Well now.
There's a thing.
Why am I not disappointed.

Hmmm..it could be something with not giving a rat's arse about anything that Joss does, that does'nt involve Amber and Aly in a positive way :bounce

Bye bye firefly :smash

Karma is a bitch, indeed.

And she's going to get a handful of Milk Bones tonight, 'cause she's been a very good girl.

Looking forward to the spin.:joss

I didn't really care to watch firefly. It didn't seem like a very unique, interesting, or groundbreaking show. In contrast, Willow and Tara were unique, interesting, and groundbreaking and we all know how that turned out.

On a happier note, today's friday! I might head out to the beach (if it's not too cold) during the weekend to catch some sun. Have a great friday, Kittens!

Well now that is a perfect way to start Friday the 13th. I finally got what I wanted and not what I needed. Yay me. :party
I hope the actors and other folks involved behind the scenes except our good friend will quickly move on to better jobs and places.

What a wonderful way to wake up on a Friday the 13th and see such great news!!!!!!!! :party It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy! Can't help but think things would have gone so much better if he hadn't killed off that little gay character he treated so poorly. You all know the one! Funny how fate works, kill off a character you figure can be disposable and watch your empire crumble. Good! There won't be any tears or shattered mutterings of "Your...show!" No broken hearts here!:grin

Mr. Whedon, you reap what you sow. I do I hope you gain some insight into what caused the ruination of your dreams.

I have sympathy for the cast and crew of FF, who have lost their jobs just in time for Christmas.

What, you say, no tears for Joss? That well dried up last May.

This is great news.:clap I am delighted:bounce :bounce :bounce that Joss is finally reaping what he so thoroughly deserves.

I too feel sorry for the cast and crew of Fire Fly, but hopefully they will find much more rewarding work in the very near future.

Ok kittens all together now,

"It not what you want, but what you need!"

HAHAHAHA!

Yes this is Karma.

I do feel bad for the cast and crew. They thought they were signing on to some dream team and it was in reality a nightmare.

This show should have been canceled a long time ago, but I am glad in a way it dragged on.

Whedon you can't blame Fox, they gave you more chnaces than they did David E. Kelly and his other two shows are ratings winners.
You can't blame the time slot. Happy Gilmore did great there. Dark Angel repeats still scored higher than some FF first runs.
You can't blame the fans for not getting it. They just didn't like it.

You can only blame yourself, but somehow I doubt you will do that.

This is payback and it is glorious.

I have always had great Friday 13ths! This is going to be one of the best!

Well. There you go. Karma indeed. And may I say, due to unforseen circumstances, I've had a healthy respect for karma of late. She's really coming through for me right now and this just proves that it does indeed work in mysterious ways.

Good good day. :)

Karma the mega-bitch, how do we love thee! So Firefart finally busted its light and hit the dirt head on, really hard. I guess Friday the 13th is good for some things, depending who you are. :joss
Hopefully my weekend into Monday won't be as harsh as Firefly going flop. (over in NY, union people (transit) are getting ready to strike (as of Monday) so for those wanting to use trains or buses early next week, well, you're better off hanging in Jersey. I'll be screwed...)

karmavasha: The necessary influence or repercussion of actions.

which I take as he had it coming. Which I find nice to know.

YAY HEY!

Thanks for the link Xita! OK, I never watched it and I am glad.

Joss deserves his just desserts. C'mon even with all the advertisments that Fox played all over F/X during BtVS reruns -- those alone convinced me just how MUCH the show would tank!

From the Firefly board at www.fox.com/firefly :

"I'm sad to report that Firefly has been canceled. Tim and Joss both reported it, and are very sad [...]"
_____

Oh, stop crying, Joss! It's only a tv show, nothing that really matters.

You're going to miss the cast and crew so much?

Hey, they just worked for you, you payed them for it. It was just a job. They're not your family. They don't love you. Get over it!

You put your heart and soul into the show? It meant so much to you?

Well, Fox didn't care about their viewers' issues when they introduced the show, so they shure as hell don't care about your issues when they cancel it.

How these evil bastards of Fox could do that to you?

They aren't evil, Joss. It hurts them as much as it hurts you. They had some sleepless nights before the cancellation and it made them almost physically ill. But because of that they knew it was the right thing to do.

They should have seen its beauty? Its potential and uniqueness?

I don't get your point. They've seen it's beauty. They've watched The Train Job again and knowing that it won't last a whole season made it even more beautiful.

After all you've done for them... ?

Now you're getting hysterical, Joss. They don't owe you anything. It's just business. Selling soap. Nothing more.

Time to move on.
