I recently switched to using Internet Explorer, and it bugs me on this site. It won't auto-save my login, and it doesn't automatically do re:Title.
Joel was also in Can't Hardly Wait, as was Amber. Joel played one of the X-Philes. Amber played Stoner Girl, but she was only in a brief shot, holding a banana. But she had a larger scene with Seth Green, but the MPAA made them cut it(fascists). Joel had some good scenes and was pretty funny where he's on the roof of the poolhouse with Jay, the other X-Phile. He says his retainer looks like a Klingon warship and that "that patch of sky, right over there, is like a superhighway of UFO activity." There's also a good scene where they imitate the Luke-Vader fight in The Empire Strikes Back.
I think Anya and Tara were pretty close. Remember when they hide from the fight in TYF? That was a nice, cute scene. As for Willow, I would have to say no one. No one has *really* been there for her this season. Let's see, there's Xanya, with their abscence during the addiction arc, and their jackass-ness in OAFA. Dawn, there's not really a "friend" so much as a "sister" dynamic there. Buffy also wasn't there for during the addiction, except in the end, when she herself got dragged into it. But I digress. In S5, I'd probably say Xander. *dons flame-repellant armor*

I think I am a little too focused on certain Buffy things. Was reading a book last night (Gore Vidals The Golden Age) which introduced a character at the end named Aaron Burr Decker. Known by his initials - AB.

The first time I read AB I just kept reading, but about a sentence later I thought hey, AB, thats Amber Benson. Drifted off a bit and then forced myself to start reading. Took about an hour to finish the 10 pages of the book in which AB Decker appears.

(not as good a book as the other ones by Vidal. He even puts himself in as a fictional character. Introducing Amber Benson would have made it a whole lot better)

Also - I saw 'But I'm a Cheerleader' recently (racking my brain about where I had seen Clea Duvall before until I, eventually, remembered her Buffy appearance). I thought it was great (unsubtle, but funny). Then I went and read reviews of the film that were, in general, quite critical particularly of the politics (such as it objectifying and stereotyping both hetero and homosexuals). What do other people think of the film?

As for who are Willow and Tara's best friend I agree before season 6 I would of picked Buffy for Willow. However, with the "I can't feel/screwing Spike" Buffy, I would have to pick her computer (she probably made friends on the net, and at least these people would listen to her problems) or Dawn (before Buffy came back, and after Dawn forgave her for hurting her in "Wrecked"). We know what a W&T shipper Dawn is, and she was always giving Willow encouragement to talk/get back together with Willow.

As for Tara its either Dawn or Anya. Although with Dawn I see more of a mother-figure role, but they were definitely friends too. Anya and Tara were both outsiders, and from the talk in the bathroom, to a little thumb-wrestling in the Magic Box while waiting for Giles big announcement in "TR" you can see a close friend dynamic between the two. I just wish they brought that friendship out more in the show.

Ooh! Something I truly enjoy talking about. I love this movie with everything of me, I've gotten many friends addicted to it, even straight ones, and all those critical reviews are from homophobes pretending to be liberal. Anyone who's read The Autobiography of Malcolm X has heard about how he was more comfortable with the open racists than with the liberals who were just as racist but tried to hide it? Well, insert homophobes and you've got the way I feel sometimes.
