Not really, i just wanted to get your attention My question for this daily thread would be if W/T could meet anyone they wanted to, who do you think they would choose to meet, past or present? The kittens can also include the person or persons you would like to meet..

I think Willow would have liked to have met Tara's mother. Not sure who Tara would want to meet. Maybe her favourite poet or writer. For some reason I think Tara would read Barbara Kingsolver's books, as I see Tara as a real nature person.

And I think Tara would want to meet the creator of Buffy so she could express her opnions {edited for viloence}. Of course this is only contignent upon the idea that Tara is a viewer of Buffy and wasn't killed.
Willow would want to meet the creator of Mister Rodger's Neighborhood for her mother Sheila, because she has some beef with King Friday. You know, 'cause he lords all the lesser puppets.

What an interesting question! I'm hard-pressed to think of a better answer for Willow than "Tara's Mom." In fact, don't think I'll even try.

As for Tara, my guess is she'd enjoy meeting Joseph Campbell, author of [i:e350a9cbd0]Hero of the Thousand Faces[/i:e350a9cbd0] and/or maybe Dr. Jean Shinoda-Bolen, who wrote [i:e350a9cbd0]Gods in Everyman[/i:e350a9cbd0] and [i:e350a9cbd0]Goddesses in Everywoman[/i:e350a9cbd0].

Yes, Tara's mom for Willow. I'm not sure about Tara. Willow's parents is a good suggestion, just because it might help her understand more about Willow's weird upbringing and her insecurities.

And Joseph Campbell - man, I've seen a lot of him on our cable lately - like every time I turn it on, he's lecturing. Very interesting speaker.

I just wanted to vent for a moment...and I figured the daily thread is the best place to do so. I quit my job today! Well actually I told my boss that I didn't think I was the right person for the job anymore. I'll give them my notice tomorrow. I've been having a lot of problems at work for a while. The problem is....I love the people that I work with staff and residents. I'm a QMRP....Qualified Mental Retardation Professional. And...I've just fallen in love with my residents...I feel like they are my children. So I'm really torn about leaving them. But I have to tell you all....for those of you who believe in God....or a god....or any higher power. I prayed yesterday...and I told God.....if this is where you want me to stay...then make it to where I have to stay.....but if you think I should go somewhere else...then it's time to go. My boss and I got into a big argument today....which shouldn't have happened....it was actully pretty stupid. But, I think that was my sign that it's time to go. I was actually offered another job this week....but I've been kinda scared to think about it. Well, now I have nothing standing in my way....so I'm going to go for it. Also with this other job....I'll still get to see some of my residents. It's working with the same MR popluation....but it's an Arts Coordinator....so I could really use my music. Anyway...if you've made all the way through this congratulations and thank you for listening.

On a different note I got my grades back today for last quarter and managed to get A's in all my subjects Let's hope I did as well in todays math test.

Congrats, Amy! When I was younger, my folks taught a Sunday School class for residents of a mental retardation home, and I used to help them out. I still have fond memories of many of the people I met there. They were so inspiring. Best of luck in your new job.

I neglected to answer my own question, perhaps cause i was reading the kitten board this morning and made myself late for work Absolutely Willow would want to meet Taras mom and Tara, well i think she would want to meet Willows family, as someone said...

As for me well i would love to meet Amber of course, but not BtVS related, I would like to meet Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, the two stars of Casablanca and tell them it is one of my all time favorite movies..And i would love to be reunited and have a chance to visit with a very good friend of mine who died of aids in 1991..We never really got to say goodbye and he was an awesome person, so i think that would be nice

I think along with the others that Willow would love to meet Tara's mom. Tara I think would like to meet Jesse or Ms Calendar. I mean, of all the important people in Willow's life, her parents aren't up there anywhere. Her real family is Xander, Buffy, Giles, Dawn, Tara, Mrs Summers, etc. And Tara's met them. But she never got a chance to meet Jesse, who was so important along with Xander when she was growing up, or Ms Calendar who really encouraged Will in high school - probably the only teacher who truly realized how special Willow is. So Tara would prolly wanna meet one of them.

I wanna meet some of my fellow kittens and dear friends - Chance, Shaych3, Dreiser...

Oh, oh! And I got to see my best friend today. First time in about a month. Love that girl. Cuz I'm legally changing my name (part of the whole transgender thing), she's cross-stitching me a little birth announcement for my new name.

Who would i like to meet?? There are a few people. Aly and Amber are #1.
Then I'd also love to meet Angelina Jolie. She totally kicks ass. Love her!!!!! She should be on an episode of Buffy. That would rock!!!
