Willow/Tara Word Association Game

Postby BytrSuite » Sat Oct 05, 2002 11:45 pm

The rules of this game:

The last word of the previous quote will be the first word of the next quote. Quotes are to be kept to one line only. They need to be said by Willow or Tara or mention W or T in the sentence. You can use lines that are in the shooting scripts but were cut from the actual episodes. Please name the episode where your quote is from.

If you get stumped and cannot find a sentence starting with the last word, you may use the last letter of the last word and find a quote that starts off with that letter.

I'm starting you off.

WILLOW: I'm overhelping, aren't I? (New Moon Rising)

Willow: it's like all the air just goes out of the room

The Wish (Season 3)

(Is that legal? does it have to be the first word of the sentance? cause nothing starts with air...)

(congrats!)

if it's not then last letter of air, R

Willow: Really? Thanks, I've never gotten a meow before

Tara22 the rules of the game are stated in the first post. We wanted to make it a more difficult than it was, the first quote you posted is the way it was in the last thread, so no, that was far too easy. From now on you have to try and find a quote that starts with the last word from the previous quote or if that is impossible then you can start the new quote with the last letter from the previous quote. But do try, it is supposed to be a challenge.

I'm drawing a blank on 'before' so I'll go with the last letter: 'e'

Tara: Every time I... even when I'm at my worst, you always make me feel special. How do you do that?
(Season Five, 'Family'.....Mwaahahah and in no way did I steal that one from Tara22's signature :grin : )

Going with the letter T:

Willow: The hotness of you, doofus.

Hmm... I'm guessing another quote starting with the word "doofus" is out of the question, but I might be mistaking (better with the Xena quoting and all: no offence).
Anyway, would "Spread beneath my willow tree..." be a valid addition ? (Once more with feeling ;)

Buffy: Tree. Nog. Roast beef. What're you doing?
Willow: Being Jewish, remember?

[b:2669924aa3] [i:2669924aa3] Amends[/i:2669924aa3][/b:2669924aa3]

(I know, it's two lines...but it starts with tree - almost impossible! - and has Willow in it...)

Willow:... remember, you gotta be at the Bronze by eight.
Buffy: Bronze.
Willow: Tomorrow night! Tara's birthday!
(Season Five, "Family"...Am I cheating? I just thought the first line would make absolutely no sense by itself so! Vix84 good memory, I don't think I'd have come up with something for the word 'tree' :) )

[b:2f29e17109] One[/b:2f29e17109] line people, or if it are more lines, then just by [b:2f29e17109] one[/b:2f29e17109] character and those characters have to be Willow or Tara or someone else mentioning Willow or Tara. It's non negotiable. Otherwise it will just become random quoting again.

Okay, since it can only be one line the I think I'm supposed to go from eight but since I couldn't find anything starting with eight I'll take the T.

Tara: Things fall apart, they fall apart so hard...

The quote is from Entropy. I did that right, right?

If you can find a quote starting with the last word then do that. That should be the first thing. It's only when you can't find a quote using that last word that you are allowed to use just the last letter. You also need to state what episode your quote is from.

Willow: Love makes you do the wacky.

i'll take that challenge!
ok, in my mental rolladex there exists no quotes with "wacky" as the beginning word therefore, i move on to the last letter "y." (i also could have used my sig line, but i went for a challenge.)

Willow: [b:c713796cbb] Before[/b:c713796cbb] time, and after. Before knowing and nothing. (From "Bargaining").

p.s. I don't know what the decision is on that re-used quotation, Tara22, but I checked to make sure that what I do with it is different from what the other person did with it, so I hope that it's okay.
