So.....you want my honest opinion?.... :eyebrow okay.....

I think he's hilarious! hahahah I couldn’t help but crack up the moment I looked at him...I think it's his mouth that makes him so humorous...but I could be wrong...it could be the waddle thingy under his beak...in any event he's frickin' Funny!! :lol :lmao

now, aside from the hilarity to look at is specifically from an artistic point of view, I think he's very well done. The perspective is excellent and so is the execution of the lines...very cartoony. I don't know if he's an original character or referenced from somewhere else...but in any event he's spectacular!

I'm so glad you posted a new work of art, Sweetie.

i'll be posting my next drawing soon, but first, the replies:

ms emms... hiya! i notice that you seem to be the first one to make with the feedback hehe... anyways... you think he's fricking funny eh? well he thought so too and tried standup comedy but alas! showbiz is not for him! poor fellow... seriously though, i'm glad you think he's very well done... well, i actually saw him in a children's book and i just thought he was the cutest so i just had to do him myself! don't know if he's a work of art though, i'm just trying different things... experimenting and such... thanks again for the speedy post as always!

SJ... hey! i'm glad you think it's comical... don't tell me i told you this, but he was actually trying to be dramatic in that pose... i don't think he quite got the idea, but let's not hurt his feelings ok? it's our secret! seriously though, thanks for the constant feedback... you don't know how much it means to me.

lollipopgirl... hey girl! you think you're in love with him? fall in line! i can squeeze you in around april 2007... he's fully booked with dates... apparently, he's an overnight heartthrob ever since he was interviewed by larry k. for his trist with ms. piggy. haha! anyways... thanks for posting!

willow watcher... WW! hiya! nice of you to drop by! i'm glad you like my drawings! yup, i have many skills! i'm a descendant of xena! har har! anyways... speaking of writing, the rooster and i are doing a collaboration actually. i'm gonna help him write his autobiography! hehe! seriously though... i think i will have to do a lot of sweating and panicking before i get the nerve to try my hand at writing fics let alone post it! anyways, thanks for believing in me, but seriously, i have no talent in that area whatsoever! that's our secret though... everyone thinks i'm perfect! lol! JK!

anyways... thanks you guys! up next is my new drawing. hope you like that one as well.

hey you guys... here it is! drum roll please! hehe...

Image

they are the new dogs in the pound... aren't they the cutest? they would just love to go home with you and tear your house down... i mean tear you with their cuteness and lovableness... you are just gonna love them... so, if you have room for one more dog... or two... or three (they just hate to be separated... i have a scar to prove it, too! [oops! forget i said that!]), give them a home... please take them... i'll even give them to you for free... just take them!!!!

so what do you think guys? any takers? :lol

Well, what can I say? It's important to be prompt. :lol

As for the new drawing, they are very cute and well done. I don't know about taking them home though...they look a little ill mannered. Maybe after they've completed a course at the local DOS (Dog Obedience School) :-D

hey guys... here i am with a new drawing... it seems it's been a while since i posted a drawing here (as pointed by ms emms :lol)... i've been wanting to draw with colored pencils for a while and here is what i came up with tonight... the inspiration for this one is from a card i saw at a local bookstore... i'm sorry if it's a little rough on the edges so to speak... i didn't have too much time to smoothen it out some more... anyways, i hope you still like what you see...

here it is: Image

oh, before i go... a big shout out to ms emms and sj for taking some time to leave feedback... you guys rock!

Oh wow, sweetie. the phrase: ask and you shall receive really seemed to have taken on a whole new meaning.

This new piece is brilliant! it looks so warm and really kind of reminds me of a quilt from Mexico. What medium did you use? cause I almost get the impression that it was pastels this time around...

its definitely beautiful. you are very talented. :glasses

hey thanks you guys! you know, your continued support is what keeps me working harder and doing better... thank you will never be enough...

ms emms wrote:the phrase: ask and you shall receive really seemed to have taken on a whole new meaning.

you know ms emms i can never say no to you and sorry to disappoint you, but i used pencil color for that one... i've actually never tried pastels although my friend gave me a box as a birthday gift years and years ago... they're still there though, ready to spring into action on my whim hehe... i'm afraid i won't be any good with them so i never tried.

and SJ's short messages always brings a smile on my face.

thank you again guys... here is a virtual hug for all the support!

i may have something to post later today... if i can finish it hehe.... another simple drawing with colored pencils...

bye for now.

Ces, you've made my day. I absolutely love your new drawing. And as usual your use of colored pencils is flawless. I am always amazed at what a sense of perspective and depth you are able to add to a piece. It is simply amazing. The horse is wonderful, Ces.

ETA: and I totally understand about not being in the mood to create. Just know that we all love your creations so much and we don't have a problem waiting patiently for the next one.

Wow, these pictures are all fabulous.

One thing that stands out is how you seem to be equally good in a wide range of styles and using a range of different drawing materials.

One that really stands out is the watercolour of the park scene. That's one I'd like to have framed and on my wall :)

Also regarding the two portraits they do show a marked improvement in your drawing ability. The first one (the first one you drew) is a good picture, but the second is a lot better.

I look forward to seeing more of your artwork

Hey Ces :-D

First of all congratulations on being a teeny tinkerbell light now :party

That's a really wonderful drawing Ces and you're right it's a little bit too small. How large is the original btw?? 'cause looking at the orignal will be even more amazing.

Very well done :clap , just wished I had some of your drawing talent. Oh well better get busy with a new wallpaper ;-)
