hey all..thought I'd post some of my poetry i've written over the years... I'll add new ones when inspiration hits k? hehe here's two for now...



She Sees You



She sees you by and by,

but never really actually seeing you,

‘What am I, just another friend?’ I think,

Another one never notices me,

Could have been my soul-mate if they would have

given it a chance,

Another girl just lets me go without a thought,

Maybe I’m too tall or to ugly, I will never know



Self doubt and lacking confidence,

in the field of romance is my thing,

I’m really not what everybody wants,

Just the second string person

since I can keep a conversation,

When will I meet you, other half?

I know your out there,

but will you blow me off too,

It hurts being lonely and discarded,

Just another being in this godawful place we call earth,

Can I take this long? And meet you to become happy,

I want what everybody else wants,

I want to love and to be loved too…



Destiny Could be True



For you I took a chance,

I shouldn't have came that night,

But I couldn't resist you,

You drew me to you w/your clear string.



But something unknown made it destiny,

We were meant to be,

But for only one night.



We knew it must not be,

But it was done then,

And we don't know if it'll be done again,

For we may meet again.

You've been in my head,

The image of a mermaid in your bed,

I couldn't believe it was you,

But I had to remind you it was you,

A beautiful soul and body laying in your bed.

I left with longing of wonderment,

You were so delicate in bed,

But so strong in my arms,

You made me feel what no other has.

We were meant for that night,

For me to show you what I knew,

And to show myself that I could be strong,

And to show us that destiny could be true.

wow wow and wow again, the Destiny one rocked my socks! I love the poem and I could see it a a song too. I wish i could get back into the lyric writting mode, its hard finding time to sit and think sometimes. Anyway, great poems, hopw you write more please!

Here's a poem my best friend wrote for me in high school. I bugged her for months to write me a personalized poem and this is what she gave me. I'd also like to say I think it's beautiful and makes me cry every time I read it.



Destiny's Path

To: Muse - My Rose(Feb. 2002)

She walks on a path

none to different

crossing bridges turbulent

as a tempest spent

fear and uncertainty mixed

with a kind of longing

Redemption from the prison

she is trapped in, choaking

The love she seeks

finds her home alone

in a heart that is filled

with pain as thick as stone

the three that surround her

cannot help when she is lost

She has to do this by herself

no matter what the cost

But she will pull through

with a deeper love

No one could share in it

destined from above.

Time is what she needs

not instant satisfaction

A kind of deep spell hidden

in an unnatural animal attraction.

Thoughts

Numbly going on automatic,

Not try to feel,

For feeling lets the pain to me,

Must not let consume,

For I have things to do,

and places to be.



Will I ever sit and feel the

calmness of the wind,

To hear the softening crooking

and buzzing of the bugs around?



For society is trying to numb

itself like I did,

There's too much happening

in the world,

Not to feel something about them.



I sit and think,

Diving into the murky depths

of the lake I see in my mind.



Why do these things happen?

I know... all for a reason.

But what if for bad motives?



The world isn't made up of

all good guys you know.

The War proves it so,

On both sides.



Going numb is not always easy,

The switch is far and hard

to turn on.

Forgetting all that you know,

Trusting the body to the

fullest consent,

And ignoring the messages

that float by.

Let the world consume your

body and tell it what to do.

Poems are the greatest when they are to your best friend, the minorty of poemness is to one of the most important people in your life, i wrote a few for my best friend too yay! First poem..no name as of yet for it..maybe you guys could suggest one?? I wrote this when I wasn't to happy...one of my depression spurts..



'I can see black,

I can see rubble,

Why is my life crashing before me?

I can feel pain,

I can feel hurt,

I'm a human being on this earth,

Why was I ever born this way?

I can hear cracking,

I can hear tears,

My bones ache with depression of my soul,

Life is waisting away in my brain,

I can tast truths,

I can taste lies,

My mind just went numb,

Why couldn't I be normal like you?

I can touch bottom,

I can touch hope,

I just wished to dissapear,

Life is so harsh and ugly.'

I’m so glad I found your thread; you have some really fantastic poetry on here! Lovely writing. I really like the first poem you posted ‘She Sees You’, I very much enjoyed reading everything else you’ve posted as well. As far as these latest ones, I wish I could help with naming of the poem but I’m horrible with titles, really horrible. Good luck on one though and hopefully someone else can help. These newest two are wonderful and can I say how much I’ve related to the second one? I hope to read more soon. Keep up with the goodness.

I'm sowie I didn't leave FB sooner, I missed updates...bad me.

But still, Poems! Woo! I like the last two in the latest update, they were kool. I like them a lot. The depressing ness was good too, and I could feel it, probably cuz I've had a shitty day.
