The worst job that I have had was temping for 4 months at an insurance company in the claims department. We handled mostly claims for truckers. Some parts of it were okay, the people I worked with were nice, but it was so crazy monotonous. I would answer phones and take claims over the phone (which could be really interesting because some of these accidents could be interesting), tell people if their checks had gone out yet, talk to doctor's offices wanting to know why they hadn't gotten paid yet, and worst of all, I folded all of the checks going out every day. It was so BORING, and i couldn't listen to music, couldn't go on the internet while at work, and I got paper cuts ALL THE TIME!
I like my job now. In fact, I'm at work now. I work at the circulation desk of the theological library at school and get to go on the computer a lot and do readings for classes while i'm here, and i get to handle really old books! We have some books from the 1600s here which look SO cool. I always get to go into the "employee only" section of the library and handle old sermons printed in the 1700s and fun stuff like that. I always get a thrill from handling something that's so old. and I love the smell of old books.

And I get to see people who come in and talk to friends a lot.
