Summary: This is an AU fic, taken place 100 years later... Year 2103. The "Scoobie" gang are faced with surprises and confusion along the way, trying to figure who they are, and where they came from...allowing a love between two witches ignite the loss of memories and new discoveries...



Chapter 11



Buffy sat up quickly and looked around.



Closing her eyes she waited for her head to clear. When she opened her eyes again she noticed that everyone had come too. She smiled as she watched Willow fuss over Tara.



"Willow, is she all right?" Buffy asked.



Looking up Willow smiled at Buffy, "hey how do you feel? Tara will be fine, she's going to be out for a while though, she's drained of all her power and energy."



"I'm all right Willow, thanks. I'm just me ya know," Buffy said.



"Buffy," Dawn squeaked as she jumped into her sisters arms.



Laughing Buffy squeezed Dawn tightly. "I take it you're all right."



"Me, I'm better then all right, the Scooby gang is back!" Dawn said happily, letting go of her sister.



Giles had come up beside Buffy and Dawn, "Willow, why don't you let Buffy help you get Tara to bed. The rest of us will just go over what we know until Tara is well enough to tell us about her plan," he said.



"Buffy, would you please?" Willow asked.



"Sure. Is that why I'm your best friend, so I can use my slayer strength to carry your girlfriend for you?" Buffy jokingly smirked.



Laughing Willow followed Buffy to the guest room. "No, but it is nice," she grinned.



Buffy laid Tara gently on the bed and turned towards the door to leave.



"Buffy?"



"Yes Willow?" Buffy turned to face her.



"It really is nice to have my best friend back," Willow said smiling at her.



Buffy walked back to Willow and pulled her into a tight embrace. "It's nice to have my best friend back too."



"I hope Giles has something on Mahika this time. But then again, even if we had been prepared last time, we still wouldn't have won... Tara's the key. You take good care of her Willow," Buffy said as she walked to the door.



"Buffy, don't do anything until Tara wakes up, please! She has a really good idea on how to get Faith out of there without any of us having to go there. Especially you, you know she needs both slayers to over power the innocent one. Trust in her Buffy, she's been given to us by a Goddess, she is a Goddess," Willow said, pulling the blankets up over Tara.



"All right Willow, I'll wait for her, I know that she's special and that she knows what she's doing. Faith is a part of me, I have to get her back. She's been beaten badly, I can feel it all over my body, and she's scared. So come get me as soon as Tara is awake, please?" Buffy asked.



"Yes, of course I will. She wants to get Faith back too, Buff," Willow said.



"Okay Wills."



Closing the door behind her, Buffy went to talk to Giles and the others. "Hey, everything okay?" she asked Dawn.



"Yeah, Xander went outside when Spike got here, but I think it's just cuz he misses Anya," Dawn told her sister.



"Spike is back already. I guess everyone but Anya is here then. I'll go check on Xander before I talk to Giles," Buffy said as she started for the front door.



"No Buffy it's fine, I'll take care of him," Anya said, appearing between Buffy and the door. "He doesn't need you right now, he needs me and lots of orgasms," she said as she closed the door behind her.



"Don't you love how she does that?" Dawn asked her sister.





"Come on, Giles started the coffee, it should be done by now. Lets get some and see what Giles can tell us while we wait for Tara to come around.

Chapter 12





While Willow and Tara remained slumbering, regaining some much needed strength. The remainder of the scoobies headed to the magic box to begin research.

"I can't just sit here and do nothing Giles. Not while Faith is out there." Buffy said as she slammed a book down on the table.



"Research is not nothing Buffy, we need to know what we're up against and how we can fight it." Dawn told her sister.



"I know Dawn, but that's you and Willow's specialty, I'm more of an action girl." Buffy said pacing the Magic Box nervously.



"Buffy, have a seat, I know it's hard with Faith out there, but there's nothing you can do right now. Help us with the research until Willow and Tara arrive and then we'll see what they think we should do next."

Giles told her handing her a book.



"We can have Willow check the internet when she gets here, maybe there's something on there about Mahika." Dawn said.



"Hey... hey.. Wait, I think I’ve got something here... well, I mean maybe I do." Xander said jumping up, he handed the old worn book he'd been reading to Giles.



"Ah yes, this is it, good work Xander." Giles said as he set the book down so everyone could see it.



Looking over Giles shoulder Dawn got upset. "We're going to die Giles. We can't stop her."



"What... No, why?" Buffy asked jumping up from her seat.



"Mahika is half God. It says that she can only be killed by a God or Goddess of pure heart." Dawn told them slumping down in a chair.



"There has to be another way." Buffy yelled showing how frustrated she was.



"Buffy, calm down," Willow said walking into the Magic Box with Tara. "If we couldn't do this, we wouldn't have been brought back like this. We know it has something to do with Tara," Willow said squeezing Tara's hand. "So that's a start."



Sitting down at the table Willow booted up her laptop and began a search. Sitting beside Willow, Tara closed her eyes and cleared her mind.







Opening her eyes Tara stood up and addressed Buffy, "Buffy, can you feel Faith's essence?" she asked.



"Yes, but only faintly since the last time she was attacked." Buffy said.



"I think you need to patrol now, go to the park, there's something there you need to find, but take caution, things will not be as they seem." Tara told her.



"What am I looking for Tara?" Buffy asked.



"You'll know when you see it, just remember be cautious, it's not going to be what it seems. Spike, go with her, she'll need your help." Tara told him.



"Tara honey, what do you feel?" Willow asked her turning away from the screen.



"It's time to make our move on Mahika, she thinks she's set a trap for us. So we're going to use that against her." Tara said matter-of-factly.







Walking through the park Buffy was getting more and more frustrated with every step. "Where is it, Tara said I'd know it when I saw it, but I don't see anything." she said.



"You want to patrol the cemetery and then circle back around to the park?" Spike asked.



"Well at least I'll get to kill something then, but Tara said I'm supposed to find something." Buffy said.



As they rounded a group of trees, Buffy spotted a group of Vampires. She and Spike headed towards them, Buffy realized they were kicking something or someone. Laughing and cheering each other on, they didn't hear Buffy approach.



"Hey, fang boy, did you start the party without me?" she snapped.



The vampires stopped and looked at her. Smiling in her direction, they forgot about beating on their victim and turned towards her as she quickly closed the gap between them. Buffy drove her stake into the heart of the closest vampire without even slowing her pace. She was already on her way to the next two vampires when he faded into a cloud of dust. Pushing the stake quickly and expertly into her back pocket, Buffy grabbed the heads of the two vampires and pulled hard. Caught off guard, they both flew backwards and landed at Spikes feet. Reaching down Spike staked them following Buffy as the two vamps faded into the night.



"It's Faith." Buffy yelled as she staked a female vampire that was just about to pounce on her.



"Buffy wait, remember what Tara said. She said it's not what it seems to be." Spike yelled back at her as he staked the last three vamps that stood between him and Buffy. Buffy scooped Faith up and headed for Giles apartment.



"Buffy wait, what are you going to do?" Spike yelled after her.



"I'm taking her to Giles, go to the Magic Box and get the others." She told him.



Turning around Spike ran for the Magic Box.







Mahika's two Vampires threw Faith back in the cramped room and slammed the metal door closed. Sitting up, Faith rested her back against the damp wall as she checked her wounds. Wincing in pain at the gashes on her stomach, she closed her eyes. The instant she relaxed she felt a sudden jolt of knowledge hit her and then she passed out. Several minutes went by and then

Faith came to, once again she found herself on the cold wet floor. Sitting up she knew that the witches had pulled it off and she and the others had their memory back. Jumping to her feet she realized that this meant the others would come for her soon. If only they didn't get caught up in Mahika's trap. She could feel Buffy's essence, it was strong within her.























Faith slumped down against the wall.









Buffy yanked open Giles door and quickly laid Faith down on his couch.

She grabbed the first aid kit and began cleaning her love up. Ringing out the bloody rag she thought she heard Faith calling out to her mind. She checked again to make sure that Faith was alive. Positive that Faith was breathing, she began cleaning up the bloody rags.







Buffy dropped the rags when Faiths thoughts invaded her mind.























Buffy slumped down on the couch when she lost her connection with her lover.

Chapter 13





"Buffy, get away from her." Tara said as she and the others walked in Giles front door.



Buffy looked up from her position on the couch, still upset that Faiths connection to her had been lost.



"Get away from her Buffy." Tara said again.



"I know." Buffy said as she left the couch to stand by Tara.



"You know, how do you know Buffy?" Willow asked.



"Faith told me, she got her memories back, our connection is stronger then ever now, but she's passed out from loss of blood. Willow we have to find her, she's going to die." Buffy said walking to her best friends side.



Sitting up on the couch the imposter Faith looked lovingly at Buffy. "Buffy, it is me. Don't listen to them, you know it's me."



Buffy shook her head. "That won't work, I know my Faith, and you, are not her."



As the imposter Faith jumped up off the couch intending to run out the door. Willow and Tara's hands shot forward in the imposters direction. At the same time Spike flew to the door to stop an attempt it might make to get out. A silver beam of magic now bound it as it shimmered and transformed into it's short demon self. It was a short fanged demon with razor sharp claws.



"Rakshasa." Willow and Buffy mumbled.



"Yes, Mahika summoned them, she has control of them now." Ravana is to be her distraction for us while she does the ritual to raise her father." Tara told them.



"Tara, we can't defeat them all." Buffy said.



"We won't have to. We'll make sure she is unsuccessful in raising her father. Then we'll only have Ravana and her to deal with." Tara said as she left the living room.



"Hey, where's she going." Buffy asked Willow.



Shrugging her shoulders at Buffy she called out to Tara with her mind.







Tara told her with her mind as she walked back into the living room.



"Okay Buffy, it's time to get your girl back. With out you and Faith Mahika can't raise her father." Tara said as she placed two white candles on the table by the bound Rakshasa.



"Okay, lets go then." Buffy said as she headed for the door.



"No, Buffy, Tara has another way. We can't risk you getting that close to Mahika, she needs you both to raise the first. Just watch, Tara will get her back for you." Willow said.



Tara closed her eyes and held her right hand out toward the candles. Both candles sparked, then leapt to life with a brilliant silver flame.



"It's time, Willow," Tara said as she looked over at her lover, "you ready?"

"Yeah." Willow said stepping up and taking Tara's hand.



Closing their eyes they recited the spell as they held their free hand out toward the Rakshasa.



"Open your mind, give me control.

Gone from you, is your will and right.

Open your mind, let me take hold.

Accept my bidding, do as I command of you."



They opened their eyes but didn't drop each others hand. Stepping away they released the bind on the Rakshasa.



"Hey, what are you doing?" Anya blurted out before she could stop herself.



Willow whipped her head around and glared at Anya,"Shhh."



Turning back to the Rakshasa they lifted their hands again, "Mahika," is all they said.



Everyone watched in astonishment as the Rakshasa shape shifted into Mahika.



"Bring Faith to us." Tara said.



The Rakshasa left the apartment.

Chapter 14



As the sun retired, and the moon began its journey through the night’s sky. A long day, now reached its ending hour. Thoughts of sleep began entering the minds of the scooby gang. As they left their separate ways, exhausted and emotionally drained, each scuffled there feet along the ground. As all lights turned off, one light remained, faintly coming from the candles burning in the room of Willow and Tara. Yet they were indeed exhausted just as the others, they had still an ounce of fight within them. Tara turned down the bed and began to fluff her pillow. Willow tip toed to the door and gently put her ear to it. She heard no movement in the hall. A sigh left her mouth, , she turned slowly, and watched Tara with her loving eyes, her heart melts every time she looks at her. Like a new love that never grows old. Willow strode over to meet Tara slowly as she unbuttoned her own blouse.



"Tara sweetie, are you terribly tired?" Willow asked her seductively.



Tara was standing with her back to Willow; she was unaware that her lover had begun to undress her in her mind.



"I'm exhausted." Tara said.



Willow reached out and touched her soul mate, she gently placed her hands on Tara's shoulders, and Tara leaned her head back and moaned lightly at Willow's touch. Willow brought her hands around to Tara's sides and down to her hips; she turned Tara around to face her.



"Oh, but I'm never to tired to love you, my Willow." Tara said as she was turned to face Willow.



As their eyes met, their emotions grew stronger. Willow brushed Tara's cheek with the tips of her fingers, toying with the thought of getting closer, to steal yet another passionate kiss.



"Tara, you are so beautiful." Willow said, as she breathed in and moved closer still, placing her lips softly on Tara's.



With every ounce of love inside of her Willow kissed Tara gently. She felt the passion increase with the feeling of tender moist lips that bring her home every night. They kiss every time, as if it were the first of many. Tara now felt Willows warmth, felt the blood rush through her veins with such force, as though taking her first breath of life. Willow slowly moved Tara towards the bed, lying her down ever so lightly; she began to unbutton Tara's pants as she moved her lips about her lovers stomach. One hand wondered under Tara's shirt just below her bra line. Pulling at Tara's pants, she freed them from her hips, and on down her legs. Tara sat up and pulled Willow on top of her, hungrily kissing her, she eased Willow's already unbuttoned blouse off her shoulders and tossed it to the floor. Willow's skin was so soft and warm Tara could not wait to feel it against her own. Tara finished undressing willow, piece by piece, as well as removing her own remaining clothing. Tara rolled her lover over, exposing her naked body. She looked Willow over as if she'd never been here before, every moment like new. Tara leaned down and placed her lips over Willow's nipple, a gentle kiss, a teasing flick, and then playfully biting down. Willow's back arched, her face tilted toward the ceiling, she let out a quick invigorating moan. Tara slowly moved herself further along Willow's body, her hand gliding along the inside of her thigh and towards the center of Willow's desire.



As Tara's hand reached her secret place Willow cried out, "Goddess Tara, I need to feel you now... inside"



Tara slowly glided one, and then two fingers inside Willow's moist warmth, moving slowly and softly inside Willow's slick folds. As Willow's heart began to beat rapidly, Tara moved faster and with more force. Willow gripped the sheet on each side of her, clutched in her hands; she pulled tighter as she neared the moment where all emotion combines. Tara lost in Willow's eyes; saw every pleasurable emotion played out on Willow's beautiful features.

Willow began to slow, As she cried out in completion, "Oohhhh Goddess My Taraaaaaa...”

Not a second went by before Willow was reaching for Tara once again, pulling her lover close, Willow kissed her lips and teased her tongue with her own. She propped Tara up, hovering above her, spreading Tara's legs. Willow settled in between Tara's legs and wrapped them around her body. She leaned down and placed her lips over Tara's, with gentle brushes of passion. She slowly moved to Tara's neck and along her shoulders and collarbone, leaving a trail of love through out her body. Willow moved down further, kissing Tara's thighs and along her hips. She brought herself forward brushing her sensitive breasts between Tara’s legs.



"Oh Goddess Willow, pleaseeeee." Tara gasps, impatiently begging for more.



Willow lowered herself to taste Tara's wetness, a slight notion as she moved closer to Tara's love. Willow began to flick Tara's clit with the tip of her tongue.



Bringing all of Tara to her lips, "I love how sweet you taste," Willow mumbled before dipping her head down and taking Tara with her tongue and lips.



Willow moved a little faster as Tara began to rock her hips with willows every movement. Tara reached down and brushed Willow's hair aside to see her eyes,



"You know I love to look into your eyes baby," Tara told Willow as the door flew open and Xander burst in.



"Willow, do you know..... Great googly moogly Willow.... " Xander yelled as he turned around shocked.



"Oh mental pictures I will never get out of my head. Sorry, so sorry... go back to what you were doing." He said as he closed the door behind him and ran to his sleeping bag.



Xander jumped in his sleeping bag and covered his face.







"Xander, did you walk in on Willow and Tara again?" Dawn asked noticing Xander was embarrassed.



"Hey, how was I supposed to know, I mean this is not the time for sex capades.”? He said.



"Are you kidding me, you know that's how Willow and Tara connect, and you know they've always been sex crazy." Dawn said lying her head back down. "Go to sleep, let them connect."



"Oh, like I can sleep now, do you know what mental pictures are going through my head right now?" Xander said covering his face again.

Tara quickly grabbed the sheet and pulled it up over willow and around her. She grabbed Willow's pillow and covered her blushing face in frustration. Willow crawled up the bed along Tara's naked body, beneath the sheet, and came to rest beside her.



"Uh-uh-uh." Willow said trying to uncover Tara's face. "No hiding sweetie."



"Hummm ummmph phummph." Tara mumbled from under the pillow.



Laughing Willow gently removed the pillow from her lovers face. "Don't hide your beautiful face from me."



"Why does that always happen?” Tara asked shaking her head.



"I guess we're just lucky." Willow said laughing again. "Aw baby, I'm sorry." Willow said noticing how frustrated Tara was. "I'll see if Giles will let me put a lock on the door tomorrow." Willow told her as she lovingly ran her finger tips along Tara's jaw line.



"Exstinguo." Tara said with a wave of her hand.



The sliver flames on the candles went out and Tara drifted off to sleep in Willow's loving embrace.

I bet Giles will allow a lock at their door, i doubt that he wants to be around a "horny" Xander all the time
