I think Willow and Buffy are and will always be best friends. Sure, this last season they haven't seemed to close....kinda distant from each other actually,....but they ARE best friends. Willow cares and loves Buffy and Buffy feels the same way towards Willow. I think they will always be close. No matter what....that's how it's always been.

I think, like some of you, that Tara's best friend is Dawn. They both care about each other so much. Plus. they have their whole " movie/milkshake fun day" thing.

I thought it was fun! I loved the cheer at the end..
The biggest critisim I heard, which I dispute BTW, was was like but not as good as a John Water film. My impression was it was nothing like a John Waters film (which ache equal parts sarcasim and grossout), and the only reason this conection lept to peoples minds was the casting of "mink stole" as her mom... It was meant to be a fun, light film...

I think Willow is Tara's best friend, and certainly in the last couple years Tara has been Willow's best friend. But Willow and Buffy will always be close, and Buffy would have lost it a long time ago if it weren't for Willow.

Willow always comes through to Buffy.. she does so in Weight Of The World and she does so in Normal Again.. and who knows how many times more. But their friendship seems to be a one way road.. always has been. Ok, occasionaly Buffy saves Willow's life.. but that isn't actually a best friend thing to do, being the Slayer and all.

Willow has no best friend. Just watch Something Blue. The only people who always care/cared for her are Oz, Dawn and of course Tara.

Tara's best friend is Joel.. I think.. or it might be that I am confusing fan fic and canon here.. but actually I don't mind, hee

Hmm I would have said Buffy was Willow's best friend until Buffy turned into a self-involved, insensitive whiner. Two to Go and Grave were proof that Buffy just isn't best friend material.

I cant see Tara as someone who would have a friend labeled as her best friend. She is just so friendly to everyone she treats everyone equally, except her lover.
