Chapter 10



About three weeks later. Willow and Tara are inseperable. They had spent every day and night together. Well night, anyway. Considering classes had started. They were stuck to eachother like glue, and glue felt pretty good.



Both Willow and Tara had classes all that day. That discouraged them both. But it made the day bareable, knowing they’d see eachother soon.



After the end of Tara’s last class, she exited, books in hand. She was walking for a minute then spotted one of her friends. “Hey Rachel.”



“Hey Tar. Where’s this girl I’ve been hearing about.”



“In class. We’re going out to dinner later though.”



“Great. So is she pretty?”



“Is who pretty?” Asked a giddy redhead as she approached Tara and a girl she didn’t recognize. She wrapped her arm around Tara’s waist.



“Gorgeous.” Tara sighed smiling, as she continuously stared at Willow.



“Who?” Willow interrogated.



“My boyfriend that I don’t have.”



“That’s code for me right? Yes!” Willow screamed in triumph. Putting her hand in a fist and raising it into the air, then pulling it down beside her hip.



Tara giggle quietly at her gir… Willow. At Willow she stared. “Will, this is Rachel.” Tara said as Willow reached her hand forward to shake Rachel’s. “Rachel this is my….” Tara hesitated, she really didn’t know what to say.



“I’m Tara’s girlfriend, Willow.”



“Its nice to meet you.” Rachel said glancing at Tara, who was smiling gorgeously. “Ive actually got class. Tara call me later, maybe we can all get together soon. Jack’s been bugging me.”



“Me too! We need to get that guy some friends.” Tara said jokingly.



Rachel exited and Tara automatically turned to Willow.



“Hello beautiful.” Tara said hugging Wil.. her girlfriend.



“That’s all the hello I get? What happened to…”

Willow was cut off by Tara’s lips on her own. The kiss was more hurried than the rest, but still filled with so much emotion. Willow felt her knees start to give way. But as if on cue, Tara’s arm came around her side and wrapped itself around Willow’s back. “That.” She said as her eyes fluttered open.



“My brother actually wanted me to go out with him for dinner. I told him I already had plans with you. He just said to bring you. Do you mind?”



“Jack? The brother you speak all the time of?”



“I speak about you more. But it would get kind of awkward if everything we talked about was you.”



“Well, you obviously have no idea how much I speak of you.”



Tara ducked her head down. And began to blush.



“Ah! I win.” Willow cried out happily as she pointed at Tara.



“No you didn’t. That doesn’t count!”



“Why not? I won fair and square Maclay.”



“Fine. What is my penance?” Tara sighed in mock defeat.



“Four kissed. And dinner on you.”



“That’s it? I had that planned already. But only four kisses? I had almost 30 penciled in.” Tara said as she flipped through her imaginary date book.



“I can deal with that.”



Willow leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on Tara’s lips. Their eyes were open, and locked. Willow pulled back and Tara decided that wasn’t enough. So she leaned back into the kiss, her eyes closed and her lips and tongue moving frantically to keep up with the redheads.



“Dinner?” Willow asked breathlessly.



“Yeah.” Tara sighed as she clasped her hands into Willow’s and the two began to walk off campus to stop at each of their dorms. Every so often stealing a glance at the other, then looking back down at the floor, or their clasped hands.

I know this is too soon for an update. But I don’t know what just came over me. So here you go. Don’t complain if its horrible. Its almost midnight here…

Chapter 11.





Willow and Tara reached the restaurant soon after, but the walk over was silent. Both of them had thoughts in their heads they couldn’t avoid.



Tara, on one hand was reveling in the fact that Willow had called her her girlfriend. She was extremely excited. But, when Willow said that, Tara noticed a feeling inside of her that she hadnt even guessed was there. She didn’t know what it was. But in a way she did. The blonde always knew, from the first day she met Willow, she knew. But this, this was different. A new type of this emotion. A deeper, more emotional emotion. Was Tara falling in love with Willow?



Willow on the other hand, was only thinking about what Tara was thinking. She wanted to know if calling Tara her girlfriend was a step too far. Or if it was a perfect step, or if she should back track. Or if she should even mention it to Tara. She didn’t mean to cross any boundaries, but it felt like the right thing to say. It felt so right to say.

The redhead desperately wanted to be the one Tara came home to. And the one she called when she was happy, upset or even just plain bored. Willow wanted to be ‘that person’ for Tara. She wanted it more than anything.



“Here we are.” Tara said distracing Willow from her thoughts.



“Yep.”



Willow grasped Tara’s hand into both of her’s and brought it up to her face and kissed the back of the blonde’s palm. She turned to face Tara, locking their eyes. Willow was searching for something. Hell, she was searching for anything.



“Will, I…” Tara started, but was cut off.



“Tara!” Jack cried out in pure enthousiasm.



“Jack…” Tara sighed as she squeezed Willow’s hand with her own. “Jack. This is Willow.” She said gesturing from Jack to Willow. “Willow, this is Jack.”



“Its nice to meet you.” Jack said to Willow as he reached his hand out to shake the redheads. She released Tara’s hands and shook the blone boy’s hand. Jack turned to Tara. “Is this…”



“My girlfriend? Yeah.” Tara smiled. “She is.” The blonde said, realizing how good it felt to say, as she wrapped an arm around Willow’s waist.



“Then, on that note. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Jack said, shaking Willow’s hand again before releasing it.



Willow looked at Tara, the blonde’s gorgeous blue eyes were sparkling in pure joy and happiness. And a smile was plastered to her face. I did that. I made that happen. God, does she know how much she means to me?



“The tables this way. I want you to meet my girlfriend.” Jack gestured towards the back room of the restaurant. The two girls followed Jack. But Willow stopped dead in her tracks.



“Perfect.” She mummbled.



“Willow, Tara this is my girlfriend, Cordelia.” Jack said as he glanced over at Cordelia.



“Willow.” Cordy said, nodding her head one time. Seemed like an appropriate hello.



“Cordy.” Willow stated simply. “Cordy, this is Tara, my girlfriend.”



“And Cordelia, this is my sister Tara.” Jack also stated, gesturing at Tara. “Small world, huh?”



“Yeah. Willow’s my roommate. I only see her like every four days though.” Cordy laughed.



Willow blushed a crimson red as Jack looked at her with his eyes almost protruding from his head. He looked at Willow then Tara. “No! Not like that! Not that I wouldn’t. Not that I think about it! Not that I don’t though! Tara and I, we havent. But I’m not saying it wont happen. I’m just saying; don’t think its like that, cuz its not. Because I respect your sister with every bit of me. And I wouldn’t… push.” Willow inhaled a huge gulp of air and watched Jack’s reaction and Tara’s.



Before Jack or Willow could speak, Willow found her lips smashed against Tara’s as the blonde grabbed Willow’s cheeks and pulled her into a firey kiss.



“Good to know.” Jack smiled as he sat down in his chair next to Cordy.



Willow released herself from Tara’s grasp and moved to her left, to pull Tara’s chair out for her. As Tara sat down Willow lent down and whispered in her ear, “Well, that was a great first impression!”

Chapter 12



Dinner went by without another hitch. Smoothly, even. Tara and Jack split the check, rewarding kisses and love from their partners.



They were outside the restaurant and Willow and Cordy were in front of it and Tara and Jack were talking over by Jack’s car.



Willow kept looking over at them, but still trying to seem interested in what Cordelia was saying.



“So then we spent every waking moment together. That’s why I havent been in the dorm lately. Then again, neither have you. Whats going on with that?”



Willow just kept staring at Tara. It was pitch dark outside, but Willow could still see the glow in Tara’s eyes. The blonde was glowing. Willow never wanted to stop staring. But unfortunatly she had to when a large hand waved in front of her face.



“What?” She asked, looking at Cordy.

On the otherside of the parking lot…



“I cant believe it Tar! You, in lo…”



“Don’t say it.” Tara said quickly. But she realized her harsh tone and added, “I don’t want the first person I admit my “l” for Willow to be you. I want it to be her.”



“Understandable.” Jack nodded. “But. Are you falling?”



Tara just stared at Willow. Even through the mist she could still make out the redheads green eyes. They could light up the moon. Willow was shining.



“I fell a long time ago. And I don’t really want to get up.” She smiled. Then looked at Jack. Who nodded. And Tara started walking over to Willow, the walk became a jog, and the jog a full on run, and the run a full on sprint.



Willow saw Tara coming and smiled the biggest smile her face would allow. Then it occurred to Willow that Tara wasn’t stopping. Or slowing, for that matter.



Tara ran straight into Willow knocking them both to the ground. Tara on top of Willow.



“Hey there.”



“I want to show you something.” Tara whispered in Willow’s ear. She nipped at the skin at the redhead’s ear, and began to stand. The blonde felt herself stuck. Willow’s hands were wrapped so tightly around Tara’s waist. She was pulled back down, her lips crashing together with Willow’s. They both released soft moans at the contact and their tongues began swirling. Neither girl aware of how many people were walking by them, and staring. Neither girl would’ve cared anyway. Kisses were kisses. And those were kisses of the best kind.



A couple of minutes later Jack cleared his throat loud enough for both girls to hear.



“Oh right.” Willow said, releasing her hold on Tara and getting to her feet. “Lets go.” She said grabbing Tara’s hand and starting to walk towards the path.



“Actually no. We’re taking Jack’s car.”



“What?”



“I told you I want to show you something.”



“I thought that was a metaphor.”



“Nope. Let’s go.” Tara grabbed Willow’s hand and pulled her towards the car. They were off like a light.

“Wait!” Cordy yelled, slapping Jack’s arm.“How are we gunna get home?”
