Pushing Daisies

Is this the best show on TV or what? I love this show! I really love it. It's just pure sweet pleasure right now. I worry about shows... cause goodness doesn't usually last. We'll see. And Chuck is so cute! Plus, she played a lesbian once so she gets major points!

Wow, I love this show too. What a unique blend of twisted, sick, and cute. Not words that you normally see used together, but they've managed it. Plus, I love that Emerson Cod, Private Investigator, is a knitter. The hand knitted matching sweater vest and gun cozies may have been the funniest thing I've seen on TV. Maybe ever.

I hope it sticks around, too.

Hopefully this will stick around until the post-season is over...I had been looking forward to it but it always seems to be on at the same time as a Red Sox game so I haven't seen it yet...love Kristen Chenoweth though...she's so talented

Oh well, it looks like I'm going to be the one pouring the cold water on this *sigh*

I've seen both episodes and, so far, I'm not terribly impressed. In fact, the show strikes me as an attempt to do a "comic/surrealist" version of Eliza Dushku's "Tru Calling" show.

The rather "arch" narration leaves me cold, and although the actors are obviously talented, the storylines strike me as rather ho-hum.

Perhaps it just doesn't tap into my particular sense of humor......

I love Bryan Fuller and will follow anything he does in order to keep it on the air longer than the season (or less) that he usually gets (and I'm not counting Heroes as one of his. Not because it's bad, but I never got into it).

I missed last week's episode but watched the premiere. I found it cuter than his usual stuff, but I love the writing (c'mon, there's a character called Olive Snook, and a place called Boutique Travel Travel Boutique) and the imagery. Also, I have lots of love for Kristin Chenoweth.

Hopefully it'll last longer than Wonderfalls.

I'm on the fence on this one. Am I the only one who feels that they are really trying too hard for the Twin Peaks Memorial Quirkiness Award?

Still, it is entertaining enough that I'm sticking with it for the foreseeable future...

...and, let's face it...Chuck...wooof! I confess to searching for pictures of her sans clothing. All I'm saying is...not disappointed. :party

Well, Olive Snook does it for me. She is one of the best TV characters ever.
