WickedReds - Don't worry Spira is safe...for now, ;) *laughs* I had to make the girls unconfortable before they left, and how better to do that, than having their twins screaming in pleasure. :D

Egnalos - Here ya go, here's the update...but it's only got the discriptions of what the group looks like ;)

Chapter Twenty-Nine: Another Summon

After Willow and Tara appeared on the ship, Buffy set the auto-pilot to the next destination, and sat down on Faith's lap watching as Tara read and re-read the piece of paper. Willow was leaning over the chair arm reading along, as Donald watched them.

"Well? What does it say?" Faith was the one who asked raising her eyebrows in question.

Report Two

It is my duty to expose what this darkness really is.

I shall conduct the following experiments:

Extract the darkness from a person's heart. Cultivate darkness in a pure heart. Both suppress and amplify the darkness within.

The experiments caused the test subject's heart to collapse, including those of the most stalwart. How fragile our hearts are! My treatment produced no signs of recovery.

I confined those who had completely lost their hearts beneath the castle. Some time later, I went below and was greeted by the strangest sight.

Creatures that seemed born of darkness... What are they? Are they truly sentient beings? Could they be the shadows of those who lost their hearts in my experiments?

D'Hoffryn

"That's it!" Buffy asked and shivered. "Creatures born of darkness? I don't like the sound of that, one damn bit!"

Willow took the paper and placed it with the other, "You're not the only one. I mean, sure, we can take on creatures that work for the darkness...but being born from it is a different story."

"No wonder they're so damn hard to kill, and why they can just keep attacking after we've killed several groups of them." Faith leaned her head back, rubbing her face.

"I still want to know what happened to D'Hoffryn-- Donald do you know anything about him?" Tara looked over at the pacing duck.

"No, the first time we heard of him was from you twins in Traverse Town."

Goofy sat up and looked from Willow, to Tara, "What about your world? Spira, is that's what it's called?"

"Yeah," Willow nodded. "and right now, we know it's safe...I hope we can get to Maleficent before she moves to our world."

"Don't worry, it's like Tare said, if something happens someone on the Farplane will let us know." Buffy said knowing it was true, but couldn't help but worry, herself.

Truth be told, the four young women were worried, Spira was their home, their world, and if anything happened to it, well they just didn't want to think about that. If the Heartless attacked, and destroyed Spira, the Heartless was going to have four very powerful pissed off women on their ass. Come hell or high water, I'll kill every Heartless I see! Willow thought and could see the same thoughts reflected in the others eyes.

Right now the girls were fine with visiting other worlds and sealing the keyholes to keep them safe, and if they did get to visit Spira sooner, it would make them feel better. But they couldn't just run home if it wasn't in danger just yet, and had to settle for knowing the Fayth, Mythe, and the others on the Farplane was watching over their world.

The group of six were so deep in thought they nearly jumped out of their skin, or feathers, depending on who it was, when the alarm went off. Buffy stood and looked out the windshield, and saw the new world just ahead of them. Buffy was setting the teleporter when she looked up and gasped, catching everyone's attention.

As everyone looked at the new world they knew they were too late, as a wave of darkness engulfed the world. "Danger." The ship's computer spoke causing Buffy to look at the control panel readouts, and grab her belt.

"Buckle up!" Buffy shouted as another set of readouts were being printed. "Now!"

Knowing that the Al Bhed knew what she was talking about, the others hurried back to their seats, and snapped their seatbelts in place just as the world exploded. The ship rocked from the force, and was pushed back as a powerful shockwave hit them.

Everyone on board was gripping the chair arms so hard their knuckles were turning white, as the ship rolled five, six, seven, times, and was flipped over just as many times. The shaking, rolling, and flipping stopped after what felt like an eternity, but was only more like fifteen seconds.

Tara unsnapped her belt and stood, stepping forward she fell into Willow's arms, and cried, "We were too late...how can they do that to those worlds?"

"Because," Willow whispered, "They have no hearts, they don't care who and what they hurt."

"This can't be happening!" Buffy shouted angrily hitting the back of the pilot's seat with her fist. "Shiva, damn it all!"

Faith pulled Buffy into a gentle embrace, kissing the top of her head, "Those damn Heartless! I'll kill every last one of them!" she growled.

Donald and Goofy had lowered their heads, and began to silently cry, it was then the group tensed as a light appeared in the center of the bridge. Thinking it was the Heartless, Willow and Buffy gripped their blades, Tara, Faith, and Donald readied a spell, and Goofy raised his shield.

When the light died down, they blinked, and blinked again. There floating...no, he wasn't floating, he was flying, and he was using giant ears to hover, was a small gray elephant.

"Hello, I was told to come here by the Fairy Godmother." The baby elephant said as he landed on the floor.

"Umm...okay." Buffy watched the little elephant approach Tara, and had to rub her eyes.

First thing Tara did, was to look at Willow before she kneeled down. "She told you to come here? Why?"

"She said I could merge with you, what's that?"

Understanding crossed Tara's face and she smiled, "That my little friend, is when you live inside me for a while, and I can call upon you to help me in battle. Would you like to do that?"

"I would live inside you?"

"Yes...actually, you would be inside my head, and like I said, you could help out in battle, but only if you want too."

"Wow, I could carry you around, and keep you out of the reach of those monsters!"

Tara giggled, "What's your name? Mine is Tara."

"My name is Dumbo. Nice to meet you, Tara."

"Nice to meet you, too, Dumbo." Tara scratched the baby elephant's trunk, "And this is Willow, my wife, those two over there are Faith and Buffy, and the two guys are Donald and Goofy."

Dumbo smiled up at the girls and giggled when they pat his head, "Nice to meet you." He said as Donald and Goofy approached, Goofy laughed and shook the trunk, as Donald grinned, and waved.

The elephant turned and wrapped his trunk around Tara's hand, as he looked up. "Are you ready?" she asked gently squeezing his trunk to assure him.

"Yeah."

"Okay, close your eyes and concentrate on becoming one." Tara whispered, and could feel the warm light rush over her body as Dumbo disappeared.

Willow almost jumped the two steps between them, and grabbed Tara as she swayed from side to side. "You alright, baby?"

"Fine, but whoa! For such a little guy, he sure is packing a lot of power." Tara giggled. "He said 'Cool! My own private pool to play in'." For just a moment a sad looked crossed Tara's face, right before a determined one replaced it. We'll get your mommy back. That I promise you.

It was an hour later when the alarm went off again, this time startling the group from their dozing. They looked out the windshiled, and prayed not to see this world explode like the last; their prayers were answered as the new readouts showed the Heartless wasn't close to the keyhole, just yet. Buffy set the teleporter and followed the others into it, and disappeared from the bridge.

Both Willow kept her eyes forward as the group appeared, and saw a set of twelve-foot tall iron gates, with pointed tips. A chill ran down her spine, causing an involuntary shiver. This world wasn't like the others; it somehow felt darker, more nerve-racking.

For some off reason it was completely dark, too, the full moon hung in the sky looking down upon the group like they were to be dinner. Great, now I think the moon's gonna snack on us. You're losin' Will!

It was then something flashed, not real bright, just a reflection of the silver moonlight off of something shiny, but it caught Willow's attention nonetheless. Turning her head to the right, her eyes bugged out as her mouth fell open. And just out of reflex she closed her eyes, squeezing them tightly, and chanced another look. Nope it was still there!

If it hadn't been so damn scary, the current scene would have been oddly amusing. Donald and Goofy were staring at one another like they'd just seen a ghost. Considering what they looked like at the moment, it just might as well been a ghost that'd jumped out and went 'Boo!'."

Goofy was wearing a dark pantsuit, with a white bloodstained dress shirt, and black shiny shoes. Donald could only guess as to where the blood came from, but it could only have come from the knife sticking out of Goofy's chest. That was the reason Donald was staring at Goofy the way he was.

Goofy didn't know who the oddest of the group was, especially if it came down between Donald and Buffy. Case in point, Donald's once white feathers were now a bright orange, and he also had a giant evil looking pumpkin around his mid-section, plus he had a butcher knife stuck in the top of the pumpkin.

Now as for Buffy, Goofy really felt sorry for the poor girl, seeing as this was her first time seeing anything like they'd been seeing. The Al Bhed girl had oddly enough turned pink. All over. Pink skin, pink frizzy hair, and for some strange reason, pink eyes. Buffy looked down at herself horrified. Why the hell am I pink?!

What Faith was wearing was just plain weird. A pair of gray slacks, with a gray dress shirt, and both looked like she'd just crawled out of a grave. She plucked at a piece of thread on the shirt, and was surprised when a three-inch section of the shirt fell off.

As for what had scared Willow was the way Tara looked. Her cloths had changed from the short shorts, and tight white shirt, to a dark red shirt, and baggy black pants. Looking closer Willow could see the shirt wasn't completely red, it had a few white spots here and there, and it hit her, the red was blood.

Glancing at Tara's confused face, Willow gave her a small smile before studying her head, where a double-edged ax was sticking out from the left side of her head. What the hell?! Oh, baby, I hope that doesn't hurt!

Even though Tara was still confused as to what was wrong with Willow, she was closely studying Willow's new outfit, and liking it very much. Instead of her overalls, she now had on a pair of skin-tight black leather pants, and a halfway unbottoned black leather vest, that was showing off the sides of her breasts. But what really confused Tara, who at that moment had taken her eyes from the leather, was the sharp looking fangs Willow now had. What the...

Chapter 30

Chapter Thirty: Guillotine Square

After getting a good look at everyone, everyone that is except Tara, Goofy glanced around and was the first to speak, “This place sure is spooky, I bet the people here are spooky-lookin’ too.” His voice snapped the others out of their dumbfounded thoughts.

Donald shrugged, “We look spooky, too. If they scare us, we’ll just scare them right back!” the duck grinned, causing his pumpkin to smile evilly.

“Spooky!? Spooky!?” Buffy shouted franticly, “We look weird!” The Al Bhed stopped and blinked, “No! You look spooky, I look like a freak!” she shouted again, feeling like breaking down and crying, why her? Why did she have to be pink? What had she ever done to deserve being pink!?

Tara reached over and gently squeezed the shorter blonde’s shoulder, hoping to calm her down just a little, “Buffy, it’ll be alright.”

“How can you sa-” Buffy had turned and spoke, only to stop as her eyes went wide.

Up until Tara had turned and placed her hand on Buffy’s shoulder, no one but Willow had gotten a real good look at her -and now that they did, their eyes grew just as wide as Buffy’s. Faith was known for being, at the very least, somewhat collected, never running from danger, or from anything that was considered scare -she always hit everything head-on. But as soon as she’d laid her eyes on Tara and saw the axe sticking out of her head, she did what any battle-hardened-red-blooded-Spiran would do…she fainted.

The dull “SMACK” of Faith’s body hitting the ground at Donald and Goofy’s feet didn’t seem to disturb them -both were still too busy staring at Tara to care. Neither one could figure out just why in the hell there was an axe sticking out of her head. And neither could say a word, but seeing as their mouths were moving with no sound coming out told anyone watching they lost their voices for the time being.

“Faith?” Tara blinked as she stared at her one time guardian on the ground, and her voice caused a couple of things to happen at the same time. One, Buffy shouted, “Tara! Holy Shiva! Your head!” she grabbed Tara’s left arm.

“Oh, baby!” Willow came out of her freaked out haze, “Does it hurt? Shiva, that’s gotta hurt!”

Tara for her part didn’t know what was wrong with her wife, and cousin, not to mention Faith still laying on the ground -and Donald and Goofy staring at her, “What?”

“Will!” Buffy’s frightened eyes turned to her second sister, “Get a potion! She’s gonna bleed out if we don’t heal her!” her frantic voice worried Tara, but what worried her even more was Willow -who was now trying to make her drink a potion.

Tara shook her head, “I don’t want it, I don’t need it!” she gently pushed Willow’s hands away, and gave the two girls a look, one that said you’re both nuts, “Give it to Faith, she’s the one laying on the ground!”

Faith groaned, but did not sit up…or even move.

“WHAT!?” Donald finally found his voice, “You got an axe sticking out of your head, and you don’t want a potion! You don’t want to be healed?!”

Tara blinked, “What are you talking about? I feel fine and there’s nothing wrong with my hea-” the blonde stopped as she raised her hand, and felt the axe handle…and went weak in the knees.

“SEE?!” Both Willow and Buffy screeched, “You’re bleeding out!”

Faith groaned again, and this time moved, “What in hellfire…” she sat up, then her eyes went wide, “Tara!” in a flash she stood, “Shiva, get a potion!”

“That’s it! Stop it!” Tara shouted, “I feel fine.” she said more calmly, “Okay, since we all look…odd… This is the way I look, so there’s nothing to worry about.” the blonde sighed, after knowing it was there, she could feel the axe in her head, and tried not to let it bother her.

After another five minutes of the entire group studying the axe, they moved toward a tall wrought iron gate. The gate creaked as it opened, sending chills down their spines, and they entered into the town square -white ghosts with sharp claws floated around a large guillotine.

An odd looking man stood atop a set of steps, “And now, allow me to introduce the master of terror, the king of nightmares -Jack Skellington!” he shouted, and from a wall a tall and very thin skeleton wearing a pen stripe suit appeared, and waved. The man turned toward the skeleton named Jack and clapped, “Bravo, Jack! Bravo! Those ghosts will be a big hit at this year's Halloween!”

Jack bowed and waved once more, “Thank you, mayor, thank you! But their movement still needs work.” He said and glanced towards the dark sky, “It's not scary enough. I want to strike bone-chilling terror. I'm going to consult the doctor.” The skeleton waved once more, and hurried off towards a small door, and stepped inside.

The mayor watched Jack leave, and looked around, “Then I'll go attend to the decorations.”

“Think we should follow the skeleton?” Faith asked and received nods. The group walked through the same door Jack had disappeared into, and up a flight of stairs.

“I don't understand.” Jack said thoughtfully as the group entered the lab, “Maybe the guidance system was damaged in the explosion. What do you think Doctor Finkelstein?”

An odd looking man in a wheelchair moved toward the skeleton, “Nonsense. My devices are always perfect!”

Jack though fro a moment then an idea popped into his head, “Oh, I've got it! Why of course! The Heartless need a heart!” he shouted, “Doctor, do you think we can add a heart to that device?”

The doctor nodded, “Certainly. A heart's not all that complicated. Let's get to work.”

Jack picked up a heart with a keyhole, “To make a heart, first take a container with a lock…”

“We need the key to this thing first!” Finkelstein said and looked up at the group in the doorway.

Buffy raised her Keyblade, “You're really gonna unlock it for them?” Donald asked surprised.

“Sure. I mean, why not?” The Al Bhed grinned, “If they succeed, we won't have to fight the Heartless, right? Besides, I want to see the Heartless dance, too. Don't you?”

Donald shuttered, “Not really.” he shook his head.

“Oh, well.” Buffy shrugged, and commanded the Keyblade. A beam shot toward the keyhole, but nothing happened, causing the group to sigh.

“My! That was amazing! Uh, and you are…” Jack had began off happy enough, but stopped short, he did not know the group. The group introduced themselves, “Well, well done, Buffy. I’d like you girls, Donald and Goofy to be part of this year’s Halloween.”

“Just what is the Heartless doing here, anyway?” Faith asked as she stared at a Heartless ghost on the metal table.

Jack smiled, “Oh, the Heartless came to town just recently. What's frustrating is I can't get them to dance with me. So the doctor and I are trying to improve the guidance system. He's quite a genius!” As he spoke, Jack became bouncy and excited, then he turned toward Doctor Finkelstein, “Okay, Doctor, let's continue. The ingredients for a heart: Pulse. Emotion. Terror. Fear. Hope and despair. Mix them all together, and we have a heart!”

Doctor Finkelstein moved his electric wheelchair to a lever near the table and activated it; the ghost flopped around a moment, then fell still. “It failed!” Jack sadly spoke as he shook his head.

“Maybe we're missing some ingredients. Let's try adding memory.” Doctor Finkelstein opened the lid on his head and touched his brain -freaking the girls out, and causing both Donald and Goofy to shiver. “Sally! Sally! Good-for-nothing girl! Don't know why I bothered creating her!” Finkelstein said as he closed the lid on his head, “Sally's got the memory we need. See if you can track her down.”

“No problem.” Jack said and turned to the group, “Would you all like to come along?”

Willow nodded, “Sure.” she said, they needed to find the keyhole to this world and seal it before the Heartless could get to it -and what better way than to have a guide.

The group followed Jack and exited the Lab, once outside they saw the mayor running toward them, “Jack! Jack! We have a major crisis! The Heartless are completely out of control! We can't stop them!” He shouted as he tried to catch his breath.

The skeleton looked thoughtful for a moment, then snapped his fingers, “Hmm... Maybe our experiment triggered something. Everything will be fine, Mayor. You have nothing to worry about.”

As the mayor ran off, back to the safety of his home, the girls glanced around the square, “Where to, Jack?” Tara asked as she tried to feel for the darkness.

“Well,” Jack pointed towards a small alcove to their right, “The Graveyard is that way, so that would be the best place to start looking.”

“Alright, to the Graveyard it is.” Willow said and stepped in front taking the lead, with Faith right beside her.

Ok let me see... :hmm this was an animated movie right? because if it is I knew said movie by the name of "El mundo mágico de Jack" (well you have to understand that I've seen almost every Disney movie in it's spanish version so...) and I saw it a long time ago (well no so much but still I didn't remember), that's why I was confused, and I have to confess that I don't remember much about it, but I do remember Jack.

I wanna read more and I know I'll remember, oh! and the heartless in this world must be more disturbing than before right?

Well... more soon?

Chapter Thirty-One: Getting the Memory

The group had carefully walked up the steps and opened the gate at the top, pushing the gate open, Buffy stepped through first and looked around. They had entered a graveyard, a dark graveyard with a closed coffin toward the back surrounded by tombstones.

Buffy could hear something breathing hard and looked around, there was nothing, and unless the Heartless had somehow became invisible, there was nothing there. Willow, too, heard the breathing, and was looking around the area, keeping her guard up, and gripping her blade.

There was nothing behind any of the tombstones, so what was she hearing? The only other thing was the dark purple colored stone creatures sitting on top of the brick fence posts, and nothing else. She quickly turned when Goofy was knocked forward by an unseen attacker. Buffy and Donald had been so much on edge they let a Flare and Thundaga spell fly as soon as Goofy had hollered.

It would have been funny at any other time, but at that time it wasn't. Being in a new world always meant new kinds of Heartless, and if being in a dark graveyard knowing the Heartless were somewhere close by did put you on edge, knowing you'd run into a new one you hadn't seen would.

Faith was next to be hit, and fell forward with long bloody claw marks on her back. What what doing this? And why couldn't they see them? Even Jack, who knew the place like the back of his skeletal hand had no idea as to what was going on, and was looking just as confused as the others.

Tara closed her eyes, and calmed her speeding heart. She could hear it; the heavy breathing, but there was something else, what was it? It sounded like one of those giant birds from Spira, a Zu, and Tara's eyes snapped open going wide.

The flapping of wings is what she heard, slowing raising her head she turned her eyes toward the sky and saw them. There were maybe eight of the dark purple creatures circling them, she couldn't tell really, seeing as how they could cross and recross paths.

The new flying Heartless was just one of their problems since after Tara had spoted them, shadows, ghosts, and slodiers had begun appearing in groups. Jack had attacked the three shadows that had attacked him first, and jumped into the air twirling around, and kicking the shadows away.

Goofy smaked and resmacked one of the soldiers on the head, and then knocked it into the brick fence where it disappeared with a pop. Donald cast a Thundaga spell on one of the flying creatures as it nosedived toward him, and was knocked off course, and slammed into another flying creature. Both creatures fell to the ground and smashed into two of the ghost, causing all four to disappear.

Willow back flipped away from a ghost as its claws tried to take her head off, and then side flipped to the left to avoid an attack from a soldier. Bringing her sword down on the soldier, Willow thrust her left hand out, and cast a Flare spell sending the ghost into Faith's waiting blade.

Faith had just killed off one of the flying creatures, and had kicked one of the shadows into the air knocking down a ghost just as Willow's attack sent one flying at her. Her blade came down severing the ghost in half, as she turned and severed the head off of a shadow.

At first Buffy had been calm, she'd started casting and recasting, and then doublecasting, Thundaga, Blizzaga, and Flare spells, and could feel her inner Mana disappearing. It was then she began throwing mixes, Firestorm, Winter Storm, Thunderbolt, and Flash Flood's.

She just like the others were being worn down, this was worse that in Ariel's world, they could see no end to the Heartless, where as in the last world they'd stopped appearing after five or six groups.

Tara glowed for a moment and did something she had never tried before, she first summoned Simba, the king of lions appeared and began ripping the Heartless apart. After that, she could only hope, and summoned Dumbo, the baby elephant appeared under her feet and flew into the air with her on his back.

From the air, Dumbo shot water as fast as bullets at the creatures, as Tara began casting Holy spells on the flying creatures, knocking them to the ground for one of the others to take care of. Just like the rest of the Heartless, when one of them disappeared, another would appear in the sky taking its place.

Faith growled when she felt the sharp seven-inch long claws attached to a ghost cut into her chest and down over her belly. Bringing her blade up she cut the ghosts' hand off before thrusting her blade through its' body, as her own body began glow bright purple.

The scream that ripped from Faith's throat caused everyone, Heartless, the girls, the guys, even Simba, and Dumbo, to freeze and stare at her. Tara hurriedly dismissed the summons and landed on the ground next to Willow.

By now, Faith's whole body was nothing more than a purple glow, but it was her eyes that was the brighest and a different color, they were blood red. Faith floated two-inches off of the ground as, just like with Willow, everything fell silent.

It seemed like it was only when the girls or the keyholes was put in danger that they could call on this power. Willow knew their regular spells were more powerful now, but she was happy that they didn't have to use this power often, since she knew it would drain their energy, and fast.

Tara was the first to move, and grabbed Willow and Buffy's hands and pulled them back, she saw Jack doing the same with Donald and Goofy. The six backed up and pressed themselves against the brick fence, and watched as Faith tilted her head back, and raised her hands over her head.

"Meteor!"

The Heartless creatures began looking all around the graveyard as the sound of something burning filled the area. The crackling sounded almost like burning wood, but it was louder, and sounded like it was flying through the air.

An explosion shook the ground at the back of the graveyard, causing the Heartless to turn in that direction, and see a giant rock covered in flames fade away. The creatures looked toward the sky and saw more meteors falling, and tried to escape, but was caught as the flamming rocks hit the ground, exploding on impact.

During all of this Faith had been in the middle of the area, not once getting hit by one of the rock, or burned when the flames of the explosions passed over her body. The flying creatures had been trying t avoid them, but only succeeded in flying into the path of one another and crashing together, and then having the meteors to crush them into the ground.

After what seemed like an eternity, but was only a minute at the most; the area had been cleared of the Heartless, and was now quite as Faith lowered to the ground breathing heavily. The group hurried over as she fell to her knees, weakened from using so much energy. Buffy helped her weakened lover drink a Potion to recover her strength, and helped her to stand.

"Whoa, now that's what I call power." Faith chuckled, as a white ghost dog with a small pumpkin for a nose appeared beside Jack.

Willow automaticly grabbed for her blade, but stopped when Jack held up his hand, "It's okay, this is Zero my dog." Jack smiled and pat the dogs head, "Zero, have you seen Sally anywhere?"

The dog floated off with Jack closely behind, with the others following. Zero jumped into the coffin, causing the group to stop, "I don't think that's safe." Donald said eyeing the coffin.

"Don't worry, it's nothing more than a pathway." Jack again smiled and jumped in.

"Oh, well. If I die here, at least know, I love you, Tara." Willow said and jumped into the coffin, closely followed by Tara, and the others. Jack was right it was nothing more than a path, a path leading to another section of the graveyard where a young woman with brown hair, and wearing a brown dress sat.

"Sally! There you are." Jack approached, as the others glanced around the area.

The young woman looked up with a frown, "Is there something wrong?"

"No, no, everything is fine. Actually everything if going great, we're going to have the best Halloween ever! All we need your memory."

"My 'memory'? You mean this?" Sally held up a small Forget-Me-Not, and handed it to Jack. "I have a bad feeling about this. Why don't you try something else?" Sally stood with a worried look on her face, "There's still time to do something else."

"Nothing could beat what I've got planned!" Jack bounced happily, "Once we give the Heartless a heart, they'll dance just as I envision it. Trust me. You're going to love it!" Jack smiled and hugged the girl.

Sally nodded sadly, "I do trust you, Jack... it's those...monsters I don't trust. What if giving them a heart doesn't work? They could take over our town."

"Don't worry, it'll work. And no one will be taking over our town." Jack smiled assuringly and turned toward the others, "Come on, let's get this back to the doctor."

The group along with Sally headed back toward the town not noticing they were being watched. Three young children hopped out of a tomb and watched them leave.

"Lock!" A girl dressed as a witched shouted as she jumped through the doorway.

"Shock!" A red demon boy shouted.

"Barrel!" A skeleton dressed boy shouted, and looked at his two friends, "Did you hear that?"

"Yeah, I sure did! A heart! What should we do?" Lock asked.

Shock glanced over at the girl shaking his head, "Gosh, you really are stupid! Isn't it obvious?"

"Tell Oogie Boogie." Barrel said and started for the exit.

Back at the Lab...

Jack handed the doctor the Forget-Me-Not and watched as he nodded, "Yes! This is it! Now, all we need is one more ingredient. We need 'surprise' to complete the heart." The doctor said and looked up, "The mayor should know where it it."

"Okay, then it's off to the mayor we go." Jack said and bounced out the door, leading the others to the mayor.

Meanwhile....

Lock, Shock, and Barrel were shaking in fear after they'd told Oogie Boogie everything they'd heard.

"A heart?" Oogie Boogie laughed scaring the kids even more, "That bonehead Jack is really making a heart? I'll be jiggered!" he laughed again, and walked around the circular room. "That works for me! Ohh, when I get my hand on that... Well, I haven't any hands, but I'm still gonna steal that heart and control the Heartless."

There's 31 and I'm working on 32...I think I got Lock, Shock, and Barrel right... Truthfully, I could never keep them straight...just like Hewy, Dewy and Louie *shurgs*

WickedReds - I loved the Meteor spell in the game, so I thought it would be Faith's powerful spell :)

Egnalos - Yeah, and the Heartless will only get just a little bit worse as the chapters continue. As for the dancing Heartless...I can't say ;)

Chapter Thirty-Two: A Heart

Jack had checked the mayor's house, and not finding him there only meant he could be in one other place. Leading the group back through the small graveyard, and jumped into the coffin, he led them into a small brick shack, and through another tunnel.

The group emerged in what Jack called the Boneyard. Buffy was glancing around, and wonding just how many graveyards this world had. First the one where the new Heartless had appeared, the the one where they found Sally, and now this one. The only difference with this one, was the huge smiling pumpkin in the middle of the area.

They saw the mayor standing near the back of the area and carefully made their way over, just because it looked safe enough, didn't mean it was. As they walked though the new area; Willow lost count of how many tombstones the Heartless could be hiding behind, and just settled for keeping her guard up. Tara and Faith had been keeping their eyes on the sky so they wouldn't be caught by surprise.

"Mayor?" Jack stopped behind the shorter man, "We need the 'surprise' element for the heart. Do you know where it is?"

The mayor turned and nodded, "Check those tombstones in the order the ghosts appear." he pointed to five tombstones at the back of the graveyard, "But, if you get it wrong, you're in for a surprise!" the mayor said and left, leaving the group behind.

"I don't like the sound of that." Donald said suddenly glancing around them, and making sure nothing was there with them.

"This test only requires one." Jack said shaking his head, "And only one can walk through the barrier."

"Great, so who goes?" Faith asked looking around the group.

'I'll go." Goofy said, and approached the clear barrier, and stepped through. The group was surprised to see that when Goofy approached the tombstones, the barrier turned dark.

The only thing they could do now was wait. It wasn't but a few minutes later Goofy flew back through the barrier, and landed on the ground, unconscious. Tara leaned down, and cast a healing spell on him to heal the wounds on his face.

Without saying a word; Donald passed through the barrier, and just like Goofy, he flew out after a few minutes. Again Tara healed his wounds, and began to wonder if this was such a good idea.

"My turn...I guess." Buffy said and stepped through the barrier.

She approached the tombstones, and waited. After a few seconds the ghosts appeared and disappeared at a fast rate, Buffy waited a moment longer after they'd disappeared, and approached the first tombstone.

Buffy touched it and heard a soft ding sound. Sighing she stepped to the last from the left, and touched it, and got another ding. Stepping toward the middle one she tripped on something and grabbed onto the second one instead of the middle.

Standing up she cursed and looked down, there on the ground was the root of a tree, and she figured that's what she'd tripped on. Turning around she screamed when the claws of a ghost cut into her chest, and automaticly brought her blade up, severing the ghosts' hand. She cried out again when her back was cut open, and felt herself begin lifted into the air, and thrown back through the barrier. When she landed, Tara was ready with a healing spell.

Jack tried next and as with the others he was thrown back through the barrier, and had to be healed. Faith was the next to try, but failed. Willow entered through the barrier, and took her time. She did not want Tara to be the one put in danger.

Carefully approaching the tombstones she waited and watched as the ghosts appeared, once they were gone she touched each tombstone in the correct order, but had t watch her step making sure t avoid the root she'd seen.

Everyone jumped when they heard a loud explosion behind them, and turned to see the giant pumpkin in pieces. Willow started back toward the others when she fell to the ground, cursing she turned over to see what had caught her leg and saw a hand holding on to her ankle.

Willow watched as a head pushed up through the ground, followed by the upper part of a body. The grip on her ankle was painfully strong; a burning pain shot through her leg as she heard a cracking sound.

The group turned when Willow's painfilled scream echoed around the area, and saw five bodies rising from the graves. Donald cast a Thundaga spell on the one holding Willow, and saw it release her; Willow used her right leg and pushed herself away from the rising dead, knowing she was too close to cast a spell of her own.

Faith rushed forward swinging her blade around, and severed the arm off one of the zombies that was reaching out for her. She stopped for just a second and back flipped as she cast a Blizzaga spell, freezing the zombie in it's place.

Buffy threw a Pineapple mix shattering the frozen zombie, and killed two more, blowing them both to pieces, and leaving only two more to deal with. Tara cast a Holy spell on one of the last zombies that lunged for Willow, and heard her lover cry out as the last one bit into her arm, and leaned forward. Willow had tried to get her blade, but it had gotten stuck, and had tried to scramble back only to have to zombie grab her arm and bite into her bicep.

"I'm sorry." Willow's whispered words floated on the air, causing everyone to stare wide-eyed as she cast a Flare spell.

The spell surrounded both the zombie and Willow, and exploded ripping the zombie apart, and almost killing Willow herself. Since Faith had been the closest she kneeled down, and gently touched Willow's face, and remembered when they were on Gagazet.

The burns on her then was nothing compaired to these, she heard Tara and stood to keep her from seeing her lover, as she grabbed Tara and fought to keep her away, she nodded to Buffy.

Buffy mixed up a few Poions, and a few others, and came up with what she liked to call an 'Al Bhed Recovery Mix' and gently helped Willow to drink it. The redhead coughed as the burning liquid settled in her stomach, and could feel it begin to heal her. The burns began disappearing at a fast rate, and the strenght was returning to her body.

"Shit!" Faith cried out letting Tara go, as Willow sat up.

Buffy looked up and couldn't help but let a giggle escape, as Tara wrapped her shaking arms around Willow, and pulled her close. Faith was holding her, now, bloody and broken nose, but had to chuckle at her own stupidness. She should have known not to get between a hurt Willow, and a worried Tara, but she had, and had to pay the price...even if it was a broken nose.

Buffy giggled again when she saw Tara had captured Willow's lips in a passionate kiss, and rose to check on her own lover. Pulling Faith's right hand away from her face; Buffy examined her swolen nose and shook her head handing Faith a Potion.

Jack, Donald and Goofy had left to give the girls some space, and was checking the exploded pumpkin. Jack smiled as he reached in and pulled out a small Jack-in-the-Box, and nodded. "This is it."

Ten minutes later the group had left the Boneyard and hurried back to the lab. "Splendid! I see you got what you needed." the mayor said meeting the group outside of the first graveyard.

"Yes, we did, but we had a little trouble afterwards." Jack smiled at the mayor and headed toward the lab.

Willow was surprised to see the glare Tara shot the mayor as they passed, and was glade it wasn't her it was directed at. She was afraid when they left this world, Tara was going to let her have it, and she knew when Tara was pissed, even the fiends would run.

When the group reached the lab they heard the doctor buzzing around in his electric wheelchair, and waited until he noticed them. Turning around he jumped a bit, but smiled nonetheless as Jack handed him the Jack-in-the-Box.

"Yes! This is it! Now, let's begin!" The doctor said and began gathering the ingredients on the metal table. After a few minutes the items were together, and inside the heart. "There you go, Jack. This time it's sure to work." he bounced happily.

"Thank you, doctor." Jack was also bouncing around, no one saw the three pairs of eyes watching.

"Ya!" Barrel shouted, as he jumped from the ceiling.

The doctor jumped hard enough to cause his wheelchair to fall back, as Lock, Shock, and Barrel appeared and grabbed the heart. The others tried to grab the kids as they ran by, but only succeeded in falling to the floor. Standing up the group chased after the kids, and ran out the lab door.

"Dammit!" Faith growled glancing around the square.

"We lost them!" Willow stomped her foot on the ground, looking much like a child that didn't get what they'd wanted for Christmas.

"Zero!" Jack whistled and pat the ghost dogs' head when he appeared. "After them, quick!"

Zero barked and floated off toward the graveyard with the group following. In the small graveyard instead of using the coffin, the group ran through the gate at the back and entered yet another graveyard, this one bigger than the rest, and it also had pumpkins all over the ground.

"There!" Buffy pointed to a walking bathtub, and quirked her left eyebrow. "Okay...now that is weird." she said watching it carry the three theives over a hill.

"Come on!" Jack raced off toward the hill.

"Let's go!" Tara nodded and followed the skeleton with the others right behind her.

As the group reached the top of the hill they could see a large manor at the bottom of the hill, and the bathtub, now, running inside. Jack sighed and shook his head, as the group studied the dark landscape.

"What's wrong?" Goofy asked staring at the manor.

"I should have known, this is Oogie Boogie's Manor."

"What kind of name is that?" Faith blinked.

"Umm...is that supposed to be scary or something?" Willow asked cocking her head to the left, with a grin.

Jack shrugged, "If he's got the heart, we're in trouble."

"That's nice to know." Tara sighed, and followed the skeleton down the hill, and interlaced her fingers with Willow's.

They were in for another fight, and for some odd reason everyone in the group knew it wasn't going to be an easy one this time.

Bad Willow risking herself like that :no (that must have hurt) and poor Faith with her broken nose, but well, she should have known better than to try to keep Tara away from Willow and worst if is a hurt Willow.

And Geez! they can defeat every kind of monsters but can't capture three little thieves, how ironic. :sigh

Egnalos - I know it's bad for Willow to be risking herself like that, but that's the way she is, not really thinking about herself. And I know I wouldn't want to get between Tara and a hurt Willow ;) And here's the fight with Oogie Boogie.

WickedReds - Yup, that's what she get's for trying to keep Tara away from Willow. Now, let's get the heart back :D

Chapter Thirty-Three: Battle Against Oogie Boogie

The group had had to jump over a ravine full of water since the bridge had been raised, and they couldn't find a way to lower if from the side they were standing. Willow was happy for the Float spell both Faith and Buffy knew, seeing as it had helped them jump across the fifteen foot wide gap easily. She and the others, besides Jack, were looking at the manor and was wondering just how tall it was. To Willow it looked like a huge castle tower, but it was wider, and a bit taller.

Jack led the group through the front door, and looked around, neither Oogie Boogie, or the kids were in site, so the group continued up a set of stairs and into the room at the top. The only thing worth seeing in the room was the three theives, and a large lever at the back. Without saying a word Shock ran toward the group throwing a rock, and hitting Willow right between her eyes.

Willow let out a string of curse words that stopped the kids in their tracks long enough for Buffy, Faith, and Jack to grab each child, and hold them in place. Why hadn't she done that eariler? Then they wouldn't have had to come all the way here. The others thought staring at Willow and shaking their heads. Jack looked at each child with a frown shaking his head, "Why? Why did you steal the heart?"

"We were just following orders!" "Shock shouted trying to twist out of Faith's grip.

"Oogie Boogie told us to steal it, and it's all Barrel's fault!" Lock said as Buffy gripped the child's shirt tighter. "It was his idea to tell him in the first place!"

"Yeah!" Shock nodded.

Barrel looked at his friends confused, "B-but you guys said-"

"You should be ashamed!" Lock said as Buffy let her go.

"Well, how do we get to him?" Faith asked shaking Shock.

"The lever! Over there!" he pointed to the lever at the back of the room and ran when Faith let him go.

The group watched the kids leave before Donald pulled the leaver revealing another room behind a bookcase and stepped through carefully. The room they were now in had a large circle in the middle of the room, and smaller circles around it. Oogie Boogie was standing on the far side of the room holding the heart up, taunting the group with it.

"Oogie Boogie, give me back the heart!" Jack shouted

Oogie Boogie laughed, "You want it? Well, then come on over and get it!" He said and swallowed the heart. "Now, let's see if I can get their attention. Oh, Heartless!" he shouted causing the girls and guys to quickly be on guard, and look around the room. Two Heartless soldiers appeared on either side of Oogie Boogie, causing him to frown. "This is it? Nobody disrespects me! Nobody!"

The group raced toward him raising their weapons, and stopped as the floor began to shake and lower. "What the hell?!" Faith shouted as two sharp bloody blades extended from the center and began moving.

"Oh, shit!" Buffy hollered jumping over the blades and caught site of Oogie Boogie, who was jumping from platform to platform.

Donald hit the floor as one of the blades passed over his head, and saw Goofy jumping over it as it passed by him. If these blades were to hit them, any of them, they would be cut in half, and it was pissing Willow off. Tara was in the worst kind of danger now, and she didn't like it one damn bit. A Flare spell flew through the air knocking Oogie Boogie off of the platform he was standing on, causing the blades to slow.

"That's it! Keep him off the platforms!" Tara shouted jumping over a now slower blade, and cast a Holy spell.

"Take the blades out too!" Donald rose casting a Thundaga spell making the machine crackle.

Willow cast another Flare spell on their enemy as she released a Thundaga spell on the machine. Faith jumped over the blade when it came around and brought her blade down cracking the metal and casting a Blizzaga spell. The machine iced over allowing Goofy's hits to break it a part. Another Holy spell from Tara, caused Oogie Boogie to lean against the wall as the floor rose.

The group watched his body go flat as what looked like insects spilt out of a ripped hole in his leg. Faith caught a piece of paper as it floated to the ground.

"So, that heart was a failure after all." Jack picked the heart up with a sigh. "Oh, well, I guess there's nothing we can do. Come on, let's get back to town."

It was easy getting back outside, and the group happily took it as a -hopefully- good sign. When they neared the gate the ground began shaking causing them to turn and watch as the manor merged with Oogie Boogie.

"What the fuck!" Faith shouted with wide eyes.

"How the hell did he get so big?" Willow asked staring at the -what she swore- was a hundred foot tall Oogie Boogie.

"Look!" Jack pointed, It's brimming with the power of darkness! He's drawing power from those dark globs!" he said.

The other looked up and saw seven dark globes on different sections of the huge enemy and sighed. Looks like their feeling was right, this wasn't going to be an easy fight. "So, all we gotta do is destroy those things, right?" Buffy asked thinking of the easiest way to each globe.

"Yeah, but how're we going to get to them? He keeps moving, so it won't be easy." Tara said watching Oogie Boogie sway from side to side, and then forward and back.

"Just take our time about reaching them." Faith said and took off with Tara right behind her.

Buffy went for the back with Goofy following, Willow nodded, "You guys take the right side, and leave me the left."

"Are you sure?" Donald asked itching to get this over with.

"Yeah, now go." Willow smirked and took of for the left side.

Faith cursed as she lost her balance and had nearly fallen over the edge, and gave Tara a nod when she steadied her. They were just below one of the seven globes, and couldn't find away leading to it. Faith hated to think it, but she was really wanting Willow there so either one of them could be lifted up. She knew just by looking at Tara, she wasn't going to risk her life, and besides, if she risked Tara's then she was surely risking her's if something were to happen to Tara.

She was jerked out of her thoughts when a Holy spell exploded above her, glancing up she caught sight of the globe leaking something, and jumped back as a black liquid hit the wooden path and burned a hole straight through. Faith grinned, if magic was the only way to reach it, then that's exactly how they'd destroy it. Another Holy spell exploded, and was followed by a Flare spell, both girls jumped back as more of the dark liquid burned through the wooden path.

Tara felt it first, and pulled Faith back just as a Thundaga spell ripped the globe apart causing the wood to burn away. Looking up they saw Buffy smile down as she waved at them, and they could see Goofy score one last hit on the globe causing it to explode in flames. As far as they knew, there was now five to go, and wondered how the others were coming along as the hurried toward another globe higher up.

Donald quacked loudly as his Thundaga spell bounced off the globe him and Jack were fighting against. Jack jumped up and twisted in the air kicking the globe twice as he landed. Looking around Donald found a broken piece of wood, and grabbed it taking a step back he thrust forward pushing the board through the globe. Instead of it popping like he thought, it just melted into the wood, leaving a burning hole behind.

Willow had been doing good seeing as she was alone, she'd already destroyed one globe and was going for another. She continued toward the top, and could just barely see the others a couple of stories below her, as she reached a larger globe. Happy shouts reached her ears telling her that the others had taken care of the rest, and could only hope the one she was now looking at was the last.

Closing her eyes for a moment, Willow thrust her hands forward releasing a Flare spell, and was surprised to see it bounce off the globe, and disappear into the sky. Narrowing her eyes she grabbed her blade and brought it down on the globe, only to have it bounce off like she was hitting metal. Willow growled and wondered just how was she supposed to get rid of this thing, both magic and weapons bounced off like they were nothing.

"Heya, Wills." Buffy said raising herself up over the edge of the small path, "What's wrong?"

"Magic and weapons bounce off of the damn thing! How're we gonna get rid of it?"

The pink girl stood for a moment thinking it over, and soon smiled, "How about attacking it with both at the same time? You think that would work?"

"Let's give it a try." Willow spoke as Buffy readied a Thundaga spell, "Now!" she shouted bringing her blade down just as the spell hit.

The dark globe shook, but neither attack bounced off; the girls grinned and nodded. Three more strong magic spells, and three strong hits from Willow's blade caused the globe to melt. With all seven globes gone the huge manor began to shake as Oogie Boogie's voice could be heard screaming in rage.

The two girls jumped down to the next level, and hurriedly continued down as the manor began falling apart. The path they were on broke causing the girls to race forward as more of the wood fell away right behind them.

Halfway down it finally caught up to them, causing both girls to fall two stories before Willow caught the edge of a lower path, and grab Buffy's hand at the same time. Willow grunted trying to pull herself and Buffy up, hopefully before the path fell away again. For being so small, why was Buffy so heavy?

Willow grunted again, and found her strength, quickly tossing Buffy onto the path, and was helped up. When both girls stood, they heard the falling wood and knew the path wouldn't be there for long, and bolted.

Just when it was once again catching up to them, Buffy cast a Float spell on herself and Willow, and jumped the three stories, landing on the ground next to the others. The manor fell apart as the group watched and finally disappeared, revealing a shining keyhole. Once again, Tara's Keyblade rose shooting a beam toward the Keyhole, and sealing it.

An hour later the group was back in Dr. Finkelstine's lab resting, and watched amused as the doctor buzzed around in his wheelchair like a maniac. To the right they could see Jack talking to Sally, and watched as she slipped her hand in his.

"Why didn't I listen to you Sally?"

"Don't worry, Jack. We'll have a better Halloween Festival next year."

Buffy was just about to lean her head back when the door opened. For just a moment Buffy stared, not knowing if she should grab her blade, laugh, or just cry.

"Whoa! Cool, we have look-a-like's!" Faith's voice caught the group's attention, cauing them to glance at the doorway, and even they didn't know what to do. Like Buffy, Willow, Tara, and Faith was torn between laughing and crying. Why did they all look so weird?

Faith's twin was dark green and like Faith herself, she looked like she'd crawled out of a grave. Well, at least my hair isn't green. Faith thought eyeing her twin, and noticing her cloths were much the same.

Instead of an ax in her head, Tara's twin had a large butcher knife in the top of hers, and her shirt was just as bloody as Tara's. But where Tara's shirt covered her upper body, her twin only had on a tank top showing a lot of her breasts.

Willow was staring at her half-naked twin, and wondering just why in the hell she had fangs, and a small amount of blood near the corner of he mouth. And just why wasn't she wearing a shirt? Her twin only had on a black leather bra, and Willow really wanted to know where she got it.

As for Buffy's twin, she wasn't pink, and Buffy was happy for that, but she really wanted to cry seeing as her twin was a bright yellow all over. Skin, hair, eyes, and even her cloths were yellow. Why me? What did I ever do to deserve being either pink, or yellow? The Al Bhed girl thought.

"Why do you have fangs?" Was the first thing Willow asked, as she stood and approached her twin.

"Why?" her twin looked confused, "Well, because I'm a vampire, that's why."

"What's that?"

"Well, a vampier drinks blood to live."

"Oh," Willow took a step back, "Well, I think it's time to leave, we've got more work to do." she said and began edging out the door.

After hearing what a vampire does to live the others were already near the door, and only waited for Willow to catch up. Their twins watched amused as the group ran from the room, the last thing the group heard was their twins laughter and the doctor speaking.

"Emotion, memory... We put in all the necessary ingredients. What else do you need to make a heart?" The doctor stopped and thought for a moment, "What is a heart anyway? I can't figure it out."

Jack hurried out the door to catch up to the running group, and smiled. "Thank you for helping with Oogie Boogie. But, visit us any time, girls. Next year's Halloween will be the scariest ever!"

"We'll try to make it." Tara said watching the twins approach.

"Yeah, be sure to make it. We'd like to get to know you better." Tara's twin winked at her and Willow, causing them to take a small step back.

"Umm...sure." Buffy said wanting to get away from the look she was getting from Faith's twin.

"Yeah...gotta go. Bye!" Faith grabbed her lovers hand and took off toward the teleporter light, and disappeared right behind Donald and Goofy, with Tara and Willow following.

Chapter 34: Two Reports and Trouble

When the group appeared on the ship they looked at themselvs, and then one another, and sighed in relief. No one in the group looked like they did on the surface of Jack's world, and was thankful.

Buffy almost began dancing around the ship's bridge, but didn't due to not wanting to look insane, and settled to just hop into the pilots seat, happily. Willow had smiled, and softly touched Tara's cheek happy that there was no ax in her head, and left a kiss on her lover's lips.

Donald and Goofy sunk into the chairs, deciding to rest for a while longer before Buffy got them to a new world, and knowing her, she'd get them there soon. Faith had followed their lead and sat down across from them; the paper in her pouch crackling as she stretched out her legs.

Waiting for Willow and Tara to sit down, she reached into the pouch and pulled out a piece of yellowed paper, and found there was another piece stuck to it.

Gently pulling them apart, so as not to tear them; Faith handed one to Tara while she read over the other in her hand. Sitting in Tara's lap, Willow read the report her lover was holding, as the others watched. After it looked like the three girls had read and re-read the reports Donald sighed and knew if he didn't ask, they probably would stare at them all night.

"What do they say?"

Faith glanced at the duck for a moment before taking a deep breath and began reading.

Report 5

To study the Heartless behavior, I picked one out for observation. It wiggled its antennae and, as if sensing a target, headed deep into the castle.

In the deepest part of the castle, its antennae began vibrating, as if searching for something. Suddenly, a strange door appeared. I'd never known of its existence.

It had a large keyhole, but didn't seem to be locked. So I opened the door.

What I saw on the other side mystified me.

What was that powerful mass of energy. That night I observed a great meteor shower in the sky.

Could it be related to the door that I have opened?

D'Hoffryn

"Report five?" Buffy turned in her seat, "Where are three and four?"

"Is that what you have Tara?" Goofy asked watching Tara shake her head.

"No, this one is seven, so we're missing three, four, and six."

"And maybe more," Willow spoke causing the others to sigh, "we don't know how many reports there are."

"You're right. Okay what does that one say?" Faith asked and listened as Tara read it.

Report 7

I am studying material from the meteors that rained down that fateful night. What a find! The material is foreign to our world. It is elastic to the touch, and when two pieces are combined, they bond easily.

None of the records even mention such a substance. Was it introduced to this world when I opened the door? I wonder how many other such materials drift through the atmosphere of this tiny world... I wish I could soar off and find out!

Could there be uncharted worlds up there? My curiosity never ceases to grow. But I should stop speaking of such unrealistic dreams. For now, there is no way to venture outside this world. My people and I are all but prisoners of this tiny place.

D'Hoffryn

"A meteor shower? I wonder if those meteors were pieces of a destroyed world?" Goofy leaned forward resting his hands on his shield.

"That's what I was thinking... When a world is destroyed, and two pieces are brought together they'll bond. But right now, I'm more interested in that Keyhole he found. I wonder where it is...or if the world has already been destroyed." Donald sighed shaking his head.

"Wait, he opened a door, and saw something, but he didn't write about it...at least not in the reports we've got. And why was there a meteor shower only after he opened the door?"

Faith nodded to Buffy, "I'm thinking it wasn't a world that was destroyed, maybe he released the Heartless that night."

"He was on the right track though," Tara said unconsciously rubbing her thumb over Willow's knuckles, "there are more worlds out there... But he also said he and his people were trapped inside a castle. Maybe they still are."

"I don't think they could."

"Why not?" Buffy turned toward Donald curiously.

"Simple. Remember your twins in Traverse Town? They came from his world, and they said it had been destroyed."

"Oh, that's right." Buffy slumped down. "Well, it was nice thinking that that world was safe, at least for the time being."

Goofy heard the sadness in the girl's voice, and smiled slightly, "Don't worry, once we take care of the Heartless, everything will go back to the way it was. King Mickey will see to that."

"He's right, Buff, we'll beat the Heartless into the ground, and maybe we can help Mickey with restoring the worlds." Willow smiled and could tell Buffy was feeling a little better.

"Yeah, you guys are right."

An alarm sounded as red lights began blinking, turning around Buffy looked at the radar and watched as a little blip appeared on the screen. Taking the ship off of auto-pilot she grabbed the controls and swerved to miss a giant black iron ball. "What the hell?!" The Al Bhed girl shouted as the ball exploded, and turned the ship toward the left.

"Watch out!" Faith screamed as the ship headed toward a large asteroid.

Buffy looked up from the radar in time to duck the ship under the rock, and quickly turned the ship sideways to avoid another in the path.

"Dammit!" her eyes narrowed as the ship shook from a small hit, causing Buffy to swing the ship right, and fired the missiles. The ship shook again from the shockwave of the explosion, as the rock in front of the ship blew apart, allowing the ship to pass through the center, and over another.

"What the hell is on our ass?!" Faith shouted as the ship shook again from an explosion to their left.

"Don't know!" Buffy called back ducking the ship under, and around two more asteroids.

Donald jumped from his set and grabbed the back of Buffy's to look at the radar. "That's another ship... but it's different, somehow."

"I don't care how different it is! Whoever's on it is trying to kill us!" Willow growled hopping off Tara's lap, and slid across the floor as Buffy once again ducked under another huge rock.

Donald soon joined Willow at the side window and looked behind them, it was an old wooden ship, with old cannons, and one just fired.

"Incoming!" Willow shouted ducking as the iron ball exploded shaking the ship.

"Uh...that big ship is catching up to us!" Goofy spoke watching the ship speed up.

Donald stood, and followed Goofy's line of vision, "Quit gawking! That's a pirate ship!"

"Yeah, and it's going to ram into us!" Willow said just as the pirate ship hit theirs."

Buffy growled before an angry scream tore out of her throat, "Dammit! Those bastards just screwed up the controls!"

Another hit from the pirate ship caused theirs to stall throwing everyone around. A green mist began pouring in through the vents causing the group to cough. "What...the...fu..." Faith whispered before she lost consciousness.

The ship's door opened allowing whoever was on the other ship enterance. They were all wearing masks so as not to breath the green mist they'd been pumping into the venting systems, and made their way to the bridge.

The last thing Willow saw was a man wearing a long red coat, and a red hat with a feather in it, before she too fell unconscious.

"Take them to my ship." The man ordered the others, and watched as the group was picked up, and carried away. He stood for a moment just looking around the bridge, before he, too, followed the men.

Chapter Thirty-Five: Trapped in the Hold, or Not.

The two Blitzball teams were pushing, pulling, pounding, and scoring -at least that's what Willow thought when she regained consciousness, her head was pounding, and to her it was two rival teams fighting each other. Keeping her eyes closed for the moment she stretched her sences out trying to figure out where she was. She could hear the deep stedy breathing of three others, and knew it was Tara, Buffy, and Faith; the breathing didn't have to tell her that, she could feel them, especially Tara.

Willow could also feel the roughness of wood under her hand, and could smell the salty sea breeze as it gently touched her face. Wherever they were, the floor was gently rocking from side to side, and she knew it was no common spaceship. Willow heard the muted sound of footsteps, and barely cracked her eyes open, and quickly shut them when she saw a pair of black boots.

"Wake up!" A familar voice spoke as the person kicked the bottom of her foot. "Now!"

Growling not only from being kicked, but also from who was waking her. "You're a bitch you know that, right?" Willow glared up at the other person, and grinned when she saw the other's shocked look.

"Well, if I'm a bitch, then so are you. We are after all the same person." Willow's twin growled, picking Willow up by her shirt.

"No, she isn't, but you really are." Buffy said, and stood on shakey legs, "If you were anymore of a bitch, then you'd be the queen."

The dark twin sneered thrusting her hand forward, and sending Buffy back against the wall with her energy, and poured more force into it hoping to crush the smart assed girl. A quick hit to the side of her head from Willow, caused the dark twin to drop both Willow, and her attack on Buffy. "You'll pay for that!" the twin said unsheathing a long sharp looking sword.

"No!" The shout came from Buffy's twin who blocked the blow to Willow's neck with her own sword, "We don't wanna kill them...not yet, anyway."

'There'll be no shenanigans aboard my vessel, girls." Captain Hook held up his left arm, and glared at the girls.

"Fine." Willow's twin huffed sheathing her sword, but not before using the blunt side to crack Willow on the head.

"Where are Donald and Goofy?" Faith asked standing, and helped Tara to stand and make her way over to her fallen lover.

"Are they that important to you?" Buffy's twin asked stairing at her lover's twin, "You should be helping us get our Tara and Faith's hearts back!"

"You're fools!" Tara shouted helping Willow up, "You should know how to get their hearts back! They are your lovers! Don't you love them?"

As quick as lightning a sword tip was pressed against Tara's throat, "Why the hell do you ask that? Of course we do!" Willow's twin glared, "Look, don't ask that again, I won't hurt you, but they will." she said as Heartless shadows, and soldiers appeared.

"Would you really let the Heartless hurt your lover's twin?" Willow asked her twin, receiving no reply.

"Just why in the fuck are you siding with them?" Faith asked shaking her head.

"The Heartless obey us, we have nothing to fear." Buffy's dark twin smirked.

"You're stupid!" Buffy shouted jumping at her twin, and landing a blow on her cheek before she was knocked back. The Al Bhed girl slowly rose with Faith's help and stared at her twin, "Sooner or later they'll swallow your heart."

"Not a chance."

"Our heart's are too strong." Willow's twin spoke sheathing her sword, "And besides, we know who our heart's belong to."

"Then if you know that, then why can you see you're the only one's that can help your lovers?" Tara's soft voice asked, with a hint of sadness.

"Because we don't know how!" Buffy's twin shouted tears shining in her eyes, "Why do you think we need you to tell us?"

"You're them, they're you, so, you should know."

"No, you are wrong." Faith shook her head, "We can't tell you that, only you know how to do that."

"All you have to do is look inside your heart's and find the answer."

Both twin's looked from Faith, to Tara, and then to one another, "We don't believe that! You know!" Buffy's twin growled.

"Girls, if they do not want to tell, send them to their friends." Hook laughed, "I'm sure a few weeks in the Hold will make them rethink things."

"You're right." Buffy's twin nodded and turned to leave, "See ya in a few weeks then."

"Wanna see a trick?" Willow's twin asked raising her right hand, making a shadow appear in front of the group, as an invisible hatch opened under their feet, "See ya." she smirked watching the four girls fall into the hold.

"Hook," Buffy's twin turned toward the Captain, "Let's get under way, already." she said and walked out the door.

"Oh, and don't forget," Willow's twin glanced up at him as she walked by, "Keep them away from our lovers until we're ready to land."

Captain Hook's face turned three shades of red from anger as he watched the girl walk through the door, "Those scurvy brats think they can order me around!" He said shaking his hooked hand.

"What shall we do, Captain?" A shorter man asked looking up at his Captain.

"Nothing, Mr. Smee! The hold is crawling with the Heartless. Let them keep an eye on the other brats."

"But, Captain, you-know-who is also down-"

"Shh!" Hook cut the man off looking around, "Did you hear that, Smee? Oh, that dreadful sound!"

Mr. Smee shook his head, "No, Captain."

Captain Hook grabbed Smee's shoulder and hide behind the shorter man, "Are you quite sure? Did I imagine it? Oh, my poor, poor, nerves..." Hook spoke calming down a small amount. "I hate that 'tick-tock' sound!"

In the hold....

The four girls landed on the floor with a 'thud' and groaned, knowing that fall was going to leave a bruise. Willow rose, and helped Tara to stand as she glanced around the surroundings and gasped when she saw Donald and Goofy lying on the floor. Donald's feathers were red from blood, and Goofy had a long gaping wound from his forhead to his chin.

Willow crouched down next to Goofy and felt his pulse, sighing in relief she looked over to Tara who nodded. At least they were still alive; Willow stepped back and watched Tara cast a healing spell over their unconscious friends.

Faith and Buffy had stood to the side, and watched the healing spell to its job before they begain searching the back wall, hoping to find a way out. Tara looked up and nodded at Willow, silently telling her lover she'd be fine, and saw Willow begin to check the right wall.

When I get my hands on that twin of mine, I'm going to show her how it feels to be beat up on. Willow thought, growing angrier by the second as she glanced over her shoulder at Donald and Goofy. Unknown to her that was exactly what Buffy was thinking at that very moment.

Screw it! I don't care what Faith says, I'm gonna put that twin of mine in a world of hurt when I get my hands on her! Faith heard the deep growl and saw Buffy punch the wall from her thoughts, and sighed. She figured she knew what her lover was thinking about, and if truth were to be told, she was pretty much thinking the same thing.

How could Buffy and Will's twins be that bad? Sure, she knew if something like that were to happen to either of them, she and Tara would go on the warpath, and hurt what, or whoever had hurt their lover's. But that still didn't give them the right to try and kill everone in their path. But that didn't seem to matter to the twins, they'd captured them, and either beat, or had Donald and Goofy beaten within an inch of their lives.

Tara didn't know what to do now, her lover's twin was crazy, that's what it had to be. She had seen what'd had happened, and knew it must have drove both Willow and Buffy's twins insane, and to make matters worse, they had sided with the Heartless. Why couldn't they see they're the only ones who can get their lovers back? It wasn't that hard to figure out, but maybe it was the darkness controlling them, could that be it? Tara gently pushed Goofy back down and shook her head, "Rest." she said quietly.

Now back to the thought at hand. Could it really be the darkness controlling the twins? And if it was, how could they get it out of them? Okay, think, Tara, think. The twins are using dark powers, darker than Willow uses when she's casting black magic.

How do we get that kind of power out of their systems, and back to the way they were?
That was something Tara didn't know. Getting dark power from a person's body had never been needed, dark magic wasn't dangerous; it was only used in defence of oneself, so there was no need.

If only Anya were here, she'd most likely know what to do. She only studied that since she was a black mage. But face the facts, Anya isn't here, and we'll have to figure out a way ourselves. Tara sighed once more with her thoughts running through her head at the speed of light, and began growing more frustrated when everything she thought of, she knew wouldn't work.

"Dammit!" Willow's shout startled everyone from their thoughts, causing them to jump and turn toward the redhead. "There's no way out over here!" Willow kicked the wall, and cracked the wood when she punched it with her fist. "Damn! That hurt!" she shook her quickly bruising hand, and let out a growl that would have scared Omega himself away.

"Baby," Tara said softly as she approached, and took Willow's hand in her's as she cast a healing spell, "there, don't need you injured before any fighting." Willow wrapped her arms around Tara's waist, and let out a shakey breath.

"I'm sorry, it's just...frustrating."

"I know, but we'll get out of here. We always get out of things...even though getting out causes more trouble." Tara felt her lover shake before she heard the light giggle, and grinned.

"I love you, Tara." Willow smiled kissing the nape of her neck.

"I love you, too, Will."

Donald groaned thumping his head on the floor, "Oh, please! Enough with the lovey-dovey, you're gonna make my teeth fall out!"

"I didn't know you had teeth." Buffy grinned wanting to get a rise out of the duck, and succeeded when Donald quacked at her.

"Hey, ya looking for a way out?" The group looked around the hold, and became quite confused when they didn't see anyone else. "Up here." everyone jumped back as a young man in green clothing slowly floated down from the rafters.

"Who're you?" Faith asked gripping her blade, as she studied the new guy and waited for one wrong move.

"I'm the answer to your prayers."

Donald crossed his arms, and began tapping his foot, as Faith and Willow snorted, "Yeah, tell us another one." Buffy sneered thinking no one like him was the answer to any of her prayers, now Faith on the other hand, well that was a different story.

"Fine, fine, have it your way.

"But you're stuck in here, too, aren't you?" Tara asked not ready to trust anyone who dressed the way he was just yet.

"No, I'm just waiting for someone."

"Who?" Willow asked, slowly raising her hand to the hilt of her blade, and stepped back as a yellow glowing thing flew around her head, and landed in the boy's hands.

"Tinker Bell, what took so long?" The boy asked and listened to the little fairy, "Great job! So you found Wendy?" again the boy waited, "Wait, there was two more girls there, too?" Tinker Bell nodded, "Are you crazy? There is no way I'm gonna leave Wendy there!"

"Aha. She must be pretty jealous." Donald laughed, and didn't notice Tinker Bell flying his way. The laugh stopped when the fairy kicked him in the mouth. "Why I oughta!" Donald quacked watching her fly away.

"Come on, Tink! Open up the door!"

"Well? Just who the hell are you?" Buffy asked.

"I'm Peter Pan." the boy said sticking his hand out. Willow grabbed his hand introducing everyone and nodded. "Okay, we're in this together, but only 'till we find Wendy."

"Fine with me. Lead the way." Willow said unsheathing her blade knowing there would be Heartless to deal with before they could get the hell out of Dodge.

Chapter 36

Postby Stormforce » Mon Nov 29, 2004 9:02 am

Egnalos - Thanks, it's good to be back to typing :) Actually the reason why the girls can't tell the twins how to wake up their Tara and Faith is the twins have to figure it out on their own. When Tara said: "All you have to do is look inside your heart's and find the answer." she was giving them the clue as how to wake their Tara and Faith. But the dark twins didn't understand, but they will further down the road. Yep, they'll see Tara and Faith's twins when they go after Wendy.

WickedReds - Yep, Wendy's in this chapter...well, for just a few lines anyway. As for the dark twins, they will be becoming untwisted, but it's still down the road.

Chapter Thirty-Six:

After getting out of the hold the group had walked into another room with nothing but a locked door ahead of them, and a grate in the ceiling. Willow and Faith had both cast Flare spells on the door, and glared when the door still stood.

Buffy had said they should use Donald as a battering-ram to knock it down, and made the duck mad enough to hop up and down on one leg as he shook his fist.

Tara being the most level-headed of the group, besides Goofy, who hardly said a word, or even got angry for that matter -had pointed to the grate. Willow, Buffy, and Faith had blushed in embarrassment wondering why they hadn't thought of it first, and quickly agreed.

Peter Pan flew up, opened the grate, and waited as the others climbed through. They soon found out the only other exit led into a room fifteen feet away, and hopped down, landing inside the ship's kitchen.

With no enemies in the room everyone let their guard down, and studied the kitchen more carefully, hoping to find another way out besides the door on the far wall. Who knew what would be waiting for them on the other side. And they wanted to keep their escape unknown for a while longer. Hopefully they would find Tara and Faith's twins before getting into any fights.

"Hey, how come you can fly?" Donald glanced at Peter Pan, as he tapped on the left wall.

"Anyone can fly." Peter grinned, and hovered in the air, "You wanna try?" he asked and whistled, calling Tinker Bell to him. The small fairy landed in his hands with her arms crossed, and head held up. "Aw, haven't you cooled off yet, Tink?"

"You know, you really don't have to do that. We've got a spell that lets us float." Buffy spoke eyeing the still ticked off fairy, and thinking she most likely wasn't in a helping mood.

"This will be much better than just floating." Peter flew into the air, "Just a little bit of pixie dust. There, now you can fly."

Donald jumped up flapping his arms, and fell face first on to the floor. Tinker Bell laughed, as an angry look crossed the duck's face and he began tapping each finger on the floor. Stupid, annoying, little fairy. he thought standing.

Meanwhile...

Captain Hook is pacing around in his cabin with the dark twins standing near his desk watching him as he passed by. Buffy's twin rolled her eyes, as Willow sighed; the captain wasn't taking the news well, and besides, they didn't like him anyway.

"So, you're telling me Wendy's not one of the chosen ones, right?" Hook asked pacing around the room for what seemed like the hundredth time for the twins.

"Maleficent says she is not one of them." Buffy's twin once again sighed as she told Hook for the tenth time Windy was not a girl they were looking for.

"Look," Willow's twin spoke ready to leave, and get away from the overbearing captain as soon as possible, "hoist anchor, and leave all the dead weight behind, including her."

"What?" Hook shouted turning to face the girls, "After the trouble we went through of capturing her? And what is Maleficent planning, anyway?"

"Who knows?" Willow's twin shrugged, "We'll find out soon enough."

"Who cares?" Buffy's twin growled, "As long as it means getting Tara and Faith's hearts back, I couldn't care less."

Willow's twin nodded, "You're right, I don't care what she's planning, I just want their hearts back. Whatever else Maleficent does, well, that's her own business, not ours."

"Hmph!" Hook crossed his arms, "You're just wasting your time! The Heartless have devoured those girls' hearts. I'll stake me other hand they're lost forever." The captain soon found himself staring down the sharp blades of two swords.

"Never say that again!" Buffy's twin clenched her teeth, pressing the sword tip painfully against Hook's throat.

"You'll lose more than your other hand if you dare say another word against finding their hearts, understand?" Willow's twin asked calmly drawing blood as she slowly inched her blade across the captain's throat. "We will find what we want, no matter what stands in our way, and no matter what the cost."

"Uh, Captain..." Mr. Smee said through the pipes as the twins lowered their blades.

"What is it?" Hook glared at the girls as he rubbed his neck.

"The prisoners have escaped. What's more, Peter Pan is with them."

"Blast that Peter Pan!" Hook clenched his fist and shook his hook in the air, "All right, then! Bring the hostage to me cabin, Smee! Hop to it!"

Back with the group Tara was casting healing spells on Willow, Buffy, and Faith, who had defended the other's while they tried to open another door.

Three flying soldiers, and six shadows had appeared behind them, and attacked the group in the cramped hallway. Not really having that much room to move around meant the one's fighting took just as many hits as the enemies.

Willow's shoulder had been wounded by a flying soldier before she twisted, bringing her blade down and killing it. Then a shadow had latched on to her leg, digging its claws into her thigh, and using its sharp teeth to bite into her forearm as she tried to get it off. Willow had grabbed the shadow, and threw it against the wall, and cast a Flare spell to kill it, and caught another shadow in the spell.

Faith had been fighting off two shadows, and didn't notice the soldier behind her until it had -in one quick motion- used its sharp claws to scratch her face from behind. Turning, Faith had grabbed its' leg and used it as a club to pound on the two shadows, killing them after a couple of blows.

Buffy had screamed when one shadow bit into her leg, and the other sunk its' claws into her other leg. Taking her blade, Buffy brought it down, and split both shadows in half, before turning to cast a Thundaga spell on the soldier.

After the enemies had disappeared and all was quite; the door opened allowing the group to pass through and into another room. Now, Tara was healing the three grumbling girls, as the others looked around the room. There was nothing but a desk and chair at the back of the room, and a bed on the left wall. Peter Pan glanced up when he heard Tinker Bell speak to him. "What is it?"

Tinker bell said something else, and pointed to the grate in the ceiling. "Peter? Peter Pan?" A female voice asked through the grate.

"Wendy!" Peter flew up to the grate happy that the girl seemed to be unhurt.

"Please, hurry!" Wendy glanced over her shoulder, "The pirates are coming!" she said in a low voice when she heard footsteps.

"What! Okay, I'll be right up there!" Peter flew toward the only other door, and waited, "Just hold on!"

"Be careful, there are a lot of monsters on this ship, and I also heard Hook, and Mr. Smee talking about two more unconscious girls aboard the ship."

"What?" Buffy looked up, "Did you hear their names?"

"Yes, it was Tara and Faith."

The girls glanced at each other, "They're on this ship?" Faith asked confused.

"Why would they be here?" Willow wondered aloud.

"I know," Tara said quietly, "you're twins were thinking we'd tell them how to get their heart's back."

"And they brought them here to keep them close." Buffy frowned, "But don't they know, their lover's are in more danger here than if they were with Maleficent."

"What do you mean?"

Buffy glanced at Faith, "If they're here on this ship, Hook could do anything he wanted while mine and Will's twins weren't around."

"And if Maleficent told him to get rid of them, he most likely would." Willow said, knowing where Buffy was going with her thoughts, "And just what would that do to our twins?"

"Shit! They'd go crazy, no telling what they would try and do." Faith shook her head.

"We've got to find them, and quick." Tara turned toward Donald and Goofy, "What do you think?"

"Let's go!" Donald ran toward the door with the others behind him.

No one knew what they would be running in to, but the one thing they did know was, they had to find the sleeping twins, and help get Wendy away from the pirates.

Chapter Thirty-Seven: Finding Wendy

On the way to the upper level the group had to destroy the Heartless shadows, and flying soldiers that tried to stop them. After reaching a dead end the group backtracked before they remembered the grates, and looked up, instead of a grate there was a trap door.

Peter flew up and opened the door quietly, and lowered the rope ladder for the others. Once inside the room, the group glanced around seeing a large cherry desk at the back of the room, and a large bed.

"Must be Hook's room." Tara said and noticed two doors. One lead to the outer deck, and the other just had to lead to Wendy. Willow pushed the door open, jumping inside quickly with her blade ready, and scared the Heartless shadows away from the two sleeping twins.

Almost as if their energy was felt the dark twins appeared, "What the hell are you doing here?" Willow's twin glared, and picked Tara's twin up.

"What do you think!" Willow growled, "If we hadn't come in when we did, those Heartless would have hurt them!"

"You should know better than to leave your lovers alone in a place like this!" Faith glared at the dark twins.

"The Heartless wouldn't have hurt them. Now, see ya." Willow's twin grinned.

"We've got a little surprise for you." Buffy's twin smirked picking Faith's twin up.

"No! Wait!" Faith shouted as the twins disappeared, and glanced around the candlelit room.

"Surprise? What surprise?" Buffy asked the snapped her mouth shut.

There was something in the room with them, but they couldn't see it. All they could hear was something that sounded like long fingernails scratching on wood. Willow whipped her head around, and stared into the dark corner at the back of the room, she didn't know what it was, but it had caught her attention when it moved.

"Peter, get in to that room, and get Wendy outta here." Willow kept her eyes on the dark corner, and saw Peter Pan nod out of the coner of her eye.

"Not now, Tink! I've got to get Wendy off this ship." Peter said as the little fairy circled his head when he entered the room, and found an unconscious Wendy laying on the floor. He quickly, but gently picked her up and hurried out the door. "After I get her to a safe place, I'll be back."

"Okay." Faith nodded, but kept her eyes on the dark ceiling.

"What's in here?" Tara turned glancing at each corner, and up at the ceiling, and even the floor where the darkness touched.

Something moved across the floor quick as lightning, it looked like shadow, but a shadow of what? The Heartless shadows were small, this thing was bigger, and not to mention quicker. A loud thump caused the girls to turn, and see Donald sliding down the wall unconscious.

Another thump, and Goofy was unconscious. The girls unsheathed their blades and turned back, stretching their sences out, trying to figure out what was in the room with them.

"What the--" Faith started but was cut off as she hit the wall, and slid next to the guys, not moving.

Buffy started toward her, but felt herself being held back. "No!" Willow shook her head, "She'll be fine. Whatever is doing this it isn't touching them after they're knocked out." seeing Buffy's nod, Willow turned back toward the dark corner, and felt it.

Two different energies, both full of hate, and both ready to kill. Willow quickly turned and caught site of the dark figure, and wasn't fast enough to warn Tara, and could only watch as she was thrown into the wall.

"Will! What the hell are these things?!" Buffy choked out as she was lifted off the ground, by her shadow.

Willow spun around, and brought her sword down, causing the shadow to release Buffy, and sink back into the floor. "I think this was the surprise our twins were talking about." Willow said, and blocked a blow from a dark blade from her own shadow.

Buffy twisted around blocking the dark blade of her shadow, and kicking the shadow in the stomach, knocking it back, and into Willow's blade as she brought it down. Willow spun around kicking the shadow in the back, and knocked it forward. The shadow turned and swung its sword around, making a high-pitched clang as it hit Willow's blade.

Willow's shadow jumped into the air with its' blade over its head, and swung down; Buffy raised her own sword blocking it strike, and she could see sparks fly as the blades met. The shadow pulled back, and thrust the blade forward, only to have it knocked when Buffy's blade met it.

Buffy once again met the downward arc of the blade as it came down at her head. Her hand glowed light blue as a Blizzaga spell shot forward, freezing the shadow in place, and allowing Buffy to back away.

A Flare spell exploded around Buffy's shadow knocking it back, and into the other shadow. Ice shards exploded outward as the ice was broken, and freed the shadow trapped inside. Willow grabbed Buffy's outstretched hands, and was swung around in a half-circle, her feet knocking both shadows back. When she landed; Willow spun Buffy around in the same manor, and smirked when the shadows hit the back wall.

Buffy landed, smirked, and then nodded to Willow as her right hand glowed yellow, and her left glowed blue; Willow's right hand was glowing red, and her left began glowing light blue. Buffy thrust her left hand out toward the shadows, and watched as a Waterga spell soaked them, and then thrust her right hand out casting a Thundaga spell. The shadows shook as the electricity shot through their bodies, and began smoking as it slowed.

Willow held her right hand out letting the Firaga spell cover the shadows, and waited until it died down before holding her left hand up, and casting a Blizzaga spell to freeze them in place. As if one was reading the others mind, both Willow and Buffy's hands began glowing dark red as they thrust both of their hands out. The ice around the shadows fell and melted as four Flare spells exploded around them.

With the last of their strength; the shadows raced forward bringing their swords down, and across Willow and Buffy's chests before they disappeared. Buffy staggered back a step before falling to the ground, grabbing the painful wound, and had to grit her teeth to keep from crying out in pain.

"Poison." Willow gasp as she fell to the floor next to Buffy, and could feel the new poison burning through her veins before she fell unconscious.

"New...kind...poison..." Buffy whispered, before she, too, fell unconscious.

No one was concsious when the bright light filled the entire room, and several cloaked figuers appeared near the back. One stood guard as the others kneeled down next to one of the unconscious group.

"Donald is going to have a nasty headache when he wakes." the figure kneeling beside the duck spoke, as they smoothed the feathers back in place and cast a healing spell.

"The same can be said about Goofy." another figure said as they cast a healing spell on him and rose to watch the others, and pulled the cloak back. The figure was a young woman with long dark hair, and wearing a blue and yellow dress. She watched the other figure next to Donald, pull the cloak back revealing long blonde hair, and could see the silver gown she wore.

"Tara is fine." Another young blonde woman spoke as she rose, and dusted off her blue dress.

"So is Faith." Another young girl with blonde hair said, as she, too, rose to watch the other with Willow and Buffy. "How are they?"

"Both have the Dragon Poison running through their veins. I am glad we got here in time." A young woman with brown hair, and a yellow dress said as two coaked figures appeared.

"Faith, Tara, is something wrong?" The guard asked turning toward the two women.

"No, Jasmine, everything is fine." Faith's twin smiled and kneeled beside Buffy, pressing her hand to the wound.

"We only came to help." Tara's twin kneeled pressing her hand to Willow's wound.

The others in the room watched as both girls' hands blowed with a warm white light, and could see the Dragon Poison being taken from their bodies. They then watched as the wounds began healing as a Curaga spell was cast on both girls.

"That should do it." Faith's twin said standing and grinned when she saw Faith staring back at her. "Are you feeling better?"

"Uh, yeah."

"I am glad to hear it."

"Hear what?" Tara asked rubbing the side of her head, "Oh! It's you." she said when she saw the twins.

"Nice to see you, too." Tara's twin shook her head.

"Sorry, but I wasn't expecting to see you here...and not in my dreams... Wait a minute! How are you here?"

"Yeah! Did they finally wake you up?" Faith cocked her head to the right.

The twins shook their heads, "No," Tara's twin said, "each of us has enough energy to appear where you have been."

"But why?" Tara asked confused as to why they were there.

Faith's twin glanced down at Willow and Buffy, "Because of them. They needed help."

"After you were knocked unconscious by the shadows, your lover's fought them, and became poisoned." The young woman in the blue and yellow dress said softly.

"If it weren't for them, they wouldn't have made it." Jasmine said stepping beside the twins.

"Jasmine? You're here too?"

The princess nodded, "Yes, but like them, I too can appear with the energy I have left."

"Then, we must thank you."

"No need." The twins smiled at Tara, "We wanted to help." Tara's twin said as she and the others began glowing.

"Remember this though," Faith's twin spoke as the group of young women became transparent, "They will be put through much worse as you continue your journey."

The girls watched the group of women disappear, and hurried over to Willow and Buffy. Both girls were still unconscious, but that didn't matter, what mattered was getting them awake, and getting off that ship.

Robotguru - Hey there, been a while...lol :D Nope the teleporting has no negative effects for the twins, or Jasmine. They just have to rest for a few hours, and let the energy gather before they can teleport again. And here's the update.

Egnalos - Yup, the girls are finally getting some help, and the one's helping them will soon be revealed, but not too soon. And the dark twins will get more annoying, but, they'll learn how wrong they were...down the road, anyway. ;)

WickedReds - Sorry to hear about about your hard drive, that sucks. Yup, just wait till you see who else was with Tara and Faith twins, and Jasmine. :)

Chapter Thirty-Eight: Another Keyhole

Once again Willow woke up with a pounding head, but this time she wasn't alone; Buffy groaned and squeezed her eyes tightly. The two things that caught their attention was one: They were alive, and two: The burning from the poison had been stopped.

But something else crossed their minds just a quick, who had healed them? The others had been unconscious when they had been poisoned, and most likely wouldn't have know they'd been poisoned.

Willow reached up, sliding her hand across her chest where the wound had been, and like it always was with magic, she didn't feel a scar. So with the poison cured, and the wound healed, she felt better even the pounding in her head was slowing. "Sweetie?" A smile crossed Willow's face when she heard Tara's voice, and sat up.

"How are you feeling?" Tara asked cupping her cheek, and left a soft kiss on her lips.

"A lot better now." Willow turned and saw Faith kissing Buffy, "How about Buff?"

"She's fine." Faith smirked and helped her lover to stand. "When she kisses me like that, I know she's fine."

"What happened?" Buffy asked blushing.

As Tara and Faith told the girls what had happened, Donald and Goofy searched through Captain Hook's room -hoping to find anything about the Heartless' plans- but found nothing more than Hook's journal. Donald flipped through it, and quickly replaced back on the desk, as his feathers turned red.

Goofy had been watching and was courious as to why Donald had nearly threw the book down, and started to ask, but saw Donald shake his head, "Trust me, the things written in there was worse than that night on the ship!"

"Oh." Goofy nodded thinking back to the night they hadn't gotten any sleep.

"Are you guys ready to leave?" Tara asked, but kept her eyes on Willow, making sure she was completely healed.

With the nods she recieved, Tara led the others toward the door, and stepped outside, and came face to face with Captain Hook. Willow pulled Tara back, and stepped in front of her as she gripped her blade. Buffy had reached into her pouch, and grabbed a mix ready to throw it at a moments notice, and could see Faith slowly reaching for her blade. Tara and Donald was readying a magic spell, as Goofy raised his shield.

"Quite a couple of codfish, those girls -running off with their lover's without even saying goodbye." Hook spoke waving his hand in the air.

"Where? Tell us, where did they go?" Tara demanded clenching her white glowing fist, as the Holy spell she was holding grew more powerful.

"To the ruins of Hollow Bastion, where Maleficent resides." Hook said, and then smirked, "But you won't be going there."

"And why the hellfire not?" Buffy glared pulling a Rolling Thunder mix from her pouch.

Hook raise his hooked hand up with a lantern hanging from it, and laughed, "Are you going to leave your little pixie friend behind?"

"No..." Willow shook her head, and let her Keyblade disappear, as the group was surrounded by Heartless shadows, soldiers, and flying soldiers.

"Hand over the Keyblades, and I'll spare your lives." Hook smirked, "Be glad I'm merciful, unlike the Heartless. So, which will it be? The Keyblades, or the plank?"

"You'll never get the Keyblades!" Donald shouted.

Hook stepped forward, and stopped as the ticking of a clock began getting closer, he glanced into the water and jumped, "It's him! The crocodile that took me hand! Oh, Smee!" Hook shouted hiding behind the shorter man, "He's after me other hand! I can't stay here!" The captain glared at the smiling crocodile, "Go away!" he screamed near panic before turning back to Mr. Smee, "Oh, I can't stand the sight of him! Smee, you take care of them!"

The group watched in shock as the captain bolted toward his cabin, and slammed the door shut, before they glanced at one another. "Okay, that was odd." Buffy shook her head and let a giggle escape.

"You're tellin' me." Faith grinned.

"Enough of that." Mr. Smee spoke and ordered the Heartless to push the group toward the plank.

The crocodile was half out of the water as the Heartless pushed Willow toward the end, where she could see the crocodile open his mouth. Willow sighed, after she and the others had let the Keyblades disappear, and refused to give them up she wondered if they could take them by surprise.

Right now, she only had two thoughts running through her mind. One was should she quickly turn, and cast a low-level spell, and risk hitting the others? Or should she jump, and be eaten by that ticking crocodile?

To be truthful to herself, Willow didn't like the first seeing as how she didn't want to hit anyone with the spell. And jumping into the mouth of the crocodile and being a snack was even less likeable. "Willow, fly!" Peter whispered so only she could hear, "Just believe, and you can do it!"

Willow closed her eyes, and heard the others scream when she jumped. The crocodile opened his mouth wider, just as Willow fell closer, and was surprised when his meal flew into the air, she cast a weak Thunder spell as she flew over the group -startling the Heartless and making them scatter. Peter dashed into the open, and grabbed the lantern with Tinker Bell, and released her.

"Thanks, Peter." Willow grinned as she landed beside Tara, and was crushed between three women.

"Don't mention it." Peter grinned, "I wouldn't leave you and Tink behind." he said and saw Mr. Smee running away.

"Air, need air!" Willow gasped and sucked in a breath when the girls let her go, and soon found herself being crushed again -this time by Donald and Goofy.

"Here come the Heartless." Faith said, and concentrated on her Keyblade, and felt all four blades appear.

"You're all goin' down!" Buffy smirked and jumped over two shadows, and threw a Firestorm mix on them, as she twisted in mid-air, striking a flying soldier.

Faith back flipped away from two soldiers, and cast a Blizzaga spell as she landed, and lunged forward striking the frozen Heartless, and watched them shatter. Goofy used his shield to knock a shadow away from Tara as she concentrated on a Holy spell, and let it fly. Three flying soldiers, and two shadows were caught in the spell, and disappeared. Donald cast a Thundaga spell on the last two shadows, and saw Willow bring her blade down on the last soldier.

"Well that was easy." Faith grinned and turned toward Hook's cabin, "Now, what about him?"

"Watch." Peter smirked, and approached the door with the others behind him. "Stand to the side." he said and knocked on the door.

"Is that you, Smee?" Hook asked through the door, "Did you finish them off?"

Peter cleared his throat, "Aye, Captain." he said in Mr. Smee's voice, "They walked the plank, every last one of them."

Captain Hook rushed out of the door, and stopped, he didn't see Smee anywhere. Peter quietly stepped behind him, and poked the captain on the ass when his dagger, and jumped back when Hook turned, "P-Peter Pa-blast you!"

"You ready to make a splash, you codfish?" Peter asked grinning, "Now it's your turn to walk to the plank!"

"I think not." Hook said unsheathing his sword, and quickly swiped at Peter, as more Heartless appeared.

Donald ran forward casting a Firaga spell and throwing two flying soldiers back, as Goofy spun around killing a shadow. Tara jumped back, and to the right as she cast a Holy spell, and stumbled forward when a shadow raked its claws down her back. Willow growled, and quickly cut the shadow in half, as she cast a Cura spell on Tara, and cast a Thundaga spell on another shadow.

A Flare spell killed off two more soldiers, and three shadows, as Buffy flipped over using a flying soldier to kick higher into the air, and threw a Waterfall mix. Faith blocked the metal claws of two flying soldiers, and kicked one of them away, as she quickly spun around and brought her blade down on the other. Willow flipped backwards, and kicked anothr flying soldier into the air, and swung her sword up to meet it as it fell through the air.

Peter was meeting each of Captain Hook's sword swings with his dagger, and pushing forward with all his strength. Hook stumbled back, and fell into the water. With the Heartless gone, the group looked over the side of the ship, and saw Hook shaking his fist at Peter. He stopped and looked around when he heard the 'Tick Tock' sound, and saw the crocodile swimming toward him. Hook let out a strangled cry, and hurriedly swam away with the crocodile hot on his tail.

Buffy glanced at the ship's deck, and leaned down, "Cool, we got ourselves another report." she grinned, and then giggled when she heard Hook screamed for the crocodile to get away from him.

"Thanks for your help." Peter stuck his hand out, and shook the group's hands; Buffy stumbled for a moment when she clasped hands with him.

"Whoa! Sweet!"

"What?" Faith asked holding her steady.

"I have a new ability. Ars Arcanum... what ever that is. Guess I'll have to use it to see, huh?"

"It'll come in handy, and here, I found this little red stone. It seems to have a strange power, so, you can have it." Peter handed the stone to Willow. "Hope it's useful for you." he said and saw Tinker Bell flying toward him. "What's wrong, Tink?"

The little fairy pointed to a large clock tower, and began speaking. "There's something at the clock tower?"

The group glanced at one another and nodded, "Hey, Peter, can you take us there?" Faith asked glancing between him and the fairy.

"We think we know what's there." Tara smiled, and could only hope they were right.

Peter shrugged, "Sure, come on."

Peter jumped into the air, and watched the group follow his lead, and began flying after him as he and Tinker Bell led them toward the giant clock. Tara's blade began glowing as they approached the clock, and saw a giant Keyhole appeared, her blade rose into the air, and shot a beam into the center, sealing the heart of the world. Donald flew forward to catch the little gummi piece that fell from the hole, and nodded.

Meanwhile...

Maleficent watched as the dark twins appeared, and narrowed her eyes, "It was reckless to bring them here without at least using a vessel." She said and stepped forward, "Remember, relying too heavily on the dark powers could cost you your hearts."

A loud growling, and a crash could be heard echoing in the room, "What was that?" Buffy asked turning toward the noise.

"Nothing but a castaway. Though his world perished, his heart did not. When we took the princess from his castle, he apparently followed her here through sheer force of will."

"Well isn't that nice." Buffy rolled her eyes, and let a sigh escape. She knew they'd probably have to deal with whoever it was.

Maleficent watched the girls, and smiled her best 'Trust Me" smile, "But fear not. No harm will come to you. He is no match for your power."

"Our power?" Willow looked up, crossing her arms.

"Yes, the untapped power that lies within you both." the witch spoke and placed a hand on each girls' shoulder, "Now, it's time for that power to be awakened, and for you both to realize your full potential."

The dark twins glowed a dark, almost black, purple, and felt the power unleashed within their bodies, and saw their cloths change to a dark blue, and black bodysuit.

Back with the others....

"Peter, are you really going back to Neverland?" Wendy asked with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Afraid so. But we can see each other any time, as long as you don't forget about Neverland, that is." Peter grinned, and held the girl's hand.

Donald began laughing when he saw Tinker Bell cross her arms, "Oh, boy. She's gettin' steamed again." Peter shook his head, "Do me a favor. Look after her for me, will ya?"

"What?" Willow stared at him before glancing at the angry fairy, and thinking she really didn't need a pissed off pixie flying around the ship.

"Go on, Tink." Peter nodded, and watched as Tinker Bell landed on Tara's shoulder, and disappeared.

Willow held on to Tara and shook her head, "Another summon. Well at least it's not as bad as the Aeons were, huh?'' she grinned and nodded to Peter before she and the others teleported back to the ship.

So a new summon uh? Tara and Tinker Bell; wonder what power that would be.

Another world, another keyhole sealed and another baddie that goes away. But now the dark twins are more powerful and still as blind as ever; and now that they have more darkness in them is going to get worse, I guess. Even knowing that things will get better for them, I know it's going to be hard to get there if they're constantly loaded with darkness. :sigh

Anyway the girls keep kicking asses :D but things are for sure going to get rough with the new powers of the dark twins.

Egnalos - Yep, and Tara'll be getting another summon in the next chapter, and then if I remember right, there is one more summon to get. There won't be any dark twins for a few chapters, since I'm going to take the girls into another world first. Here's the update. :D

Chapter Thirty-Nine: Back to Traverse Town

Once the group was back on the Star Kingdom ship; Donald glanced at the gummi piece in his hand, and nodded as he made a decision. Buffy was already in the pilot's seat awaking the ship from its standby mode, and turned the seat around holding the new report in her hand.

"What's it say?" Goofy asked from his own seat, and yawned.

Buffy groaned when she looked the paper over, "We're still missing some reports, this one is nine."

"Well, that's just great. But Maleficent probably has the others, all we have to do is get them from her." Faith said setting her blade to the side of her chair, and leaned back, "Okay, let's here what this one says."

Report 9

Simply astonishing!

Today I had a guest from another world. He is a

king, and his vessel is built of the material that composed the

meteors. He called the pieces "gummi blocks." It seemed that my opening the door has opened a path to interworld travel.

We talked for countless hours, but one story in particular caught my interest: that of a key called the "Keyblade." The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power. One legend says its wielder saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos and ruin upon it.

I must know what this Keyblade is. A key opens doors. It must be connected to the door I have opened.

D'Hoffryn

"King Mickey met him!" Donald shouted surprised, "When, and why didn't he tell us?"

"Right now I'm not worried about Mickey meeting this guy, I'm more worried about the other part." Tara said standing and holding her hand out for the report in Buffy's hand.

"What's wrong, baby?" Willow asked, but was worried about, most likely the same thing.

"The legend about the Keyblade wielder bringing chaos and ruin upon the world." Tara turned toward the guys, silently asking with her eyes if it was true.

Donald shrugged, "We don't know much about it, only King Mickey knows everything about the Keyblade... we know only what you know."

"I don't like the sound that," Faith eyed her blade, "I mean, I don't wanna be one who destroys a world with this thing."

"We won't." Buffy said forcefully, "There is no way we could, we're not evil, doesn't it take someone evil to destroy a world?" she glanced at Willow, who was staring at her, and one thought crossed both their minds, The twins!

"But an evil person can't touch the Keyblade, so how could that happen?" Goofy asked stiffling another yawn.

"Look, we can worry about that later. Right now, let's set course to Traverse Town, and have Giles to install the new Navi-Gummi we got from Neverland." Donald glanced around the bridge, and saw the girls nod.

"Yeah, okay." Buffy turned back to the controls, and set the auto-pilot, "I guess we can get some sleep, too."

"You're right," Willow yawned, "It'll take a while to reach the town.

That night as the guys slept peacefully; the girls were tossing and turning in their beds, and began dreaming. The girls opened their eyes to find themselves in a small dark room lit only by candle light, and could feel the darkness. But something else caught their attention, they could feel something warm growing more powerful, and for once -everything felt safe.

Footsteps caused the girls to turn to their right, and could barely make out two dark shapes in the dim light, but knew who it was. Tara smiled as she embraced her mother, and saw Willow doing the same with her own mother. "What are you doing here?" Tara asked as the two women sat down, motioning for the girls to do the same.

"We've come to tell you of how the darkness was born." Mythe spoke, and looked to Willow, and then Buffy, You haven't told them of your test have you? she spoke directly into their minds, startling both girls.

No, we haven't. Came their answers, We don't want them to worry. Willow said to her mother-in-law.

Just remember, when they find out, you're going to be in trouble. Shelia spoke and covered her giggles with a cough.

"Hey, how is Spira? Is the Heartless attacking our home?" Tara asked worriedly.

"No, Spira is fine, for now. We will tell you when Spira needs your help." Shelia closed her eyes, not wanting to tell the girls that everyone on the Farplane had to fight off a group of Heartless. She knew if the girls could just get to Maleficent, Spira could wait.

"Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light." Mythe began in a soft voice, "Everyone loved the light, but soon the people began to fight over it. You see, they wanted to keep if for themselves, and darkness was born in their hearts--"

"That's how it was born?" Faith interrupted, "Wait! How can a person keep light to themselves?"

"Yeah, it's not like you can put the sun in your pocket... that burn you to death... not to mention it wouldn't fit anyway." Buffy said getting a giggle from the older women.

"The darkness spread," Shelia continued, "swallowing the light and many people's hearts. It covered everything, and the world disappeared. But small fragments of light survived...in the hearts of children. With these fragments of light, children rebuilt the lost world. It's the world we live in now. But the true light sleeps, deep within the darkness."

"How can light be in darkness? I thought if it was dark there was no light to be seen." Willow tried to puzzle it out, but got a headache for her trouble.

"You may not see it, but in every darkness there is light." Shelia told her daughter, Just like there is still light in your twins' hearts. she said into Willow and Buffy's minds.

"And in light, there is always darkness waiting to be released." Mythe spoke glancing from Buffy to Willow, "Remember, not all light is good, and not all darkness is evil. Even in light lies the heart of evil, and in darkness lies the heart of love."

"Now, back to the story," Shelia grinned at the former summoner.

Mythe nodded, "That's why the worlds are still scattered, divided from each other. But someday, a door to the innermost darkness will open. And the true light will return. So, listen, my children, even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a light to guide you. Believe in the light, and the darkness will never defeat you. Your heart will shine with its power and push the darkness away. Do you understand, girls?"

"Not really," Buffy shook her head, "But, all we have to do is believe, right?"

"Yeah, and in believing, the darkness won't win."

"You are right, daughter." Shelia smiled, "Just remember, let your light shine in the darkness, and you'll always keep the darkness at bay."

"Now, it is time for you to wake. We believe in you, and we love you." Both women stood and embraced each of the girls, and kissing their foreheads.

When the girls woke, the ship was hovering around Traverse Town; Donald had put the ship in standby, and set the alarms as he and Goofy waited for the girls. When they appeared, the town was still quite, but it also had more people, and small animals around -more worlds had been destroyed.

The one thing that made them smile was Pinocchio and Geppetto sitting on the steps, and staring into the night-time sky -at least they had made it here safely. The group waved at the older man, and wooden boy as they stepped into Giles' shop, and found him behind the counter.

"Hey, Giles, how ya been?" Faith spoke as she hopped up on the counter, and began swinging her feet back and forth.

"Fine. What about you?"

"Well, you know, just the usual, killing Heartless here and there."

"Plus we have something for you to install in our ship." Buffy said and watched Donald had the gummi over.

"Okay, I'll install it, just wait here." Giles started out the door, and stopped when Buffy followed, "What are you doing?"

"I'm going with you. That's my baby, and besides, I wanna know how to install these things, ya know. I'd like to do some work on the ship sometime, and from watching you work, I'll know how."

"Yeah, okay. Come on."

The others watched Buffy and Giles disappear through the door, and knew when Buffy learned how to install gummi's, they were going to need stronger seatbelts. Willow sighed, she knew it was Buffy's way of not thinking about what they weren't telling their lover's, and frowned.

Should they tell them? Willow still didn't think so, it would worry them too much. And if they knew, then they would try and stop whatever was going to happen, and she couldn't let that happen.

"No frowing." Goofy smiled when Willow looked up.

"How can you guys be so cheerful?" Willow asked and thought about Mickey, "We still haven't found a sign of your king, aren't you worried?"

"Aw, phooey." Donald shorted, "King Mickey knows what he's doing."

"The king told us to find the key bearer, and we found you girls. So as long as we stick together, it'll all work out okay." Goofy smiled once more, "Ya just gotta believe in yourselves, that's all."

We believe in you. Willow heard her mother say, and felt warm arms wrap around her neck, and heard a whispered 'I love you.' from Tara. "I love you, too." Willow whispered back, feeling a little better than what she had been, but still worried about the things she knew was to come.

"I installed that navigation gummi," Giles said as he entered the shop with Buffy behind him, "Buffy told me what you're up to, and I don't like it. Ya know, that place is crawling with Heartless." he crouched down behind the counter, and rose with another gummi in his hand, "Here, take this with you."

"What is it?" Tara asked looking at the red and white block.

"It's a Transform-G. It'll make the ship go faster, Buffy can install it when she has time." Giles said causing everyone but Buffy to pale just a little. Buffy bounced up and down shouting happily.

"Oh, yeah! Time to make my baby faster!" Buffy shouted.

Giles' eyebrows shot to his hairline, "Maybe that wasn't such a good idea." He said to himself as the group thanked him, and left the shop.

"Let's take this stone to the Fairy Godmother." Tara held up the red stone, and started toward Merlin's house.

So they're still keeping secrets from each other gosh!

Well I just hope things won't get to the point when their light turns to the darkness waiting to be released in them and end up like their twins and what with the whole legend about the Keyblade wielder bringing chaos and ruin upon the world, well that sounds kinda bad and thinking about that test that Willow and Buffy are going to have to pass...

Anyway I rambled enough and probably made no sense because I'm kinda sleepy so my final lines...

Great update, more soon? :bounce :yawn :bounce :yawn mmmmhhhhh... ok stopping with the bouncing now. :yawn
