I finished watching the Season 4 DVDs and enjoyed them, but the Lindsay and artist 'relationship' just didn't work. Maybe I'm being shallow but I couldn't understand why a lesbian would be interested in a guy that looked like that. Also what was with Hunter gay one second then straight the next? How about some character development! It felt as if the producers had been instructed to introduce some straight relationships or sex scenes into the show.

But having said that I really enjoyed it and its a pity there's only one more season to go.

Anybody else watching? I'm enjoying it so far, even though - I never thought I'd say that - Brian, grow up already!!! lol

I'm still loving this show, it's sooo much better than The L Word IMO hehe

OMG! Episode 10 and 11 are brilliant! I was most of the time. then at the end of ep 11: even the mel and lindsay stuff was good.
i didn't like the second half of season four and now the beginning of season five that much, but those eps were so worth it sticking with the show.
now i just hope they don't screw up the ending, as some pretty horrible spoilers are flying around.

so, here my probably totally fake spoilers:

justin leaves brian, cause he is going back to hollywood (i think), and there is still going to be a character death, and now i'm all freaked out that it's going to be mikey.

Mikey is in the explosion at Babylon, but everything that I have read, says that he survives. Hunter even comes back or he calls, I can't remember which.

Justin does leave to go to New York, but he has Brian's blessing. They were even going to be married, but it's called off for some reason. Brian tells Justin he loves him. Justin is involved in the Babylon explosion as well, but he's not hurt. Brian freaks out.

Melanie and Lindsay move to Canada, where it's more accepting for gay marriage. I think Emmett goes with them, if I remember correctly. I may have that part wrong.

That's all I remember.

I thought I would add somethings no one has talked about Ted runs into Blake and they look to be getting back together. Emmett runs into someone from his home town and they make it look like they are dating.

Last night's episode was so intense. Wow. I already read the spoiler, so I'm glad I did that so I won't be dying for the next 6 days. Only three episodes left, how's everyone else feeling about that? :

i've just watched eps 8, 9 and 10 and i'm just speechless... had to grab my teddybear for comfort!

this show is fricking brilliant, but i have to wonder: are they trying to kill us or what? jeez... i'm overwhelmed, have to see what's next! please give me a happy ending!!!!

Great ending though, Ted's crazy boyfriend reminded me of one of Rachel's boyfriends (on Friends), the one who yelled at the baby chick anyway lol I digress Brian had to stay "Brian", Justin had to leave, and I loved the various hints at the early eps of the show, stuff that they had said to each other back then, it all came together nicely, and of course they had to finish on Brian at Babylon (I look forward to the DVD extras, making of and such)
Great last season and hey, we got a happy ending for everybody, how's that!!!!!

It all sounds good. I can't wait to see it, but its going to be such a long wait before its released on DVD.

For anyone interested the season 1 DVDs are being rereleased later this month and they'll be much cheaper than the originals.

I just watched Michael meeting Spider-man in Spider-Man 2.

I had completely forgotten Hal Sparks was doing a cameo appearance. It was the best part of the movie.

There's a trailer for the Season 5 DVDs on the L Word boxset. It was supposed to be out last month but's it's going to be May now.

I'm so looking forward to this and pleased to hear that there are happy endings for most of the characters, but what's going on between Debbie and Rosie O'Donnell? Looks like they're getting very friendly.

Debbie and Loretta (Rosie's character) were funny.

Debbie helped Loretta get away from her abusive husband. He caught Loretta kissing one of her female friends and freaked out. Loretta ends up falling in love with Debbie. It's just funny, but Rosie could have been in a few more episodes if I have anything to say about it.

Season 5 was one of my favorites, but I can think of a couple of different ways that the finale could have ended that I would have been happier with.

Anyway...

I can't wait for the season 5 dvds either. I still need 4, but I'll get 5 when they come out.

I'm finally getting round to watching the special features on the last QAF DVDs and it was good to see something about the Trevor Project.

There's also a competition to win a trip to Gay Britain. I wasn't aware that Britain was completely gay but I've had my suspicions.
