Well done watson, this was a spectacular example of why pens exists in the first place.

Loved every bit of it, even the timeline that confused me a bit
And I say there's trouble when everything is fine...
The need to destroy things creeps up on me every time

It was interesting their discussion on where they were with each other especially with Tara having all this time to wait, she summed it up pretty well with;Quote:
"You. You are all I've been thinking about," Tara murmured.
, and just...beautiful! Well written, well ended...I LOVED it!
Before you judge and criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way if you still don't like them you're a mile away and you have their shoes!

I felt it was better to leave it as, there was a crinkle in time, TPTB wanted to correct it, they injected some magic into the mailbox and that's it. How did the mailbox work? Er well, it just did, yeah?Quote:
I liked that the anomaly never really got explained
it doesn't matter about leaving feedback, I'm just glad you enjoyed it. No, and I don't think we necessarily need an explanation, sometimes things are best explained as "it just is". You raise a good point about the Scoobies' reactions. They knew Willow was corresponding with someone from the pastQuote:
Of course here there is virtually no explanation
What I missed, and that's kinda uncharacteristic for the Scooby gang, is that they didn't investigate the mailbox. But then, this story has always been focused on W and T only, the rest of the gang plays a very small role, I didn't want their presence to distract from the central relationship. May be if I was able to turn back the clock and write this story again I would put in more explanation, more Scooby interactions, but then again I may write the exact same story, I dunno. Thanks again.Quote:
From Chapter 2:
"Huh? Oh, this pencil? You'll never believe it, it's from Tara," Willow replied, holding up the multi-colored pencil for Buffy to see.
"Your penpal from the past sent you a 3 year old pencil? How? What? How?" Xander asked.

I'm gonna miss my head hurting and my brow furrowing while I read the updates. Sigh, those were the days.
That? Was beautifully written. Ultimately, this was not a time travel story. The only objects that traveled through the fabric of time were some letters, a pencil, and perhaps some photos. Small things, but large in their significance. In the end, it's simply a story of 2 people to meet in an unconventional way, fall in love, and finally meet. And that's it.Quote:
There are some questions left unanswered--and that's the way it should be. Because that is the way life is.

You took an interesting premise and improved it for the better.
Jess wrote:I loved to see the girls living in their own separate worlds while sharing that one common bond..each other and you portrayed that soooo well. It shows how we can live our lives day by day with the same routine and in just one moment, with one stroke of a pen, we are completely changed forever.

I don't think I've read a fic so fast in months. Especially not interspersed with errands, and the rest of my life. I truly love it. It's a wonderful fic, and it brought me to tears. Thank you so much for writing it, and letting us read it.Ressick wrote: I don't think I've read a fic so fast in months. Especially not interspersed with errands, and the rest of my life. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE STORY. The first day you posted the story on that archive (all at once, thank God), I read it. Every single word. And I fell so deeply in love with all of it!!
