That was probably one of their more disturbing episodes. Heh. Especially the shots of the actual operations. If I wanted to see that I'd watch a medical program. Sheesh.

Man yeah, I was just munching on some cheese when I saw those images. Not a good combination. This episode has got to be one of the weirder ones and that is saying a lot. It had a few moments that really cracked me up though. Kyle's father as a dolphin was hilarious. I looked at this episode as neutral and analytical as I knew how and I cannot see a positive perspective in it from a transgendered point of view, but so help me if it did not crack me up. Some self mockery is not necessarily a bad thing and I would be lying if I felt natural myself, but so what if I am not. Screw it and in the end Mrs Garrison was ok with herself no matter what she looked like and that is a positive something at least. I wonder how this will continue, will it just be like it never was or will Mr Garrison stay Mrs Garrison. The shitting noises in the toilet cracked me up as well, what is it about bowel movements that stays amusing no matter what.

Mweh, I found the episode less amusing than it sounded beforehand. It helps to have seen the Core and Super Volcano to get some of the jokes, but it did not really amuse me and I usually love anything Cartman does. If I compare this to Cartman´s psychic episode, this one loses by a landslide.

Yeah, this was a weak episode. Usually Cartman centered episodes are funny as hell. This one was just bleh. Hopefully they'll pull it together for the next one.

I just downloaded this episode and like the satanic animals one, it started out slow but got pretty good as it went on.

As someone who dislikes the hippie culture and the 60's movement I found the episode brilliant and a lot of fun. I can see it had too much Core or Armageddon aspects to it, and didn't live up to earlier Cartman highs, but for what it did, I found it solidly decent and pretty amusing.

Damn, where have I been: I didn't know they were into new episodes (I saw the description "Die, Hippie, Die!" and I could have sworn that was an old one).



But I knew "Wing" was new. I tune in, and there's Mr. Garrison w/ breasts and earrings and lipstick, talking about "us girls", and I'm all WHAT THE F*CK???

Edit: I loved the episode, it was very mild South Parkwise, but it cracked me up nonetheless. I like seeing the kids without their hats on. Kyle´s hairdo is just funny as shit. I need to rewatch the episode, because I do not have a clue whether Kenny was in it. Kyle´s cousin is the best of the worst for sure. He even sucks at having to suck.

-The way Butters uses a urinal and pissing in his pants onstage



-The hooker, Nut Gobbler and her 'problem'



-The guy on the motorcycle during the car chase...that poor bastard

I did not think it was as funny as I expected either, but it was still amusing enough. I just do not find Jimmy (unlike Timmy or Butters) funny or interesting enough to carry a whole episode, so the highlights for me were Cartman and Butters antics. I must say that Joe Cocker song will never be the same again after this episode.

Deal Includes 42 New Episodes Of "South Park"

Comedy Central and "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have renewed their contract in a deal that will keep the creative duo at the cable channel through the end of 2008, it was announced today by Doug Herzog, president, Comedy Central.

The deal consists of three more years of "South Park" episodes with 14 new episodes each year. Parker and Stone will continue under the new agreement to write, direct and edit every episode of "South Park" as they have since the creation of the show. New episodes of "South Park" will begin on October 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
