Sandcastles

The wind whips a small girl's hair,
As gulls squall and fly over land.
The waves crash noisily upon the shore,
As the salty smell of sea invades the senses.

Flinging sand, running down the shore,
The children enjoy an afternoon of controlled chaos.

But one little girl is separate from the res,
An aura of calm emanating from her body.
She sits, quietly humming,
Hands busy working,
Creating,
Imagining,
Building.

The lump of sand in front of her begins to take shape,
Towers, turrets, walls and flags emerging,
A walled city of such magnificence,
It catches and holds the eye.

The girls' brow is scrunched, beads of sweat drip,
Concentration on her creation of perfection.

As her hands fly faster and faster,
The building grows higher and higher,
At last it is complete, with
sand people,
Walls,
moats.

As the sun begins to dip below the sealine,
And the waves creep higher up the beach,
She stands, transfixed with wonder.
Gazing at her masterpiece of sand.

She is saddened by the fact that her work is finished,
She misses the joy of creating.

She hears her mother calling,
and hastens to run to her,
But as she looks back she is shocked to see,
The wind is mightily blowing,
The waves are forcefully crashing,
and her beautiful sandcastle
Is falling,
falling,
falling.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate, Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer's lease hath all too short a date

Sizzling Inferno

Soft brown eyes reassuring,
Warm arms enveloping,
Holding me close, kissing my brow.

Feather light caresses grace my cheek,
While lips move down my jaw,
Skin against skin,
Fires burning,
Blinding, passionate, raw.

Sweet lips touch, tongues begin to dance,
While moans escape our throats,
Panting as we break away, to turn to other parts.

My clothes fall away, as I shed that skin,
My breathing begins to quicken,
As you trace a fiery trail down my body
Hands groping the sheets,
Flames building,
Wanting, needing, hot.

My hips begin to rock with need,
As you tease my body mercisslisly,
Hands rubbing, parting lips,
Tongue licking, sucking, nibbling
Just outside the goal.
Sparks flying,
Driving me mad.

As the sensations barely begin,
Fingers trace the wetness,
The sweet aroma wafting through the air.

Finally, the torture stops.
My body opens, and you slip inside.
Swirling, licking, slurping.
Flicking, sucking, pulsing.
Unintelligable sounds emerge from my throat,
eyes lock with yours,
Fire dances,
Pleading to hurry.

My hips buck wildly against you,
Your voice vibrates against my womanhood,
As colors begin to flash before my eyes,
You enhance the speed, the force, the love.

Slipping, sliding against my thigh,
We come to the top together,
Floating there as one.

We flutter down together,
Our limbs messily entangled.
Whispering sweet nothings known to no others,
Chests rising and falling in sync,
Eyes expressing the depth of our love.
Embers cooling,
Hearts beating together.

The War Within

Anger boiling
Hatred seething
Annoyance pounding
Happiness seeking

All vying for control,
Of my mind, my heart, my soul.

Anger strikes a furious blow,
Hatred pours in, taking pieces along the way.
Annoyance bites, sharp teeth gnawing
Happiness glows, trying to encircle
The battered pieces of my soul.

Who shall win this glorious fight?
Will I ever know?
