Tara is alive because D'Hoffryn took back the wish Halfrek granted to Amy (Warren's stray bullet). Thus, Tara never died at the end of Seeing Red. D'Hoffryn has his own agenda, I suspect.

An interesting way of accomplishing what we all want - Willow and Tara together.

I'm sure D'Hoffryn has his reasons for superseding Halfrek's wish to Amy. A sequel?

I like that in Tara's place she was able to share more of her past with Willow. I think Willow's decision, before now, not to broach the subject of Tara's family was understandable, but I think Tara needed to talk about it.

Mollyig - you're right, I think Tara needed to get somethings off her chest, er, so to speak...but these two belong together no matter what, so there was never a question how they'd end up....and sequal? Mmmm....

Deixs - no patience necessary...this was a complicated story and it probably would have been easier going if I had posted the whole thing at one time, to see it whole, rather than piecemeal. Thanks for hanging in there!

Thanks to all for reading! *g*

(next fic - probably more comedy and smut *g*)

I want to thank those of you who took the time to offer your generous feedback on this fic - I've appreciated it enormously and hope this wasn't too traumatizing. *g*

Since this one is done...could the mods move this to the finished fics?

Thanks again...and I'll be back...with funny things (hopefully) and smut and chocolate and...what else do you need? *g*

Twisted Minstrel,

I've got to add a word on this, as I've read Above Between Below and thought it totally brilliant. This was so completely surreal, not knowing where I was for so long, just didn't expect it. But it was lovely the way you connected things and brought us round full circle as it were.

Tara was so frightening here but I agree she need to have some of her own back, as you put it. Your words just worked down to the raw and Willow's letter was so incredibly moving. I really weeped on this one, just brilliant. Please write more!

Gotta love my Tara!

Me too, I read "Above, Between, Below" first, so when I saw this fic I was like, :D Oooh, more fun stuff. With that thought I was totally unprepared for what awaited. And although I was confused for a short while, I got it in the end, and I totally loved it. I love seeing Tara stand up for herself! I think I loved her the most on the show when she broke up with Willow (and of course not because I don't think they should be together, au contraire, I'm a true kitten!) because she really needed to just be Tara. So, reading this fic was therapy in so many ways, Thank You.:love

Whee!

Postby notl33t » Mon Jun 16, 2003 5:48 pm

I love you, I love you, I love you!

This one was nice to read.

Makes me wish for better days, though.

sniff, sniff.

I liked how intense Tara and Willow were during the scenes of just Tara and Willow. It was incredible to read. I think the show made a mistake by not letting Tara be completely cruel to Willow. She should have been angrier than she was portrayed, but they just let her be gentle and walk off like a holier-than-thou person.

I also liked Anya's part in it. It shows that she is "human," that she learned a lot from being with the Scoobs.

All in all, thumbs up!

Gosh. Thank you for reading - we love you, too! :bigkiss

And no bowing, please - I much prefer frolicking and capering. And yes, I know I'm too old for it. I don't care.

Have you read Above Between Below? Much less with the angst. ;) Thanks for posting!

I honestly have no words to describe how truly wonderful this story is. I was literally transfixed reading it. Your words are breathtaking and I really don't want to say anymore because it won't do justice to my feelings. Thank you is about all I can say.

Two lines from ch. 3 really struck me as being....well, sad I guess. But "sad" in this really nice, cleansing kind of way. I really think that's what your story did for me, I felt like it washed over me somehow and got rid of all of that Season Six ugliness. It's kind of like that poem you quoted from T.S. Eliot, how you can be "moved" by an "infinitely suffering thing." I really like the drama, the angst, the depressing stuff. I like that raw emotion. To me it's the only thing you can really feel. Maybe I have some issues I need to work on with my therapist, but I digress. Anyway, the line where Willow says,
“I want you to be Tara.”

to Glory/Tara and then the line where Tara says,
“I see you there, sometimes. I see you right about there…”
.
Those lines were so beautiful and sad to me. Willow is so desperate and Tara has been staring up at the stars searching for Willow....wow, wow, wow!

Willow's letter from ch. 6 seriously choked me up. I don't think I've ever actually had tears in my eyes reading a fic.

And finally I really loved this last part from ch. 7,
Tara noticed how Willow’s eyes could wander whenever she entered a room and smiled.

So sexy and so true.

I adore your fic. I think it is one of the best pieces of writing I have ever had the pleasure to read. And I really appreciate the sorrow it made me feel. I know that may sound weird but I'm a sucker for stuff like that. Thank you again. You made my night.

amy

P.S. Thanks also for the tip on the book of poetry. :)
As one, they turn to the soda machine. It flies back into the door like a cannonball. Willow looks at it, at Tara. She doesn't let go of her hand.

I loved this fic. It was really intense, and that's what really got to me. You let Tara be herself in so many ways, she was way more than the character we've seen on Buffy. I liked how you did that, it made her so real, more complex.

It was amazing.

I am supposed to write a 10 page final paper for my writing class. Naturally I procrastinate and read W/T fanfictions. Anyways I find this one, and my eyes bulged out of my head, either from allergies or the emotions you portrayed in this story. (Probably the latter.) I admit I did not understand a damn thing that was happening, I even let out a frustrated scream, when you took Willow out from the dimension with Tara. BUT when you unfolded everything with the wish that didn't happen and Hallie dying rather than Anya...oh man. Huge goofy grin on my face. You rock. A creative and exciting story bringing together the best couple in televison history.
