I thought as we all need a little poetry once in a while just to relate to and I write so many that I would share some with you.

This is my most recent one:

You’re the Reason

You’re the reason I go to school,
I just think your really cool.
I saw you one September day,
And in that moment was blown away.

You’d been there 3 years before,
But I am stupid and never saw.
When I first spoke to you,
You gave me hope I never knew.

When you first smiled at me,
You showed me what others couldn’t see.
My best friend knew how I felt,
She said when I looked, she’d see me melt.


We became good friends and I was glad,
But deep down was kind of sad.
I think about you all the time,
Hoping and wishing you could be mine.

‘Will it ever be?’ I asked,
I don’t want this feeling to pass.
If you ever find the answer,
Just tell me
