General Season 6 Spoilers - Part 7 - The Voyage Home

Postby BBOvenGuy » Fri Mar 01, 2002 5:43 pm

A bit of a heads-up for the next time Wanda starts spewing her "spoilers" over the internet. Right now she's got a "resolve the cliffhangers" poll going on, and one of her questions is, "Who do you think the Big Scooby Death should be?" They don't let you see the running vote tally, but I can guess who the loving Wanda followers are going to pick.

Anyway, the poll can be found here:

Yeah, that bugged me too. Not who do you think it will be, but who it should be. Eh, nobody? I have no desire to see any of the characters die. They also didn't have any option for "None of the Above." Nyeh.

I wish someone on Wanda's chat would say something like "Why weren't Buffy, Willow, none of the above, or Wanda options on the BSD poll? What does it matter what we think if you allegedly already know who it will be? What makes your anonymous sources any more credible than anyone else who wanders onto a board and makes up some crap about the BSD?" Or someone to post a general chat message like "Who else here thinks Wanda's full of crap and that there will be no BSD?"

That poll sickens me. No matter who ends up getting the most votes someone out there is going to be hurt by those results. I don't want any of the Scoobies to die. Shame on Wanda for wording the quiz that way.

I can't believe Wanda'a done that.

Well.. actually, I can believe it, but its a very bad idea, especially without ALL the options available.

By asking who should be the BSD (and there is still absolutely no conffirmation that there will bhe a BSD) she's just going to stir up a whole lot of anti-character sentiment on various boards.

Its pitiing fans against each other, which is wrong, IMHO.

Not that it carries the same weight as a script, but at the PBP Joss said the following about the whereabouts of Miss Kitty Fantastico: "My feeling is that they left her with Willow's mom and when Amber moved out she took her back."

Which naturally led me to wonder if in Joss’ mind that meant Willow’s mom had met Tara and knew about the relationship.

Sorry for the off-topicness of this. But I am livid.

But if you want to complain to E! about Wanda here is the URL. http://www.qualte.com/Templates/Templat ... ent&C=9502

And here is her email, wanda@eonline.com

I think we should complain.

What is her irrational hatred of Tara?
I say if you are going to attack someone that I care for, be prepared to be attacked back. If you don't want stand up, then why bother liking someone or something in the first place.

I know that most of you have been through this again and again. Maybe that is a good enough reason to make it stop now.

Ok, we are gonna quit now. Let's not spend another post on Wanda, I am considering deleting all these posts and I will delete any further ones. Write her tell her what you think, but remember there is no evidence for this, people will get egg on their face soon and we will be the better for it because we will have our Tara. Back to spoilers now!

This poll means nothing, TV Guide had a similar poll a while ago and guess who "won" and it didn't mean anything then and this won't mean anything now.

Anya: Xander, you haven't been paying any attention to me tonight. Just peddling those processed food bricks. I don't know why.
Xander: Let me put it in a way you'll understand. Sell bars. Make money. Take Anya nice places. Buy pretty things.
Anya: That does make sense. Alright, I support you. Go sell more.

Then in Real Me when they are playing Life:

Anya: Crap! Look at this. Now I'm burdened with a husband, and several tiny pink children, more cash than I can reasonably manage.
Xander: That means you're winning.
Anya: Really?
Xander: Yes, cash equals good.
Anya: Ooh, I'm so pleased! Can I trade in the children for more cash?

From that point on it was money money money for Anya.

Hee hee, thanks for posting that Xita. I would join both their fanclubs and suck up shamelessly. They should post here, I would follow them around with big red fonts everywhere.

Just wanted to let ya know that a Hell's Bells quote game is up at the Cross and Stake. I hadn't seen it here so I felt I should post it:
1. "It wasn't you... It wasn't you I was hating...."

2. "Does this jerk ever shut up?"

3. "Finish that sentence, and I guarantee you won't have anything to show."

4. "I need a beer."

5. "I guess they're all messed up."

6. "Anyone else waiting for it to go 'poof'? ... Maybe we can cover it with flowers."

7. "They were my light at the end of the tunnel.... I guess they were a train."

I've always thought that Xander was v. insecure about being the least financially well-off and academic of the Scoobies. Would make sense if it were to rub off onto Anya.
Oh, and did I read somewhere that Rebecca Rand Kirshner's husband is on the writing staff of 'The Simpsons'? I bet that makes for some fun crossovers at home, if true.

Found this at the C&S:

Scoopme.com posted up the following article:

SCOOPME.COM EXCLUSIVE: BUFFY SEES RED ON ?MAGIC?-AL TWO DAY SHOOT
3/2/2002
by Kara Vichko

Contributor: Kara Vichko
Source: Kara Vichko
Show: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Star:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer abandoned the comfy confines of Hollywood to embark upon a rare location shoot at Six Flags Magic Mountain, ScoopMe.com has learned. The park, located in Valencia approximately 35 miles north of Los Angeles, hosted the crew and select cast members on Thursday, February 28, and Friday, March 1. Filming began late in the afternoon on both days, with the second day of shooting lasting until the wee hours of Saturday morning.

The crew used the Cyclone Bay section of Magic Mountain as the backdrop for episode nineteen, written by Steve DeKnight. The entire cast did not make the half hour trip up Interstate 5, as the two-night shoot only required the presence of Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and the Nerd Trio of Warren (Adam Busch), Jonathan (Danny Strong), and Andrew (Tom Lenk). As such, fans can expect an intense confrontation between the title heroine and her current foes ? or nemisis-ees, as they call themselves.

Facades were used to cover some elements of Cyclone Bay, but most of SFMM?s original landscaping will be seen in the final cut. The park is not going to be mentioned on the show, since the script called for a generic amusement park look for the episode, and not necessarily a thrill theme park.

General Season 6 Spoilers - Part 7 - The Voyage Home

Postby Rally » Sat Mar 02, 2002 1:52 pm

I am wondering if 19 could be the showdown with the Troika, leaving 20-22 to set up something entirely different or something for next season.

I mean, this would be her second one on one with them, third if you count Jonathan as the Demon in Life Serial. How many times are they going to do that in a season?

Guess we will have to wait and see until some addtional info on 19 makes the rounds.

Postby Scout » Sat Mar 02, 2002 2:34 pm

Yes, I could see them wrapping up the troika dilemma a little early and then delving into the Scooby personal problems in the final three eps. The troika is secondary to the Scooby inner demons theme.

I’m feeling a little nervous about how this is going to wrap up. Willow’s doing so well with her addiction and by ep 20 W/T should be pretty chummy, so what’s in store for Will in the last few eps? I’m guessing she’s going to face another big test or fall off the wagon at least temporarily.

We need spoilers for the end of the season -- I hate surprises.

I doubt they are wrapping up the troika in 19 i know someone is keeping track of their contract, i think they ahve a few more left. Also, let's remember there's halfrek stuff to deal with and I don't think the x/a thing is done at all.

Andrew Busch (Warren) signed a contract for 10 episodes. So far, he's only been in 6 (Flooded, Life Serial, Smashed, Wrecked, Gone and Dead Things). Since it's doubtful the Supernerds are in 16, that means they'll be around at least till Episode 20, and that's only if they are in every episode after the Wedding.

There are several ways for the Legion of Dim to meet their final rewards in #19 and still have Warren (and the rest) appear in later episodes. Could be issue is rapped up at the beginning of #20, or they appear at a court trial, in a news program, etc....

But I got a sudden chill when I considered that they may appear in the Slayer's DreamTime a la Faith.

Be that as it may, I think it is also possible the Supernerds will have a presence up til the finale. Remember, Spike and Dru were the Little Bad's of Season 2, and they were in it up until the end. Though I seriously doubt they will be the main plot of the climax, they may still be involved in it in some way. Then again, maybe not. It really could go any direction at this point.
