Okay, here's what I'm watching in the new set of 12 and 13-part shows that started last month:
Air TV - Based, I'm told, on a popular dating simulation video game, but don't hold that against the show. The animation is gorgeous, the characters are quirky, and the storyline is weird. I have no idea where it's going, but I'm looking forward to finding out. Currently being fansubbed by several groups, most notably
Lunar Anime and
Koi.
Jinki : Extend - For the second time this season, a silly-robot show surprises me by being about something more than just silly robots. Fansubs available from
ANBU.
Starship Operators - A group of cadets decide to buy their warship and fight when their home world surrenders to a hostile star empire. How do they come up with the cash? By selling the exclusive broadcast rights for their war to a TV network. Pretty silly in spots, but you've got to love the premise. I just keep expecting on of the evil empire guys to say, "At last! Now I'll be rid of those meddling kids and their nosy dog!"

Available from Lunar Anime (see link above).
And of course I'm still following
My HiME. Static Subs has gotten behind with the fansubbed versions, but fortunately there are enough bloggers following the show to fill in what I can't understand watching the raws.
