Insane Troll Logic Monday

Postby tommo » Mon May 27, 2002 4:40 am

It's raining.

It's summer.

It's raining in the summer and I can't for the life of me see how the rest of the friggin' summer is going to be any different.

So I got bored and thought, okay, I know how to amuse myself when it's raining, but do [b:c8b9c8cabf] other[/b:c8b9c8cabf] people? :)

Here's your question -

[b:c8b9c8cabf] When it's raining and cold outside, how do Willow and Tara amuse themselves and help pass the time?[/b:c8b9c8cabf]

Can I just add that the obvious answer to this question is already in my head. Pretty graphically actually. So you know, imaginative ideas help. :lol

tommo - well depends what side of the Pennines you are on (assuming you are up north), but it is supposed to get nicer as the summer progresses. The only plus point to my bad decision to move across the M62 is the lack of rain!

Willow and Tara? Um, they fuck? Or maybe they do college work? They do seem to be very studious. I like the brainy types ;)

When it's raining and cold outside, there's nothing to do except curl up in a nice warm bed with a big fluffy comforter, and of course, another body to help keep the bed warm. And if that comforter should just happen to get thrown to the floor, oh well, nobody'll notice anyway since there will be the two bodies to keep things all ... hot anyway.

And since I don't have anyone to help me keep the bed warm at the moment, I just curl up with a book and cup of tea. Or stare out the window and watch the rain.

Hmmmm other than the obvious answer as Tommo said, I think they dress Ms Kitty Fantastico up in little hats and her own little bad wardrobe outfits...Not to mention they probably do the snuggly thing in bed, reading or studying, in comfortable silence just happy to be with one another...

La, I just noticed the quote in your signature, I chuckled cause i was stationed in Korea for a year, while in the Army..I was in Uijongbu, home of MASH 4077..

Kate; I'm South Manchester way. In the hilly valleys of South Manchester that border on the Derbyshire peaks.

It's gorgeous countryside but it doesn't half pull the rain clouds over a lot. Sigh.

[b:f55cb3d2e7] friskylez[/b:f55cb3d2e7], that's north of Seoul, eh? I'm all the way on the southwest coast, in Mokpo. If you like my sig, I have 30 more of those, some of which I shared with the island kitties in the spoilerfree thread, back before the merger with the hope thread. I bet you'd find many of them amusing, though we have had very different experiences I'm sure. :D

edited cuz look at me! all with the sassy eggs!

Wet and raining outside is never good unless you're with someone! Willow and Tara - definitely with the snuggles in bed and joining the ground outside they decide to get wet inside (if you know what I mean...wink..wink..nudge..nudge..)

Ninjitsu girl- actually they play checkers.
Well I bet Willow surfs the web, looking for more things to do during a rainy day *cough*[i:3eea0c3ef8] lesbiankamasutra[/i:3eea0c3ef8]*cough*. Tara, I see sitting on the porch, enjoying the storm while staying dry.

Well thank god for you Kate...I was beginning to wonder where all the City fans had got to. Heh. ;)

My nephew is also a City fan, like his dad. It's cute. He wears their strip and everything.

As for myself, I'm generally not involved. Or at least, as little as possible. :)

Ahh Ruth...Insane Troll Logic...how I've missed that one "love

How would our girls pass the time? Well the obvious choice is, well, obvious ;) but after that, they would snuggle of course and Willow would do something on her computer and Tara would read a book.

Willow would demand a story . . . unless she's feeling vixenish, in which case she'd demand something else! [img:1e523af268]http://www.theunholytrinity.org/cracks_smileys/otn/wink/1newwink.gif[/img:1e523af268]

Its actually not raining here in Dublin. Very sunny evening its turning out to be, which is just as well, as I've to play soccer tonight!

Friskylez, the topic is pretty much whatever people want to talk about in the daily thread. GI tales from Korea are A-OK.

As for Willow and Tara on a rainy day...maybe they..well, they could...it's a great opportunity to catch up on...oh heck, who am I kidding. Bed. Smoochies. Etc.

I think Willowhand would have the upperhand on their rainy-day agenda. And Tara would happily comply with all of Willow's requests.

First, the rain would put Willow in a contemplative mood, stirring her internal muse. And she would proceed to write love poems. To Tara. On Tara. Each poem dedicated to the the particular area on Tara's body on which it was written.

Then Willow would remember the digital camera she received for Hanukkah and another muse would begin to stir. And Willow would begin to pose Tara's body of poems and she would take picture after picture after picture, each new pose suggesting an infinite number of intriguing variations.

Of course Willow would have to continually download her photographs to her laptop where she would arrange them into her own very private gallery - a place where she could hold private [i:3c56e08019] exhibitions[/i:3c56e08019].

But being a computer geek to the core, Willow would have DSL internet access in which she is always on-line. Which means that if there should be someone, perhaps a kitten for example, with a talent for hacking into other people's computers, Willow's gallery wouldn't necessarily remain private. Hmmmm. Now I have my own rainy day activity.

Willow and Tara would snuggle in bed or on the couch, telling each other stories or watching the rain fall.

hope it clears up today, really want to go to the beach and relax (too much drinking this weekend)

Well, obvious things aside...

Hm. Well, from my perspective as a city girl who leaves the apartemnt only when required--or to go to other indoor places like movies and museums--I don't think the rain should change anyone's plans. But Willow, Tara, and most people proabably enjoy going outside. But who knows.

BTW, I really liked that whole complicated suggestion with the poems and the pictures. Very imaginative and cool.

Willow would be either on here computer or practicing Magic with Tara.

Tara reading or studying and doing spells with Willow.

Gorgeous day in the good old Midlands as well!

Oh, no, wait it's starting to rain. Oh well, that's our summer gone then.

I love the rain. Especially when it's torrential and you get soaked to the skin just by stepping outside.

Fantastic.

So I'm gonna pretend Willow and Tara are like me, cos, y'know it gives me a happy.

I think they'd run outside and jump in all the puddles, splashing each other and getting drenched.

Of course there'd also be the obligatory kissing in the rain interlude.

Then they could go back inside and warm each other up. :)

It's not only a first for the CAL softball team but it is a first for any Cal women's team.

Hey xita: Alright Bears! My mom's an "Old Blue," whereas I'm an Old Aggie (as in UCDavis). Bears have always been my Div. 1 team(s).

As for rainy day activities, I think that w/ the rain coming down, so would our grrlz. Going and coming . . . ;)

GG [i:d363a9f121] My mom has a standing promise to take me to the Rose Bowl should the Bears ever play there. Unfortunately, in my entire life, she has never had to make good on it![/i:d363a9f121] Out

It's absolutely pouring here in Sydney, and it's nowhere near summer :(

If Willow and Tara were in Sydney they could visit Adyar books for spell books (for Tara) and meditation books (for Willow). They could take a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House (and sneak away into one of the sails for some Willowhand). They could have lunch in Chinatown (the cheap option) or dine at Level 41 and view the city in the rain. They could then return to their glamorous honeymoon suite in a wonderful 5 star hotel and look at Sydney Harbour in the rain.....

Me, I'm stuck at work, watching the rain slide down my window....
