Yeah I will be working on the real transcripts over the next couple days. It's hard when doing the live stuff, cause I kinda tune out during the Spuffy bits and you never know when suddenly they launch off in a different direction and talk about Willow and Tara. There were a couple W/T comments that I missed.

Also I like to make sure we have the exact info. I do not like the continue impression that Trolls and Lurkers pass onto other boards that we are somehow bad mouthing the writers or misinterpreting what they say.

Not sure if you heard it or not...but at the end of the interview, the two heading the interview completely and utterly praised the kittens. They thanked you for your support and thought you were cool. (from what I remember...) There was nothing at all about any disrespect from the kittens.

I'm at a loss here..I tune out posts that bash other fans specifically so I missed this along the way..

Obviously, I shouldn't have butted in and for that I apologize..When I heard Kitty and Candy say what they did about the kittens, I thought about you guys...I feel bad for what you've gone through with this season and thought that a little 'shout out' would make someone here feel better that at least someone out there was trying... which makes no sense in how I said it but I'm tired now and going to bed....

This Tara/Amber thing is driving me nuts! The facts don't make a coherent whole yet.

1) Last info I have seen is that AB's contract on the show expired this season.
2) Rumours that AB may write or even direct some Eps in S7.
3) Categorical statement - "No more Tara"
4) As for _Amber_, she'll mumble, mumble, mumble

Conclusion - Maybe, just maybe, AB will have some involvement with the FINAL Season (let's start calling it that from now on to really piss them off), but it will not be as the Tara of old.

Ever get the feeling you're being strung along? The more this gets talked around, the more publicity it whips up for this degenerating sad excuse for a TV show.

Can Kittens going to Toronto please do something like this:

Hold up big signs for AB saying:

"Is it HOPE or BITTERNESS?"

You are not butting in, I am just really being precise about putting out certain info right now. I don't want folks thinking we harbor resentment towards Kitty and Candy. We appreciate their efforts with the show and the interviews they did. We don't harbor resent towards the writers per se, other than some of their not well thought out remarks.

These are tricky times, everyone is on the defensive. When that happens, things are misconstrued. Taken the wrong way. I am just trying to be precise in my wording and avoid misconceptions.

Maybe it was not your intent, but these questions sound like a judgement and not the kind of judgement to be made on this board. Amber Benson and Alyson Hannigan are very important to this board, but that aside, they are professionals, they truly are. They do their job and they do it brilliantly, what they also always have done is show respect and gratitude even to their fans and they have always supported the characters and the relationship they portrayed, some other people at ME could learn some lessons from these ladies. If they *both* stay on this show that is totally up to them. This story arc does not mean they should quit the show or that if they stay it must be for the cash or that that is the only reason why they would stay. Regardless of the writing and what they might think of this story, there are most likely other factors binding them and/or their loyalties to BtVS, but whatever their reasons or motivations is not for us to question or judge.

Yes, it seems like Amber will be back as a ghost for at least one episode. Add up the rumors: we heard Amber had signed an option contract, which Bob pointed out could be for one to thirteen episodes; Amber isnt acting like shes in desperate need of work right now; we heard Nick Brendon say that Tara would be back in a form different from the one we know her; we heard Aly say that not all is lost for Willow in S7; we hear Jane hinting that if youre missing Amber you might not be for long.

IMO, shell be back for at least one ep as a ghost/spirit to give the W/T relationship closure and to allow Willow to forgive herself and move on with her life.

Im torn about Jane. Her comments about ratings and Willow as a lesbian role model had me shaking my head, but I liked her final comments a lot. Im just glad this is the last interview for the summer. I dont think I can take another one of the writers/producers trying to explain how this somehow makes sense. We know it ultimately doesnt - not for the show or the fans - and it never will.

Hmm. I am sure we will see some sort of Tara next season if Amber wants to come back. Please god, not a ghost. They can come up with something better than that.

I am concerned that all the negative feedback Joss is receiving may make him more stubborn. By this, I am in no way saying he doesn't deserve it. Many boards are taking what we are saying WAY out of context, the main thing being that we are apparently saying they shouldn't kill Tara because she is gay. This is all getting back to Mutant Enemy.

I am just thinking about the B/A situation and how they reacted to that. I suppose Angel was always scheduled to come back so they could come right out and appease the fans. I know it is a totally different scenario but B/A has been met with derision from ME in recent times which has pissed a lot of dedicated fans off. Why do they mock us for supporting something they created? It is disrespectful.

I am totally behind the Kitten and it's future. I just want Tara back so badly and I don't want anything outside their plans for the show to jeapordise that. By that, I don't mean the Kitten, I mean reactions to the Kitten. ME have obviously taken all the current reaction on board.

I must say I liked reading Jane's interview. It seems like she has given some serious thought to what is going on on the show. And she shows a good deal of respect for the fans. Even if I don't agree with some of her statements, she comes off as a respectful and pleasant individual. So, I say, yay for Jane!

I still prefer my 'Tara from an alternate universe' theory. At least it's better than 'Tara Ghost.' She is not our Tara. But Tara is Tara. She has a real body. Willow and new Tara can re-built their relationship. Maybe we can make some psychic connection between our Tara and new Tara. It can add a guilt factor for the drama. It can give Amber new challange of acting. I know it's a big cliche. But it's still better than an evil twin or a new girl friend.

Second, this is the man committed to the story right? I mean thoughts of social repercutions did not keep him from killing Tara. I doubt a few little shippers are going to change his mind about what he is doing next year. And if he does, well I guess all our ranting was underplayed even

I guess this statement is making sense now in light of this discussion. I always had a sinking feeling that he intended to have Will and Tara apart in some way when I first heard this. I guess he's always had this plan to kill Tara and then have Amber around on the show in some way other than Willow's lover.

I love Amber and want to see her again in the worst way, but wow, it' s gonna suck so bad if they keep Will and Tara apart.
