Hi all. I used to write poetry a while back, only posted in a yahoo group. I've been writing alot lately and decided for some strange reason that I wanted to post again. I hope you all enjoy.




"I Need You"

Touch me
I want to feel you
On me
In me
Loving me
Show me that you're real
That you're still here
With your skin on mine
Your lips on my lips
I want to get lost in you
Surround me
With your body
Your love
Look at me
Tell me that you love me
You won't ever leave
Call my name
I need to hear you
Touch you
See you
Let me look into your eyes
Get lost in them
I need to touch your soul
Entwine it with mine
I'm only safe with you my love
Hold me close
Keep me warm
I need you

Apocalypse
Hello darling
The sky is blue today
I so wish you could see it
It doesn't know that your light is gone
Your love, and smile, and laugh
All gone
You're gone
I don't understand
How the world keeps spinning
It all ended
It all ended in that moment
When you took your last breath
When I saw your heart on my shirt
When you left me baby
My heart stopped when yours did
Why am I still here?
There was an apocalypse
And for some reason
The only world that ended
Was mine

That was so angsty....but soooo good. You really pulled some raw emotions into that piece. Awesome. I could feel the anguish inside the spaces of your words.

i wrote a peom that you can all mock me for :

I see you around,
I hear your sound,
I smell your sent,
And I relent,

The day you came into my life,
That was the day you held the knife,
To my chest, into my heart,
I thought from then we'd never part.

And once again the world said 'no',
And now I watch you down below.
You smile, you laugh then look up,
And see me at my window all shut up.

As you look a tear falls for me,
And the fun way life used to be,
The way we were way back then,
Now Im all alone in my den.

Do you wish we could be the same?
Or did you think it was just a game?
You took my heart and with one blow,
You smashed it up untill it flowed.

Now I think you feel sad,
About the life you could have had,
But its ok im a fool,
You wont even have to grovel.

I'll take you back and we can see,
If this is how its ment to be.
Now I hope that we are clever
And learn we're ment to be together.

I think we can all relate to that. And that is one of the many beauties of this poem: you have taken a situation which is clearly personal to you, but put it into words which resonate with so many of us.

not to um be rude, or um stingy...but um. this thread was kind just meant for um, my poems. i kno i dont have much. but it's kinda just, well mine and its hard so if anyone else wants to start their own thread it would be um better for me. sorry. i dont have much that's mine that i can just go to and get feedback. but please dont be mad or hate me....

Trust me.
Close your eyes,
And let me in.
Feel the warmth
Of my hand
Run across you skin
Relish in my touch
Tracing your curves
Painting my love
On you, my canvas
