“I was thinking I should have a sleeping bag with me, except I don’t own one. Are we sure going into this isn’t going to create chaos?” Dawn wondered
“Oh, I know it won’t. I have been there before. Hmm… A sleeping bag? I imagine the magical place could provide one. Now…” Tara answered as removed three conductor whistles from the dresser. She turned to Dawn “Here. Put this around your neck. Don’t blow on it, yet.”
Dawn looked at the whistle curiously. “Now, if you were Willow, I’d be a little suspici-“ Dawn knew that Willow’s transformation had bothered Tara, so she stopped and said “I’m just anxious to see her, without the careless magic attitude.”
“I know you are. . You’ve been through a lot.” Tara said as she hugged Dawn, comforting her.
Tara had placed her whistle around her neck, while Dawn was busy waiting on the bed. “I’ve learned you don’t need sleepwear in this special place, your clothes will automatically change.” Tara was saying. While they were talking, a certain curious feline jumped on the bed and rested nearby. Tara noticed her, but she figured she would be welcome to go with them. “You ready?” Tara asked, picking up her whistle and putting to her lips. Dawn was ready, and as they blew, everything around them started to fade away. The kitten was undisturbed.
Meanwhile, Willow had been talking with King Friday.
“Certainly, she may come, but I do wish you could stay longer. You have been such a wonderful help. Please do think about that, won’t you?” he asked, a triumphant tone added to his voice.
“I shall, Sire.” Willow replied
“Well, then. Farewell” The king disappeared into the castle.
I should take the cards to Daniel. It is a joy to see him, but I miss my friends at home.
Willow walked over to Daniel’s clock and knocked. Daniel appeared.
“Lady Elaine requested that I give these to you.” She handed him the colorful cards.
“These are beautiful colors.” He stopped “Willow, What’s that?
“What?” Willow was towards Daniel, so she could not see the incoming light.
“That shiny, bright light!” Daniel responded. Willow turned towards it.
It was a little frightening at first, but as the object came into focus, she began to smile.
It was Tara and Dawn!
“TARA! DAWN! YOU’RE HERE!” Shouted Willow excitedly
“Yes. I am back. I had originally wanted to take you home, but considering the fun you were having, I decided it “wasn’t fair” and wanted to join in. Dawn joined, and the kitten fell asleep on the bed before we left, so I let her come with us.” Tara said, “And who is this friendly fellow? Tara asked, a half-smile beaming at the tiger.
Daniel was usually very shy, but Willow was nearby, and because she knew the guests, he was not afraid.
“Daniel S. Tiger, but I would just prefer “Daniel”.” Daniel replied.
“It’s a pleasure meeting you.” Tara said
“You, too.” Daniel said, “I think you should check in at the Castle.”
“Oops! I’ve been here a while and I forgot” Willow realized, “Would you like to come along?”
Being amongst a friendly group, the tiger did not hesitate. “Sure.”
Tara, very gently, lifted the shy tiger out of the clock. She reminded Dawn to get the kitten.
“We don’t want her to be frightened by us leaving her behind.” She explained.
Daniel could see the size of the kitten. “Especially since it’s very tiny, and it hasn’t met anybody yet.” Tara could only smile.
It wasn’t long before the group reached the castle. Edgar Cooke was out in the garden.
“ ♪How do you do?♪ ” Sang Edgar Cooke
“Very well. We wanted to check in with Queen Sara.” Tara replied, “Do you like singing?”
“♪ I enjoy it very well. It is such a fun thing to do that I speak this way too ♪” Sang Edgar Cooke
Edgar Cooke left to get Queen Sara. They were back quickly.
“It’s a pleasure to see you again, my dear.” Queen Sara said to Tara, “Who is this young lady?’ she asked of Dawn.
“Dawn Summers, Your Majesty.” Dawn replied
You do not have to remind me of who you are. I know the answer to that question. It is one of the nicer artificial memories I have. Dawn Thought
“Willow, now that you have been here for a while, when you help someone, think of you might do if that was Tara.” Willow had not expected that idea to come from the queen. “Friday tells me he wishes that you would be able to control your usage of magic before you leave for the final time.”
“You put yourself here, Willow. The only way you’ll get out of this is trying your best, and not overdoing your intentions.” Tara whispered sadly.
