Its Happy Anniversary Monday MKF!

Postby WebWarlock » Mon Jul 22, 2002 1:10 am

On this day, seven years ago I said I do to the most wonderful woman in the entire world.
We were married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and everything was perfect. No family, friends or anything else, just us. It was one of the best days of my life. The birth of my son ties it for the number one spot.

Natalie and I normally celebrate our on anniversary by going to our favorite sea food place in the Chicago burbs (Bob Chin's for you Chicagoians out there). So todays question is what would our girls do (other than the obvious!) to celebrate anniversaries? Which ones would they celebrate? Not just wedding, but first kiss, first I love yous, the obvious

Hope you all have a great day! This has always been a great day for me in the past.

Well I hope you'll have a great day now as well and many more in the future. :)

As for WT, I'd like to think they'd celebrate the day of their first kiss by reliving it again and again and again. And then of course they would continue to celebrate the first time they made love, though, like the kissing, I am sure they celebrate that every day as it is. Several times per day. :grin

Happy Anniversary!

I think Willow and Tara would do what my sweetheart and I do. We celebrate the day we first knew of each other (through letters not email!), the day we first met in the USA, the day we exchanged rings, the day we came back to the UK to live. June for us is a riot of anniversaries! And we'll celebrate our wedding too when the UK change that law!!

Have a great day!

I think W/T would have a quiet romantic dinner, maybe spend some time looking at the stars, holding hands, reminiscing about all the things everyone else said, when they first met, their first kiss, the first time they made love..Then they would go back to their room and relive all those again..

Congrats WebWarlock, My parents just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Dec, they love each other very much, still hold hands all the time...I hope you and your wife have many many more happy anniversarys and may your love for each other be timeless as well...

Congratulations Web Warlock, you are very blessed to have found someone special :)

As far as W/T, i think that they would enjoy a nice dinner, reminising about the firsts in their relationship, enjoying a romantic walk together, and returning home to make love

Ooh, Happy Anniversary to WebWarlock and Mrs. WebWarlock :D

As for W/T, I think they'd celebrate all kinds of anniversaries. I imagine things like first date, first kiss, the point when they really committed to being a couple, if they'd gotten more time I imagine getting *back* together would have turned into an anniversary as well.

Can I say I wish we'd gotten to see more of these firsts? Sigh.

Awww...Happy Anniversary Web Warlock. I hope that you have a wonderful day. And I wish you many more years of happiness.

Willow and Tara seem to be the couple that would celebrate all the little things. I think that they would have a nice romantic dinner at home. Go out, lay back and look at the stars. Then i think that we're all in agreeance about them going back home and reliving it all.

Awwwhappy anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Warlock and may you celebrate many more!

As far as Willow and Tara are concerned, I would have to go along with the majority opinion. I think they would spend a romantic evening together over a candlelight dinner and reminisce about all their memorable moments. Then they would go outside to view the Big Pineapple and return home to make love all night long. Sounds like a nice way to celebrate an anniversary to me.

As for W/T, I agree with everyone else, they would celebrate all their firstsmeeting, kiss, I love you, making love, etc...by having a romantic candlelight dinner and maybe a long walk or a little stargazing, then of course they would relive all of those firstsover and over again :grin

Happy anniversary Web Warlock :)

It is an anniversary of sorts for me tomorrow as I will have been in the US for a whole year. My how time does fly.

I'm sure Willow and Tara would celebrate in the most romantic way possible, unless the decided to skip it and just kiss.

Have a great Monday Kitties.

And Puff, too! :grin

The Kitten's anniversary is coming up before too long, I think. As is the one-year anniversary of my quitting the oven business. My, how time flies.

I used to work at DACOR, manufacturer of "high end" (aka expensive) kitchen appliances. I ran the quality assurance department for several years, and a year ago I was in charge of a large portion of the engineering department.

Then we got new management and I was told that my performance would be evaluated based on my ability to force people into working twelve-hour days and weekends. That's when I had my "take this job and shove it" moment. I actually stormed out in the middle of a meeting, left my company cell phone and a brief resignation letter on my desk and walked out. :grin

Anyway, that's why I still go by "BBOvenGuy" - it's kind of a reminder of where I came from.

Happy Anniversary, Tim!

I think W/T would celebrate all of their firsts. I think they would leave each other little notes wishing each other a happy anniversary. I think they would make each other special presents and then, of course, exchange their presents naked in bed. :D

Happy anniversary WW...

I have to say that where the chosen method of celebration is nekkid sexy fun W/T are sure to celebrate everything... They have Willow's diary to remind them afterall. Not that they need an excuse anyway but "one year ago today you had sassy eggs so lets be making with the love thing now" sounds good to me.

And todays word of the day... is [b:3aa271e578]seepage[/b:3aa271e578]

Happy anniversary, Mr. & Mrs. Web Warlock! A happy marriage makes everything else that life throws at you that much easier to bear.

I just realized that the 11th anniversary of my first date with my wife happened over the weekend. We were busy with the local fringe festival and a wedding, so it slipped our minds!

Also, a happy one to Puff and BBOvenGuy. Life changes are funny things, sometimes.

W/T? Yes, a romantic dinner followed by constellation -naming seems to be in order. Besides the obvious thing...

Thanks everyone!!!!

So that is where the Oven came from...always wanted to know that.

We are not gowing to do anything special tonight. I have to teach...
But we did go out over the weekend and that was fun. I told her all the latest Buffy spoiler rumors and her comment was "so, when did they all start snorting glue over there?" Isn't she great! ;)

Looking like rain in Chicagoland today. We need it.

Later!

Warlock!!! Best wishes to you and the Misses on your special day. Anyone could see how evenly matched the two of you are in intellect, humor, and feeling. Such a rare gift [i:f52f4b632c] Bobos Mom sobs at the beauty of love[/i:f52f4b632c]

As for Willow and Tara I have a feeling they would celebrate anniversaries in the same way I hope you two will be with [b:f52f4b632c] sex[/b:f52f4b632c], and lots of it.

And where's that rain?

Let me add my "happy anniversary" to the others here. As for Willow and Tara, season 6 and its addiciton plot aside, I'm thinking W and T would do some magic. Okay everyone, yes THAT kind of magic, but how about the old-fashioned kind, too.

Okay, maybe THAT kind of magic is also old-fashioned, so how about the kind that involves spells?

Hmmm.

Happy anniversary WebWarlock and Mrs. WebWarlock, I hope you have a great anniversary :bounce !

As for the question I think W&T would celebrate all the "first" moments in their relationship (ie first kiss, I love you, made love, and etc). I could see them going away for an anniversary weekend. Somewhere private, close to nature, and just reliving all their first's (and making some new/special memories to relive on their next anniversary).

Happy Anniversary Webwarlock & the Mrs.

i'm thinking that W&T would celebrate the first time they did a spell together ...so would that be Hush night? that would also be the night when Willow proclaim to Tara that "I am"... with the one she loves. *awwwwwwww*

Happy Anniversary to both of you - and many more to come!

The thing is, g/l couples don't usually have a "legal" anniversary to celebrate, so we sort of make do with whatever excuse we can come up with. Back in May I attended a party for a couple celebrating their "25th year together and 1st wedding anniversary" because they had gotten their civil union close to their usual anniversary.

So W/T would probably have a whole list of things they felt worthy of celebrating: first kiss, first spell, coming out to {insert name here}, and so on.

Corky and I are settled on the night that we made our first verbal commitment to each other (7/29/84) as our "official" anniversary date. (I'm planning to use the whole story in a W/T fic I'm working on, so if I ever get up the nerve to post it, you'll have the inside scoop!)

Exactly one week from today we'll be getting our own civil union in Vermont to celebrate our 18th anniversary. We're using the exact date because we're really, really bad at remembering anniversaries. Last year there was something about weddings on television a week afterward and we looked up and said something like, "oh, yeah - Happy Anniversary".

And if the NJ Supreme Court rules in favor of the plaintiffs in the LLDEF suit, maybe we'll get to be married in a "very real and legally binding sense" (to quote Monty Python)!

Darcy,

I get that. That is great on 18 years! I hope that the NJ case works out.
Gay/Lesbian marriages are a big issue right now in the Illinois govenor elections. Both of the main canidates are saying different things to the downstate voters (read hicks, hey I am from downstate IL I can say that) and Chicago area ones. But my feeling is neither one will do a damn thing.

Actually, I know they wont. My family is pretty well politically connected and they are telling me that nothing will come of this.

So Illinois voters, I guess pay attention to the upcomming elections.

We celebrate the anniversary of the day Natalie called me up and suggested that we be more than just "best friends" (Feb 27), the day of our first kiss (March 3), when we first said "I love you" to each other (June 3) and when we got engaged (March 12). Yes I am the one that remembers all of this stuff! ;)

Plus with birthdays and mother's day and everything else I am always buying her a gift or doing something special.

One year I cooked her a sea food feast for her birthday. Broiled crab, salad, shrimp etoufee, and a (small) cheese cake. I am still living off of that good Karma! Last year I bought her a star. Yes there is a star out there in Episolon Picies that is named for her.

Hey for $50 maybe we ought to find a binary star system and have them named "Willow and Tara"! ;)

I could see Tara leaving Willow little notes. Willow would want something elaborate. But in the end as long as they were together and sharing memories (and making new ones) they would be happy!
