Re: me crying: short answer, I cry when I'm upset. Longer answer: I become extremely upset when I can't reach someone, no matter what I say. The whole year-long agony of conflict/separation/divorce w/ my ex provoked [i:dd261cb68e] many[/i:dd261cb68e] tears. A close second would be the numerous times my parents have made me cry, when I couldn't make them understand how much they were hurting me <getting choked up as I type . . . moving on!>
If I had to give one single reason to go on living, it would be to live long enough to experience Tears of Joy. I can imagine them, fantasize about them often. But to actually cry them . . . Needless to say, it would have to be caused by/in the presence of the Beloved: may I meet her [b:dd261cb68e] SOON![/b:dd261cb68e]
When I think of movies that have made me cry (or choke up: I don't think there were actual tears), I think that they were a combination of sorrow and joy: [i:dd261cb68e] E.T.[/i:dd261cb68e] and [i:dd261cb68e] Brief Encounter[/i:dd261cb68e].
The music video of "Born in the USA" when Bruce howls as the camera pans across Arlington [i:dd261cb68e] always[/i:dd261cb68e] makes me lose it.
Buffy "choke up" moments: I didn't cry during [i:dd261cb68e] The Body[/i:dd261cb68e] but I have the special circumstance that my spouse left me a few hours earlier . . . I quite literally had no tears left.

However, at the end of [i:dd261cb68e] Forever[/i:dd261cb68e], when Buffy said that if she stopped, her mom was really gone . . .
As far as WT: I'm not sure. The end [i:dd261cb68e] Tabula Rasa[/i:dd261cb68e] was depressing, but it didn't make me cry. As for [i:dd261cb68e] Seeing Red/Villains[/i:dd261cb68e]: feh, I don't like to think about it. Alyson was brilliant, but I was/am too busy feeling mad about it to feel sad (although it could almost provoke tears of anger).
Back to that sorrow/joy combination: although it was very brief, and set amidst the drama of Buffy's sacrifice, the scene in [i:dd261cb68e] The Gift[/i:dd261cb68e] where Willow and Tara reunite after regaining Tara's sanity is beautiful, and a rare time where we see (I think) Tara crying along w/ Willow.
Good [i:dd261cb68e] :::sniff!:::[/i:dd261cb68e] topic!
