I also wanted to pass on my well wishes.
I know this was hard. (Hell, I had actually write RPG stats for Warren at one point this year.) But we came through, and in many ways we are much better off for it.
The Kittens have a lot we can be proud of.
We raised awareness of an ugly issue.
We kept on the press, and now a year later we stand here knowing we were right.
We raised money for a wonderful cause, not an ad in Variety or for a gift for people that make millions.
And we stayed together. Sure we didn't always agree with each other.
We did this.
We survived.
But I really feel a special thanks goes to xita.
She did hold this place together through something that would have destroyed nearly every other board.
So my hat (that cute little one my son wears) is off to you xita.
Not to mention all the regulars here and the lurkers that made this a place I wanted to come back to everyday. (If I start mentioning names I'll forget someone and I don't want anyone to feel left out.)
Today in Chicago the sun is shinning, it is bright and clear.
I feel that the same condition exists on the Kitten board today. It is a brand new day.
Pens is bekoning me, there are so many good fics to read, so many more RPG adventures I can write, the potential is endless.
