Well I understand that Ms. Fantastico (it was a slight riff on the cute little kitten I hope will show up in Season 7) but I think for the fans who will continue to watch the show it should be questioned whether or not there is the possibility of revisiting Tara romance in the seventh season.

[/quote:2c8c643b73]

The name is not Ms Fantastico or Ms Kitty. The people who will continue to watch season 7 are welcome to do so and discuss it, elsewhere. If they do bring Tara back alive there is no question in my mind their romance will continue on the show as well. True love forever means just that.
That show is dead, I'm moving along, until Willow and Tara are back on it, there is nothing to see.

I agree, for me, this show is dead. If I hear Amber has signed a contract for about the same number of episodes that she was in this year, I'll be back. If I hear she's only going to be in 1 or 2, then I'll stay gone. I have no interest in seeing ghost Tara bringing Willow back from the edge.....It was cheesy when they did it on All My Children, and it would be just as cheesy here....BTVS had two actesses with incredibly romantic and believable chemistry, and they threw it all away for a vengance story.....
It's Willow and Tara and no one else.....

I'm kinda stepping off the path of where this discussion is going, and I already expressed my feelings for the episode but I noticed a few things as I was re-watching the finale. First, why didn't Anya just use her vengeancy powers to help? like teleport away from Willow instead of being thrown around or teleport out of that hole thing that Buffy and Dawn were in to find a rope or something.
Next did anyone else notice how bad the camera angle was on one shot where you can totally see the faces of Willow and Buffy's stunt doubles? the part where Willow is standing and Buffy kind of jumps and pushes her back?
and at the part right after Willow drains Giles, did anyone else notice that that was the same spot where Tara fell in Family? I just saw that sign behind her about leaving the bags on the counter and had a total flashback to Family where Tara was admitting what she did with the spell.
Lastly did anyone else not like the ending of the finale? I liked the episode but didn't like how they ended it. I can understand that they'd need to resolve the whole Buffy/Dawn thing and the Giles explaining to Anya thing too, but I really think that they should have put more focus on Willow. I mean the whole episode, the whole story arc was about Willow, then when she finally cracks and breaks down its like they just cut away and barely show any of it. I also thought that it would have been better if Buffy and Dawn walked over to where Willow and Xander were, but can understand them needing to be together to look at the world again. What I definitely didn't like was having the last scene be of Spike! I think the whole him getting a soul thing is ridiculous! I mean he's becoming Angel! He always mocks and teases Angel for his soul, and now he went and got himself one? having two vamps with a soul? are you kidding? Plus Spike is SO much more fun being bad. I think he's better as Buffy's enemy rather than her ally.

Now see i have a problem.as a person without sky ive not seen series six yet but feel like i have following via script, on here and watching the odd episode round very nice friends who allow me to use them by watching buffy round theres.
So i am faced with three dilemas.do i
a)not watch series six or seven
b)watch till tara dies then swear off buffy
c)watch just to the end of series six and rant
What eva happens my friend and i plan to own all the box sets to series 5 and then make a video of series six only till willow and tara get back together and then stop. This way in my buffy library (that is steadily growing) tara will neva die.
Unfortuately however bad the program ends i feel i will remain the shipper as i proved to be with the x files, and will drag myself with the utmost effort through series six and seven. Although i do have to agree and say, if Willow dates agains ill be upset, (but every1s entitled to mild happiness even if the cow will neva be tara), but if shes dates a bloke ill be damn rightly pissed of and say bugger to the lot of them.i dont care if theyve bought giles back, wilow found her soul mate with tara she cant go against all tara and her once argued about and catch a bus back to boysville. they are going to be insulting to enough to taras memory without that.GRRRR. God what am i going to be like if i watch series six and seven. Oh well we shall see.

well, i recommend watching season 6 just for the musical and tabula rasa. Plus you wouldn't want to miss al those WT smoochies.

Do what i did. I just watch until the part in seeing red where tara says "that's the best part!" and smiles that wonderfu smile of hers.

In my reality, WT proceed to shag into the sunset after that. who cares what happens to warren, spike etc. :grin

Did anyone notice that they cut the fight scene between Willow and Buffy? Weird. Here I was, waiting for Aly's great double kick and it never came. Bleh.

This Willow and Buffy fight stuff.
Was it worth watching? It made my stomach unhappy so I fastforwarded through the whole thing.

As for Anya doing the teleport thing. She told the two idiots that it "didn't work that way". I think she can whoosh herself off to places, but not anyone else.

There was a double kick? Bah. I didn't think Willow kicked Buffy's ass as much as I was thinking she was gonna.
I was beginning to think it was wishful thinking on my part.
As for the cuts in general, Sky just seem to let any old work experience teenager loose with a pair of scissors, the amount of sense they make.

Thanx Denial Queen! i think that may be the way forward
My next suggestion may credit Joss Weadon with more intelligence than he actually has but could the reason that Xander could bring Wilow "back" with the words "i Love you" be a throw back to the end of series two when he bought her out of a coma at the end of series two wiwth the same line???
i dont know but i was wondering so i thought id open the question to the xperts.

Does anyone know the title and artist of the last song they played in "Grave"? Seems like it was Sarah McLachlan, but I can't find a song by her with "Where there is..." in the lyrics? There were no credits to be found on our UPN station... Thanks in advance!!!

Uh...no thanks. The dialogue was really embarrassing.

One thing I did notice on rewatching this is how much Willow sways from side to side when she's thinking and talking. It was like the old Willow; all nervy and twitchy. I always loved that about her. But it didn't sit well with DMW. For some reason she looked kind of...well, [i:d20e3414b3] special needs[/i:d20e3414b3] Wicca... ;)

I liked the way (well didn't exactly like it, but you know...) DMW flinched everytime someone mentioned Tara. She was so vunerable, I kind of hoped Dawn would get through to her a bit in the Rack scene but then came the nasty "wah" insult. Urgh.

After she got Rack's power came the noticable mood change right?

I hated Rack. Jeff Kober was amazing. He made me tense up whenever he was on the screen but even managed to offset that with the "Thats a band right?" joke. Well it was funny the first time round :)

[/quote:eb0fd5fd60]

Well, I don't know about mood. But she definitely got spacier and her eyes went black again. I think she may have picked up some veins at that time, too.

That whole scene was so disturbing. I realize that the magic Willow got from Rack was "black," but it [i:eb0fd5fd60] still[/i:eb0fd5fd60] seems completely out-of-character for her to threaten Dawn, especially after Dawn [u:eb0fd5fd60]brought up[/u:eb0fd5fd60] Tara and the pain she was feeling about her death. And just shortly thereafter, when Buffy showed up, Willow was able to switch back into "I" when talking about how Tara made her feel wonderful. Maybe that just shows that Rack's magic was starting to wear off, a little, but Willow's callousness about Dawn---and Dawn's love of Tara---was one of the worst things about this underwhelming finale. :(

GG [i:eb0fd5fd60] watched it a third time, almost [b:eb0fd5fd60] trying[/b:eb0fd5fd60] to see what so many critics were gushing about . . . Nope[/i:eb0fd5fd60] Out

if you notice though, everytime anyone mentioned Tara, willow's buttons got pushed and she'd go berzerk-y. It was like she was overcompensating for how much pain she was feeling by projecting it to somebody else. heck Giles, almost got smooshed by the bookshelves in the magic shop after he mentioned tara.

People keep saying "at last Xanders the hero".

Umm quite... he's saved the world TWICE before!

He brought Buffy back allowing her to defeta the Master; ok, buffy actually did it.

But in The Zeppo he saved the world definitly!
If the bomb had gone off it would of killed the Scoobies and the one big demon but the Hellmnouth would still have been open and the world destropyed! So this whole "Xander finaly gets to be the hero" is rediculous. Bad writing and, as much as i usally like the guy, it seems he's been made a target for hatred by ME.

Well, fuck them, they killed Tara.

I no longer care for them.

It isn't just W/T that belong to us; its all the characters who they destroyed to pull this offf; all the relationships they messed up. Buffy belongs to the fans now and we can control what we want to see.

Thought since our "badass" Aly was mentioned in this from E online, Id post it here, kind of goes along with Joss going for the boy ratings:

[b:9c885733d8] Badass Babes: Sure, Xena and La Femme Nikita were around long before this season's tough-girl offerings, but everywhere you looked on network TV this season, some kind of foxy femme was kicking butt and taking names: Alias' Jennifer Garner, Crossing Jordan's Jill Hennessy, Dark Angel's Jessica Alba, and Buffy's geek turned baddie Alyson Hannigan. Word of advice: Enjoy this while it lasts, my friends, because the networks are quickly shifting away from girl power to family comedies and male-oriented crime dramas. Booooooo[/b:9c885733d8]

Anybody know where I can get my hands on that Sarah McLaughlin song? I have most of her stuff and it's not on any of them. Is it new coming out?

You know, I'm a Christian and I really don't know that much about Wicca, but I respect it and those who practice it. Those I know who follow the religion are actually better than most Christians I know. We're supposed to be known by our love and many of us fail miserably, myself included. But I totally agree with the outrage people felt about the "Wiccan scorned" tagline. It was really out of line. And what the heck was up with a Jewish Wiccan who's trying to raise a Satanic temple? Hell, did she wear a crucifix too? Talk about overkill....

Postby VampNo12 » Mon May 27, 2002 4:27 pm

Well I finally had the unfortunate luck to watch these dreadful episodes, which will teach me not to visit friends over the holidays. When they found out I didn't watch the season finale in pops the video in the vcr, and I truly felt like Warren being tortured by Willow, God these shows were awful.

First thing that came to my mind was what show am I watching, because I didn't recognize it with all these caricatures of characters I used to love. I kept thinking the Rock was going to show up any minute, and tag-team with Willow in her WWF showdown with Buffy. However, I really wanted to see Willow kick "super bitch" (ie Buffy) ass, and wipe the smugness off her.

The only times I could tolerate Willow was when someone brought up Tara, which was the only time she allowed the pain to start to come through. Poor Dawnie with that horrid diatribe Willow went through when she was mocking Dawn's grief. Dawn was the only one besides Willow who showed any genuine emotion over Tara's death (my god she watched over her dead body), and how does she get repaid with Willow insinuating Dawn should go back to being a ball of energy.

I had to laugh with all the teleporting that went on, and I wanted to scream when Buffy and Giles started laughing. As for Xander how many times did the writers have to remind me that he felt useless. A person would have to be blind to not see the set-up of Xander saves the day. Yes I know it was the magic Willow took from Giles that broke her down (ie be able to feel the pain), but Xander was set up as the "hero", who kept her occupied until the magic worked its mojo. Who would of thought that the talk of a "yellow crayon" with a few "I love you's" would stop Willow from destroying the world. I am so not impressed.

I could care less about Spike attaining a soul, Anya acted more human as a vengeance demon than when she was human, Willow in third person, than changing to speaking as herself, Buffy wanting to live again, and etc this show gave me a headache. Really this was two hours of my life I will never get back, and now I realize why I didn't want to watch these last two shows in the first place. Lastly, after everything Willow has had to endure to not end up in a jail cell or padded cell will be a minor miracle.
