It probably isn't archived yet, was it posted here or on novogate? Because you could see if it was moved over here.

Lisa-

You not only posses the ability to write Willow and Tara so well, but you also get to meet Amber?? How does one woman become so lucky? An...this may make me seem stupid for asking, but how'd you meet her?

bumping it back

Postby Sharri » Mon May 06, 2002 4:27 am

this is just a cheap trick to bump it back to page one - for all of us who sneak check at work - this makes getting caught trying to get out next fix far less risky!!!

Bump, bump!

Postby Jennpurr » Mon May 06, 2002 8:40 am

Hey Lisa,

I just wanted to say that I just re-read this from the beginning. I caught on to some things that I missed the first time I read. Again, I am sooo amazed by your writing abilities. WOW girl. :bounce You're awesome. Can you convince Joss to let you write for the show? :grin :love

At least we would get our share of quality :willow :tara lovin' and we wouldn't have to worry about either one of them going anywhere.

Again, wow.... I so can't wait to see how you tie this all into a conclusion. Too bad you ended the Buffy/Tara arc, or I think you did. It would have been interesting if you had drug it out longer. Hee hee... ;)

**BUMP, BUMP** Need more :willow :tara goodness! :love

thanks and hello from homework hell

Postby Lisa of Nine » Mon May 06, 2002 10:33 am

I apologize for the delays. I've been extremely busy with school and real life. It doesn't help that I've been reading spoilers. No update for now, but I am working on it. My next paper isn't due until Thursday.

:-(

Add to that, my 38-year-old cousin had a stroke this morning at 6am. Her doctor was less that nice about it too. He said, "You're 38 years old, 30 pounds overweight, smoke and take birth control... what did you expect?"

At the moment, I'm having a hard time getting back to WIllow and Tara. I will spend a few hours transcribing dictated sections.

Thank you all for always giving me wonderful comments and support. I would love to take each and every one of you and keep you. *EG*

The neighbors would call me "that lesbian with all the kittens." Little would they know ... these kittens would not have four legs...hehehehehe

Okay, I just went to the naughty place. I need a hot bath and loofa... and mittens... many mittens with loofas!

Thanks again. I can't stress enough how much everyone's comments mean to me.

Lisa

PS, thanks for everyone who offered the web addresses for my stories. I haven't been online as often as I should be and I'm glad people are so helpful.

your cousin

Postby Sharri » Mon May 06, 2002 11:15 am

I don't know why, since so many seem to be such pigs - but your cousin's doctor should be castrated. What a turd!

I hope she fairs well and bounces back. I'm a naturopath (deal with natural medicines) and I for one don't think that weight is the ultimate telling factor. I know plenty of skinny people who are very unhealthy, and I know some mildly overweight people and some rather overweight people who are very healthy! I'm probably carrying about the same excess as your cousin and I nearly never catch a cold or flu. I'm the poor sucker still at the office while the others drop like flies!

I will send good thoughts to you and your cousin. Next time that doctor says something so insensitive - poke him in the eye. Then you can say, "you're an insensitive wanker, what did you expect?"

Hello Lisa,

Good luck with homework and finals....I sooo know how that goes.

Sorry to hear about your cousin, that doctor is a schmuck!

You would think they would make doctors pass continuing- humanity tests in order to qualify to be a doctor. Of course, that's why they have M.D. after their name and not healer.

Mittens with Loofas! Hey, I want to be one of those....are there any tests I have to pass?

*Brandishes Loofa like favorite sword!!*

Have no fear Lisa, the loofa squad is here!

Have a good day at class,

Best wishes of a fast recovery to your cousin. I hope that the ass of a doctor she has doesn't pick at her anymore.

And many hugs to you. *g* I'm always willing to brandish a loofa for a woman in need *eg*

First let me say I hope your cousin gets better. I am sure the myself and the Kittens send their best wishes and thoughts out to you and your family.

Second, please let me apologize on behalf of the male species, not all of us are jerks which this doctor sounds like. I for one am not...at least my girlfriend says I am not 22 1/2 hours of the day.:grin

Third and last, keep up the great work and take your time with your update. Take care of yourself and when you are up for it we will be here.

Thank you sooo much for this story! I just found it, and I couldn't stop reading. I love the way you are so true to the character's personalities. The dialogue between Willow, Tara, and Anya makes me laugh outloud! :lol :lol Also, I love your choice of Avatars! That scene has always been my favorite!

Chapter??

Postby Jennifer » Tue May 14, 2002 8:42 am

Do any faithful Mittens remember which Chapter it was where Anya and Xander are watching Old Yeller, and Anya cries? One of the Scoobies makes the comment "Oh great, you made the Vengenance Demon cry". I love that chapter and I want to re-read it, but I don't want to go through 39 chapters to find it. Thanks in advance

not an Update

Postby Lisa of Nine » Wed May 15, 2002 9:17 pm

I just wanted to swing by and thank you all for the support you've offered.

My cousin is stable, but there was a lot of damage. We've been spending a great deal of time at the hospital. She can't move her right side and can't speak. It hurts to see her like this. She's a strong willed, intelligent woman and I can see that part of her is still in her eyes.

I've spent some time on the kitten board reading about what M.E. has done to our Tara, and I am heartsick. My soul hurts.

I have a nightclass tonight, but I am off tomorrow and I am going to work to get the last chapter done. It has a rather long epilogue. If I get it finished by sometime Saturday, I'll post the entire thing. Otherwise, I may just post the last chapter Saturday and get the epilogue up later.

Any thoughts? I wanted the chapter and epilogue posted together, but I feel awful for making you wait as long as I have.

Thank you again. Your words have been a source of solace through a very dark time. I'm sure all the good thoughts have helped my cousin.

Lisa,

My prayers are with you. I'm sorry to hear about all this that you are going through. Just know we are all thinking about you and praying for your family. Take care of yourself.

And take you time. I know you're going through a hard time right now. Personally... I'd rather read the final chapter and the epilouge together, but it's up to you. I'll look forward to reading either way. ;)

I'll leave you with a **HUG**

And you're right about the Tara thing. They are spineless bastards. I can't believe all this crap they are putting up through. Grrrrr....

Take care Lisa,

Lisa,

You have graced us with this beautiful story. Now is time for you to take care of yourself and your loved ones. We all await the next loving adventure but do what you need to do and we will still be here waiting on baited breathe. This little mitten bows down before you glorious radiance with a mamosa and a nice bath. I just wish you were a writer on Buffy then we wouldn't have to endure the travesty that is now taking place.
