Bloody hell, did they actually WATCH the episode?

And xita, I was mainly wondering if the banner since it won't be around forever, cause I don't think I could handle that...

Obviously they dont watch the episodes Tyche, they read the Wildfeeds :grin and ill just bet the ratings are like Seeing Reds, that just proves that not only do the critics not watch, no one else does :puke

Apparently the critics loved Seeing Red, but no one watched if you go by the ratings someone posted for the show....I dont think anyone at UPN gives a shit what the critics think, its all about the ratings..Regardless of what ME, Joss, Marti and the writers say about ratings not meaning anything to them :puke

I wondered the same thing when I read that review. I look at it as a testament to the effectiveness of UPN's publicity department. Actually, seeing some positive national reviews of the episode will make it more interesting when we see how it does in the ratings.

Amy, relativegirl--thanks for posting here. Your fortitude is inspiring and helps put all of this in perspective. It's painful when an oasis of feeling like BtVS ceases to give any sort of pleasure, comfort, enjoyment or identificatory value--but there *are* degrees of heartbreak. And this is really the least of them.

Besides the intelligence, wit, and depth you both exhibit, you're also clearly blessed with wonderful powers of expression. The truth and clarity of your language reminds me that words are mighty tools--something that the folks at ME have clearly forgotten.

My deepest condolances for your losses.

Happy, how the hell is Willow coming back from this. Maybe the point of showing the institution in Normal Again was to show us where Willow will be living next year due to her overwhelming happiness at the brutal senseless murder of her lover and her vision of frying the world to a cinder. Happy my ass, so this confirms that ME is doing a bunch of drugs while writing the show from their sofa in hell.

Yeah I read the review and "Happy" of course for all the scoobies, but the lesbians who have to suffer (ie with death and being a "broken woman"). I don't know what would be worst next year watching Willow being depressed and unhappy for all of the season or pairing her off with a new love interest soon after. Both options make me sick to my stomach :puke ! Of course, for me there will be no next year, but still yuck!

I kept waiting for the reversal. And I guess I still am.

The one good thing I did pull out of the show was that Buffy does indeed come out of the grave again with a renewed spirit. Is that symbolism? I'm not sure....but I got it. No, I didn't need to hear how Buffy wants to "show Dawn the world"...what the fuck? Out of character much? When was this great epiphany? It must have been in the same episode where Tara came back to life and went to visit her father, unknowlingly safe and out of harm's way.

I'll be watching next season in hopes that Tara will be Willow's guide and comfort...they have almost totally destroyed Will.

Big gun, little bang.

Actually, I was cheering Willow on for most of it. I wanted to see her take that semi and make Xander pancakes all over the road. I've been waiting for 3 seasons for her to tell Buffy "Get OFF me, super bitch!"

I wonder if Ed the Spoiler will be watching tonight's episodes? (Sorry- I must have absorbed some Black Magick somewhere down the line and the evilness is oozing from me).

Gawd, it's as awful as they say so far. At the halfway mark right now. If Willow or anyone else says, "I get it" one more time I'm going to dance to it. Although I suppose it means something that SOMEOME gets this slop!

at least the xander saving thing makes more sense now--it wasn't that it was "xander", it was that there was goodness in her again. so anyone could that was close enough to her could have reached out to her. so ok. that makes me feel a little better. that makes me feel a little less sick while i wait for episode one of season seven, the episode with the reversal that brings back tara. *smiling (eyes slightly too wide) as i wait impatiently for the reset...
