i don't know if you guys notice, but that is a tiny turtle at the bottom haha!

i've never tried anything like it so be honest... tell me what you think.

My pre-post dibs has turned into late-post feedback. sorry about that.

Wow Ces, what can I say? You continue to blow me away with your drawings. I love them.

What I like best about this one, is the sense of freedom it embodies -- With the loosely sketched trees (perfectly done by the way; not overdone at all) to the watercolor (is it watercolor? you're so seamless it's hard to tell, most times) overlay...simply amazing.

And the turtle perched on the stump is adorable. Though one has to wonder how a turtle of little mobility managed to climb all the way up there. Perhaps some passerby (maybe a bearded old man, hiking or camping in the nearby woods?) saw fit to place him there so that Turtle could marvel at the beautiful view? Perhaps if that is the case, that same passerby will be kind enough to help Little Turtle down on his way back through?

I love your artwork. And once again, sorry for the lateness.

i'm about to post my latest drawing... i've been having a connection problem this weekend and with the storm rampant outside, i guess i had some time to finally do some drawings... but replies first...

fast girl henny: hey there! i'm glad you liked it and you were the first.. i'm happy for you, but emms did do the pre-post dibs haha!

wonder emms: i'm really happy you like my drawings... you and the others' encouragement keeps me going...

and you got me with the turtle thingy... i was the passerby who perched him (yes it's a he) in the stump, but you'll be glad to hear that i did put him down from there and brought him back to his turtle family

sj: that turtle is the cutest little thing i swear! i'm glad you liked it!

I have neglected this forum and consequently this thread as well. My loss, I have missed looking at wonderful drawings, on the upside, I just got to look at a whole boatload of them at once.
You really are an exceptional artist you know, you can draw in completely different styles and different subjects, kudo´s, they are all wonderful.
