Very cool update.



It made me laugh so much when Buffy commented on the how the guy blinked when she had said the name Donnie but she wasn't sure if it was him being suspicious or there was something wrong with his eye . And I also laughed when Willow said her concentration flew out the window even though there was no window open . Yes my sense of humour is strange, I think I have a thing for the classics as well.



Can I just say are you trying to kill me buy using Tara and garter stockings in the same sentence again? Not that that wouldn't be a nice way to die with Tara looking sexy on my mind.



The part with Daniel was quite sad but I like the way he picked up on the gleam in Willow's eye. However this was followed by him putting doubts in Willow's mind about Tara which was all sorts of bad. Loved Anya I think she is just awesome.

I can't wait to see how the case turns out. I don't think that Tara has lied to Willow but she is definitely holding back some info. I love how you have used the other scoobies. They work as a team something I haven't seen in the show in a long time. Also, your characterization fits even with the really different setting. I liked the Oz stuff. He's still Oz but with a much darker edge. We saw a bit of that when Veruca showed up. Great stuff!

Great Update!! I too am intrigued by the "Eye of the Raven". I'll bet it's made of the stuff of dreams. I love Bogarty being a pawn shop owner. It's amazing how you have integrated so many characters from the buffyverse into the hard boiled world of Red the PI.

You write love scenes with so much passion. And the mystery in the whole story is palpable. There’s a little something about Tara and the full extent of her involvement with this whole jewel mess and what not that I still cant shake off. Maybe I’m just being paranoid. I hope so.

nika, this fic has the touch. I've said it before but you aren't just placing our girls in a situation and writing smut, you are letting the situation come to it's natural conclusion. So much drama and tension and sensuality can only lead to the kind of love making you write.



But it isn't just that, you've cast Anya perfectly as well as Oz. That was terrific, I've never read an oz like that but it completely suited the situation.

Somehow I got sucked into this fic and I'm totally loving it. I'm not usually a fan of gangster and PI stories - I guess I wasn't watching (reading) the right ones And I chuckle every time Willow calls Tara 'kid.' For some reason that just cracks me up.



And I have such a vivid image of Willow and the way she is dressed - I'm reduced to this
