If you are Joss.....how would you end buffy?

Suppose that next seventh season would be really the last and the end for "buffy the vampire slayer", [b:83643686f3]what kind of end you would like to see[/b:83643686f3]? I mean, for Tara and Willow obviously! (you can tell for the others cast too if you want) The last scene, the last part of the episode. Something with a "bang"!

I don't want to ask you what kind of end you will wait from Joss because, we all know, that the end for us, it's Seeing Red (except last five min.) with Willow and Tara together and because everything can Joss do is destroing every good thing he has done at least.

And, suppose that we can bring Tara back to Willow next season, in which way you would do? Spell, UT,ecc?

Oh, right.. that has nothing to do with Buffy's end.. erm.. I think I would have jump Buffy from a tower into a shiny light to save the world. Then we see her friends finding her body and crying.. and then we see a gravestone with Buffy's name.
That leaves Willow and Tara together, and it is a real bang. I could work hard for my new series Firefly, which everybody was going to like.

Well, I would definitely bring Tara back to Willow.
I'm thinking a spell done by Willow. One last and final spell.....the one that would make things better...forever.

She would figure out a way to go back in time. Like, before Warren came to the house. This way Tara would still be alive and neither her nor Buffy would have been shot yet. Willow would know that Warren would be coming to the house in attempt to kill Buffy,...so knowing this,..she could stop him. Therefore, saving Buffy AND Tara Then Warren and the super geeks would probably get caught and go to jail and nobody would get hurt.
So, I'd like to see Season 7 end with going back to season 6 and changing what happened. Or maybe that wouldn't be how Season 7 ended. Maybe that could happen towards the beginning of s7 and then it could just end with all of them being happy and together and Willow and Tara getting married. I'd love to see that. Have the final episode be the WILLOW AND TARA WEDDING.

A happy end. For Willow and Tara. Together. They deserve this. They really deserve this. More than everyone else in the show.

Remember Willows "I will always find you"? Well, in the next season, Tara come back on earth, but not as Tara, as a different person, in a different body. A demon (don't hate me, just read on!). The Scooby start to fight her, but, Willow, feels that this demon isn't new, she feel something, and she discover that it's Tara, Tara is inprison in that body. But Willow, who can't fight her, because she loves her so much, try to bring back Tara, speaking with her, telling her how she loves her, ecc...... using some spells, too, obviously! And, at least, Tara feel Willow, stop fight the scooby and return back, out of that body, as our Tara. And Willow, with Tara in her arms, not as a ghost, or in a dream or a spiritual giude, but as human Tara :" What did I told you? I will always find you! Always!!!!" And, from this moment, they live together forever!

And, I'm agree, Joss want a big bang??

If I was Joss, well now let me see, if I was Joss I would have ended the series at the end of Seeing Red.

Of course I would have written the show slightly differently, a nice long full W+T sex scene of course and I would have had Anya finally getting her vengence on Xander, turning his thingie green would be good! After much grovelling and apologising after realsing what a asshole he'd been, Anya would forgive him and they'd get back together, I'd have Spike revert to his old evil ass self and stop moping over Buffy, Dawn would stop squealing at every opportunity and Buffy would get her head out of her ass and get her life back together, firstly by capturing the Nerds and having them sent to jail for the rest of the lives for the murder of Katrina.

Finally Willow and Tara would move out of the Summers home and get their own apartment and live happily ever after with their 4 cats

Really hard question, because Joss is an appalling man, he is full of hubris, he is sarcastic, cruel and self-centred. I don't want to imagine being him.

If the question is phrased "If you were responsible for overseeing BtVS S7, what would you do?" then I can answer. I'm currently writing a fic called "Mission Statement" which addresses this very question. It will run to 40-50000 words at my best guess and take me about 6 months to write. But the challenge is enormous. I finally got around to reading the shooting scripts of "Villains", TTG and "Grave" yesterday (the eps haven't screened in my country yet and I don't think I can watch them), and the characters and the situation are completely f***ed. My aim in "Mission Statement" is to bring W/T back together, but at the same time preserve the show's erstwhile core values of being a horror-comedy in which the path of true love is a rocky one. I mean, the Big Reset can be done in half a page, hardly enough for a season of television, so I've got to make it as circumlocutious as possible. I'm tying myself in knots about it at the moment, but I think I see the path ahead.

He goes to find Buffy thinking she'll love him now he's all human

Shell get bored cozwell hes William & his poetry is terrible!

Faith the Vampire Slayer fights Buffy the Vampire in the Season Finale. She is fatally wounded but manages to dust VampBuffy before she dies.

Xander goes off to London to work with Giles at the Council of Watchers. His life carries on as cuppa tea, cuppa tea, almost got shagged, cuppa tea.

Anyanka carries on life as a Vengeance Demon granting wronged womens wishes

Willow & Tara formally adopt Dawn & live happily together. Truly & forever in love.

The Finale ends with a Watcher (completely new person NOT Giles or Xander) walking up to a young girl sitting on a school steps somewhere in the world obviously far away from Sunnydale.she is the new Slayer.fade to black

If I could fix things I think the best bet would be to undo Dawn's creation. Everything from the end of "Buffy vs Dracula" is a AU from the first 4 seasons. That way people can't complain BTVS has weakened the power of death because Tara would just not be dead and Buffy never would have died to be resurected. Of course Buffy would be with Riley still but I don't see that lasting anyway. Xanya would be fine and Willow and Tara would be together. We would be left to ponder how our Gang "actually" will grow up over the course of the college years. Things could be similar but would it?

There's a Big Bad to be defeated (of course)--someone who's out to rewrite history. A cabal of evil wizards gathering all they need to capture, then enslave a Time Demon (who, natch enough, doesn't care for the idea at all).

As they start working their will (and [i:b5141ff61a]Sliders[/i:b5141ff61a] fans start having deja-vu as alternate histories start becoming fact all around us), the Scoobies must work together to break into the Cabal's lair and free the Time Demon. The closer they get, the more *flashes* of possiblity assault them...

--Faith as a vampire
--Ethan Rayne as Buffy's Watcher
--Buffy working for the Mayor
--Drusilla in love with Xander, helping out the Scoobies
--Amy still trying to change Willow back from being a rat

In the midst of all these, each of the Scoobies can't resist the opportunity to change things for the better. Xander weds Anya, Willow pulls Tara out of harm's way before Warren fires, etc. As they do, the Scoobies themselves become a stronger and more cohesive group. This is crucial as they get to the heart of the lair to fight the Bad Guys--with Tara and Anya at their side.

At the end, the Temporal Demon is freed. As its power bursts out of its bonds, all of them get glimpses of other lives, when this group have worked/will work together in many different ages.

Dawn sees all this, and is awestruck. She's also the only survivor. The Time Demon notices her, looks at her crying face, and sheds a tear. That tear becomes a crystal...

Fade to a handsome forty-ish woman in slightly futuristic clothes. She explains to a teenaged girl that being the Slayer is more than just combat. Its a way to earn rewards from the universe as a champion of life. The girl (clearly the Slayer) thinks this is pretty much nonsense. Her Watcher--Dawn Summers--disagrees and promises to show her the proof one day. Around her throat is a tear-shaped crystal. Touching it, she closes her eyes and sees all her friends--Willow and Tara are getting married under a sky with three moons. Xander, Anya and Buffy are there, in Starfleet-ish uniforms. They are happy.

Dawn smiles. It is a wise smile, one that earns a smart alec crack from her Slayer. Just then Spike shows up to help with training. He reminds Dawn she promised to share her little eavedropping with him from time to time...

As for the 7th season end? I want Spike gone. I am so tired of the veneration of this character who has gotten away with attempted rape. I'm still boggling how he could be still there and Tara gone. Guess a near-rapist murderer is better than a witchy lesbian. (Oh, bitter bitter!!) But sadly, knowing Joss, the end will be big, bloody and not happy ever after. Might as well go for all-out farce, that's what the show is nowadays anyway...
Xander and Spike are both impoverished and end up working as male strippers to pay the rent. Unfortunately, all the women in Sunnydale have seen Spike topless already, so no-one's willing to pay to see him take his clothes off. The bar goes bankrupt, and the owner sells up to a new player in the Sunnydale strip club industry .. Harmony. She makes Xander clean toilets, and gives Halfrek a job as Spike's minder. Halfrek's new job is to make sure that Spike doesn't have any fun whatsoever, and she does it so well that he gets really bored and stakes himself. Harmony also gives Giles a job there, as a singer.
Willow is ordered by Giles to go to the local coven to seek forgiveness. Only she mishears him and goes to the local electrical goods showroom, and begs the ovens there to forgive her. (Lame joke, I know.) She gets picked up by the police and tossed in the local mental hospital, where she not only discovers most of the ME writing staff, but also Tara and Miss Kitty Fantastico. Tara, instead of being shot, fell through a mountain-sized plot hole (which was ripped open by Warren's magic bullet) into the alternate mental-hospital dimension. Miss Kitty Fantastico ended up in the hospital after a horrendous kitten-poker and catnip addiction spree that she doesn't like to talk about. Together, they escape from the mental hospital, but not before conjure a spell to imprison the ME writing staff in there for all time ... as really kewl comic-book characters from Joss Whedon's adolescence.
Meanwhile, Steve DeKnight is busy making Buffy and Anya have sex so that he can enjoy gratuitous on-set girl-on-girl action, which of course won't make it onto the air. Buffy and Anya are too busy enjoying themselves (and fighting off DeKnight, who's getting rather excited) to notice Willow and Tara entering the Summers house and smuggling out Dawn. Dawn takes them to Spike's abandoned motorbike, and Willow, Tara, Dawn and MKF roar out of town headed for Hawaii.
Dawn is about to launch into one final chorus of 'Get out, get out, GET OUT!', when Tara says, 'Honey, we're already out. We're so out we're going to Hawaii to get hitched' and casts a spell on Dawn to prevent her uttering the dread words ever again.
Miss Kitty Fantastico purrs joyfully, no longer neglected. When they reach Hawaii, Willow and Tara don hula skirts and flowery garlands, and live happily ever after.
