this we’ve had so many sales and we’ve only been open a weeks (grins) and her first word was really money

TALLY: for the tenth time yes it was

ANYA: OH (smiling) that’s so cool, I can’t wait to see her tonight

TALLY: Anya you know your going to be a good mom someday (smiles)

ANYA: OHHHHH Bite your tongue

TALLY: Like it or not (Pats Anya on the back) You care



Cut to the birthday party, the gang is all around the table at Willow and Tara’s place. Tara is helping Liz eat some cake. Willow is by Tara, Xander and Anya are sitting across from them; Tally, Dawn and Buffy are on the other end.



TALLY: (Gets up and takes a photo of Liz eating cake) She’s so cute

WILLOW: Your going to mess up your new camera

TALLY: No I’m not besides it’s not like she’s going to mess it up (Looks at Liz) I mean…

LIZ: (about that time throws a gob of cake at Anya)



Everyone burst out laughing, Tally gets a photo of a cake covered Anya



ANYA: Ok No money for you!!



Willow and Tara are now helping Liz open presents from the gang.

TARA: (Opens the one from Buffy, it’s a stuffed duck in a rain coat) (smiles, hands it to Liz how hugs it) Thanks Buffy

BUFFY: Well I figured Ducks were about the least scariest thing (smiles)

WILLOW: And in a little rain coat to cute (smiles)

TARA: Honey it’s for Liz (winks)

WILLOW: (Gets the one from Xander and Anya and opens, It’s a piggy bank) (half grins)

ANYA: (Smiles) Well she’s not too young to start saving, I mean her first word was money (grins)

WILLOW: Thanks guys (smiles)

TARA: (Gets present from Dawn and Tally) (she opens it up, and see’s a photo album)

TALLY: Dawn helped me; it’s photos of all of us from the time you were pregnant to now well two days ago anyways (smiles) I figured she could add to it each year

TARA: (Smiles) That’s so sweet Tally come here (opens her arms up and Hugs Tally)

WILLOW: (Hugs Tally to) She’s lucky to have you for a big sister (smiles)



Cut to the beach where Tally and Dawn are looking out at the water, (night time)



DAWN: Are you sure it’s safe to be here

TALLY: Relax I put a protection spell around where good to be here all night (winks)

DAWN: All night huh (Smiles, kisses Tally)

TALLY: Besides where not going to be outside all night

DAWN: (little confused) huh?

TALLY: Baby, I know the last few months I’ve put you through hell…(cut off by Dawn)

DAWN: Tally it’s over were together that’s all that matters

TALLY: (Touches Dawn’s face) I feel stronger when you with me, when we were apart I about lost my mind, you where the reason I had the will to walk again

DAWN: (Hugs Tally) I’ll always be here for you I promise

TALLY: Come on lets go (Tugs at Dawns hand)

DAWN: (Looks back) the jeep’s that way

TALLY: (Smiles) I know (Pulls out a blindfold) Here

DAWN: Ok you’ve been with Anya too much

TALLY: Just humor me (smiles)

DAWN: Fine

TALLY: (Puts blindfold on Dawn’s face)



Tally leads Dawn to a beach house, they make their way inside, it’s decorated in a dance style, and lights are hug up everywhere. Theirs a pallet in the living room set up.



TALLY: (Takes the Blindfold off of Dawn) Happy Anniversary baby

DAWN: (Looks around) where are we

TALLY: I rented this place for the weekend (Smiles)

DAWN: (Kisses Tally) Wow

TALLY: (Takes Dawn’s hand) Baby before you I was lost, nothing made since to me, and then you ran into me (grins) from that moment I knew where I was supposed to be. Nothing can ever happen that’s strong enough to keep us apart, (Stops)

DAWN: (worried) Tally…

TALLY: Dawn I’m trying to… I’m trying to say that I love you with all my heart and nothing would make me happier then for you to marry me

DAWN: (Tears in her eyes) Your serious?

TALLY: Very (Pulls the thing she was looking at in the magic box out, and opens it up to show an emerald green ring) So what’ do you say

DAWN: I say yes (starts to cry)

TALLY: Ok then (Smiles) (Puts the ring on Dawn’s hand)

DAWN: I love you

TALLY: I love you to baby

DAWN: (Hugs Tally then kisses her)

TALLY: (Walks over to the stereo and switches music on) (Walks back over to Dawn, and kisses her as the music starts)



Maybe tonight

We could close the door and lock ourselves inside

I don't want to miss the chance to be so real

The days all fly away and I forget the truth

Everything that matters is in this room



TALLY: (Takes Dawn’s shirt off and kisses her neck)

DAWN: (Pulls Tally’s shirt off)

TALLY: (Lays Dawn on the pallet in the floor, starts kissing her)

DAWN: (Unbuttons Tally’s pants) (rolls on top of Tally, and slides her pants off)

DAWN: I love you to (Kisses Tally) (runs her hands through Tally’s hair)

TALLY: (Puts a trail of kisses to Dawn’s stomach)

TALLY: (Takes off Dawn’s pants, while kissing her legs in the process)

DAWN: ohhh (grins)

TALLY: The most beautiful creature to ever be made

DAWN: (Smiles) Just trying to get me into bed I bet

TALLY: I already have you in bed (Kisses Dawn)

DAWN: (grins) oh yeah (Kisses Tally)

TALLY: Keep it up I’m not going to want to get up

DAWN: Um do I see a problem with this

Oh wow, God, can I say I love you?????Cause I kinda do, this story is so wonderful, cant wait for the next update. But, hopefully there's no secret badness waiting to happen from when Tally came back.......
