I'm sorry I took so long to update ...but my stay at hospital was longer than I thought...



Anyway, I'm finally back home and, as I promised, here you are a little update...I really hope it's worth the wait!

Previously, on FINDING HOME...



"Now, we're going to have a serious talk about your behaviour, young lady," said Tara's father, turning to face her daughter when they got to the living room, his face hardening.



'I really shouldn't have come,' Tara thought, recognising instanly what her father's expression meant: trouble...

Tara was standing right in front of her father, trying to get enough courage to tell him that she was old enough to do as she pleased and then leave but, remembering how this ‘talks’ with her father ended, she trembled...fear overpowering her senses and body.



Her father, seeing Tara in that state, did what he did best:



“You really thought I was going to let you go? And do what you wanted just ‘cause you aren’t in my home anymore? You are wrong, Tara...you’re still my daughter, and you’ll do as I bid!” said her father, his voice raising with his anger.



Suddenly feeling really angered, Tara responded:



“And you think that what you want me for is okay? Telling me everything’s my fault...beating me up every time you feel like it?!”



This time, Tara’s father didn’t said a thing...instead he raised his fist and hit her hard accross the jaw, knocking her backwards.



Momentarily stunned, Tara lifted her hand towards her face, feeling her lips...he had split her lip. And she knew that wouldn’t be the last strike before the evening was over...

Two days later, Tara was back in the same taxi that had taken her back to her father’s house...



'Goddess, I swear I didn't know what to do to get outta there,' Tara thought 'I guess I'm really lucky he got drunk last night and was sleeping right now.'



Automatically, her thoughts drifted from her father to returning back to U.C. Sunnydale...to finally seeing Willow...



'My Willow...I really missed you! I can't hardly wait to see those emerald green of hers...wait, did I just called her "my Willow"? Stop daydreaming right now, Maclay!'



Meanwhile, the taxi had finally arrived to its destination. Tara got out from the car and headed straight towards her dorm room...towards Willow.

Willow was looking through the window, finally seeing Tara crossing the campus towards the building where their dorm was...



'She's here!' thought Willow 'Let's see...everything's right in place, as it should be...'



The door to her room creaked a little and then opened, and Tara came in.



“Oh...h-hi, W-willow...” Tara said, smiling a radiant smile on the redhead’s direction, her heart filled with joy at finally seeing Willow.



“Hi Tara!” Willow answered, going over to leave a sweet welcome kiss on Tara’s cheek and help her with her bag “How did your visit home go?”



Tara, who was rooted in place after the feeling of those soft lips on her cheek, stiffened when Willow mentioned her home....no, not her home...that wasn’t her home anymore. It was her father’s house.



“I-it w-went o-okay...” Tara stuttered.



Willow, on her part, was busy seeing how Tara reacted to her actions...



“Here, let me help you with that,” said the redhead, taking Tara’s bag and lowering it to the floor, next to the blonde’s bed.



“Thanks,” said Tara, still a little dazed with the kiss Willow had given her...





'Oh goddess,' thought Tara, walking to sit on the edge of her bed 'one simple kiss...and on the cheek I might add...and it's having this effect on me??? Then I wonder what would happen if she kisses my lips....mmmmm......snap out of it, Maclay! That's never gonna happen and you know



Sighing, Willow turned towards Tara, taking in the blonde’s beauty once again....her hair, her face, her lips, her eyes....and just like that she knew that Tara meant much more than just a crush to her...it was something deeper...



Going over to Tara’s bed, Willow sat right next to the blonde, putting her hand on her friend’s thigh and whispering:



“Hey...what’s wrong, Tare? You seem kind of distant...”



Tara, who had been lost in her own thoughts, startled at the touch of Willow’s hand and the sound of her voice...



“Huh?” Tara muttered, that being the best thing she could come up with given the circunstances, and she lifted her eyes to her friend’s face...



'Those emerald green...' she thought 'she's just so beautiful! All of her is just gorgeous...what would she want with me? I do have to stop dreaming and having false hopes...'



“I asked wha- wait a minute,” said Willow, lifting Tara’s face and cocking her head, examining Tara’s lower lip “you have a split lip....what happened, Tare?”



“N-nothing....” said Tara, mentally cursing her stutter “i-it’s j-just that I-I’m r-really c-clumsy...”



“Does it hurt?” asked Willow, her voice lowering and her index finger tracing Tara’s bottom lip, just where the small cute was...



“I-I.....ummm....” Tara tried to form an answer, but she was completely lost in the feeling of Willow’s soft touch and her deep green eyes, which were fixed on her lips...



'You've got her right where you wanted her, Rosenberg,' she thought to herself 'and now it's one of those moments when actions speak louder than words...'



Willow’s thoughts trailed off as she got closer to the lips she wanted to kiss ever since the first minute she saw the blonde. Finally closing the distance between her lips and those she adored so much, Willow replaced her finger with her mouth, moving her hand to Tara’s cheek...brushing Tara’s lips softly with her own.



Pulling back just a little to give Tara some space, this time it was the blonde the one who brushed Willow’s lips, sucking slightly the redhead’s bottom lip...



After a few seconds, both of them broke the kiss, looking into each other eyes...seeking rejection, but they only found acceptance...



Leaning once again towards Tara, Willow kept her eyes open ‘till her lips brushed Tara’s again. Bringing her hand to the back of Tara’s neck, Willow began massaging it slowly, finally closing her eyes and deepening their kiss...

Sorry I took so long to post an update, but I've been having a rough time....which I'm glad it's over



First of all I wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful feedback you'd been leaving me, you all are just wonderful I promise next time I'll do individual replies



And now....well, I finally have a little update....I really hope you all like it!

Previously, on FINDING HOME...



Leaning once again towards Tara, Willow kept her eyes open 'till her lips brushed Tara's again. Bringing her hand to the back of Tara's neck, Willow began massaging it slowly, finally closing her eyes and deepening their kiss...

Tara lost herself in the kiss both her and Willow where sharing, it seemed like only herself, Willow and the kiss existed.



Suddenly realizing what she was doing, Tara gasped and broke the kiss:



“Oh, G-Goddess....I-I’m really sorry, W-Willow....” the blonde stuttered, starting to get up from her bed.



Willow, still a little dazed ‘cause of the effect that the kiss had had on her, looked at Tara questioningly:



“Huh? What?” she managed to say.



“I-I’m so s-sorry, Willow....p-please forgive m-me....” the blonde said, running towards the door of their room and leaving Willow still sitting in her bed, wondering what had happened.



Finally coming back to her senses, the redhead shouted:



“Tara! Wait!”



going to the door and seeing that Tara was nowhere in sight, Willow went in search of her roommate....



'What in hell just happened?!?' thought the redhead, exiting the building where their room was and crossing the campus, all the time looking for Tara 'We were kissing....and then she just left, saying she was sorry....wonder what she was sorry for?'



Suddenly realizing what Tara must be thinking, Willow started towards the far end of the campus, where she thought the blonde might be.



'Of course!' Willow thought 'I'm sure she thinks I didn't want to kiss her and she believes I'm mad at her or something....at least that would be what I'd be thinking in her situation....and that was why she was asking me to forgive her! Goddess, Rosenberg, you can be so thick sometimes! I have to convince her I do wanted....and want to kiss her....' the redhead’s thoughts trailed off as she neared the place where she was going, seeing Tara sitting, her back leaning on a tree, head thrown back and eyes closed, her legs crossed and her hands resting on her lap....

Tara, not knowing where to go after leaving their room, started running through the campus, finally reaching its far end....



Once she saw she had gone as far as she could, she stopped running, looking around her, her chest heaving with the deep breaths she was taking....



'This must be the place some of the students talk about....' thought Tara to herself 'yep, it has to be....far end of the campus....quiet and calm place....lots of trees....yep, this must be it.'.



Feeling a little light-headed after the dash she had just taken through the whole campus (which wasn’t really small), Tara went over to a tree and sat down, leaning her back against it, crossing her legs and laying her hands on her lap....



'I still can't believe I just kissed her! She must be really mad at you, you idiot! Why did you do it?' Tara berated herself, all the while intently looking at her hands in disbelief 'How are you going to explain what you did now, Maclay?'.



Closing her eyes just a moment, Tara remembered the soft touch of Willow’s lips on hers....so soft and sweet....



Without realizing it, Tara touched her lips with her hand, just where Willow’s lips had been....



'Maybe it would be best if I told her?' she asked herself, finally opening her eyes 'Maybe, just maybe, she feels the same....after all, she did kiss me too....I mean, I wasn't the only one kissing....'



Frustrated at not knowing what to do or think, Tara leaned her head back against the tree, hitting it softly and repeatedly, finally resting her head against it, sighing deeply and closing her eyes yet again....



A few seconds later, feeling someone taking her hands, Tara’s eyes snapped open: it was Willow....

Willow had finally decided to act and then talk....she didn’t want Tara running away again....



Leaning down, she took Tara’s hands in her own, starting the blonde out of her reverie. Straddling her roommate’s lap, Willow guided Tara’s hand to her hips, holding them there with with her own.



“W-Willow?” asked Tara, confused “W-What are y-you-“



“Ssshhh,” Willow hushed Tara, cutting her off, putting her index finger on the blonde’s lips “Tara, about earlier....well, I just wanted to-“



“I-I know,” this time it was Tara the one cutting her off “a-and I’m really s-sorry-“



Willow, seeing where the blonde was heading, wanted to reassure Tara, make her believe it was okay with her....more than okay in fact, so she did what she thought would be more convincing....she kissed her.



Tara stiffened at first, but, after a few seconds of having Willow slowly and softly massaging her lips with hers, she surrendered to the kiss.



After a few minutes, both girls pulled apart from each other’s lips, taking much needed air into their lungs. Tara was the first to break the silence:



“S-So....ummmmm....y-you’re okay with t-this, W-willow?” asked the blonde, still not wanting to believe that someone as wonderful and beautiful as Willow had just kissed her.



“You mean you couldn’t tell?” smiled Willow warmly, looking into Tara’s deep blue eyes and tucking a strand of hair behind the blonde’s ear “’Cause I certainly can show you again....” she continued, arching an eyebrow and smiling seductively....



“Oh yes,” said Tara, bringing her lips to Willow’s for another kiss.
