The presence of Faith is a nice touch, she really knows how to irk people. Now she's figured out about Willow and Tara, I think she'll start meddling, and Willow will have to get large with the butch.

Rane, the embarrassment was only for a little while, my friends gave me high fives, and my parents were cool about it. the sucky part was that the girl i was with didn't talk to me the rest of camp :(

Like the update,

Gee i'm so sorry that Tara's dad got called away, NOT.

Funny how Faith see's it imediately and how Buffy took somewhat longer.

About those details Rane, let's just say a party, me and my gilrfriend going upstairs and all of a sudden being interupted by 3 of your friends standing on the stairs, No fun believe me.

Kerry- yes, yes you are….

Zero- happy to know you are liking them :)

Molly- I’m not sure Faith will be there long enough to meddle. But it would be fun if she stayed a bit longer now wouldn’t it?

Kath- Unfortunately, I don’t think Harmony is Faith’s type. I've always found Faith extreemely sexual but not bisexual. i've always seen her go for the stick. dont worry though, she wont screw around with Tara and Willow too much. she’s only visiting for the day but we all know how much trouble she can cause in a minute….

Grimaldi- well, high five from me to you too then for getting away with it but a huge hug for the girl not speaking to you for the rest of camp. Did you ever talk to her again?

Tarebearrs- parties like that are hilarious for those not involved of course. Hehe… Buffy’s more into herself in this fic, a lot. Faith was just bored and noticed.

Missquirky- glad you caught up and like it. it was a crazy thing that I started to type one day and then the next thing I new I’d written 29 pages of it within a couple of hours. It’s such a silly fic, I guess I needed to go into silly and re-meeting when we were in the process of the breakup.

As for updates, I’m not sure how I’ll handle the next couple of ones. I want to finish this part already so I can get on to the next part and finish the fic itself. I’m getting tired of mini updates and such. I want to get it out already and I’m afraid once I get a second job I really, really will not have time. So I’m going to be a while writing. Maybe I’ll have more this weekend. Depends on how fast I write.

Thanks for staying with me so far though! I really, really love you kittens!

Rane, I just love catching up on fics specially when they're written by you. I really enjoyed that last update, you've really captured Faith in all her leather clad glory. I'm looking forward to reading what comments she'll make that will surely bring redness to more than one cheek.

Now Rane, you really are an evil woman. I leave to go to Vegas on holiday and come back to a whole host of updates! Makes me feel like a bloody slacker :P But I must admit, well worth catching up with. Every time I read Tara in pain or just scared, it gets me in the pit of my stomach. Every time. Makes me all protective and sad for her at the same time.

As someone else said, You ROCK! :D

Love ya,

Toni

Finally caught up completely now.

Fantastic! It just keeps getting better. Can't wait for more.

I am wondering who's going to win the trip to the movie theatre...

Tara's Father finally being introduced; I love you're juxtoposition of Family and Who Are You. If you carry that through, I sense angst is coming? I feel sure he'll get whats coming to him though. (hoping so anyway :)

Nika!- como estas amor! Where have you been?!!!! Hehe, as for faith I’m not sure yet whether to skip ahead or not. Glad you caught up chica!~

R- laughing now is good. I cant even begin to tell you all the crap that happened to me that I can laugh about now. Hehe

Toni- I decided that as a present for going of to vegas and not inviting me for the weekend or even stopping by LA to visit me that I’d give you a couple of updates. See how sweet I am? LOL. I love ya! I get all protective and sad about tara too, imagine how overprotected we are and we’re not even her creators. Of course if we had been the ME writers we would have written a much, much better season six. Agh, let’s not even get into that. talk to you later!

Ras- hehe angst? Me? Never. I’m in a non angst mood. I just want a good all around fun romp at camp with lots of tara and willow snugglies and smoochies and just lot’s of willow and tara. Ok, I’m lying like a joss. There will be a teeny bit of angst but not too much. Hehehe

Scully- that title… hehe… people keep referring to the flute scene in american pie and yes, maybe subconsiously I was thinking about it but I really just used it cause of their first school principal. Camp Snyder didn’t have the same ring to it for me.

Ellie- I know you were off performing and pubbing around in scotland. No worries my darling, you had all this flutie to come back too! I have british family and friends and I’m sure if they read that description about opera I’m sure they’d agree. Hehe, just kidding.

We had no IDEA that LA was so close. One little idiot who was one of the valets swore up and down that LA was a two hour drive! Good thing that DarkWiccan had called me just before we were about to attempt it :shock So we didn't diss ya on purpose, sweets. And you really are a Gutte Neshome for my update present whilst we were on holiday. We may head back thatta way. Who knows. ;)

Much love,

T.

update finally...

Postby Rane018 » Tue Sep 17, 2002 8:53 am

Hello my fellow kittens. :D I've been terrible at updating this and i apologize but here's a lil bit for you today.

Last we left off: Tara's father came to visit Camp Flutie for Visitors Day as did Faith and Giles.

*******************

Willow stared over at Buffy with a distressed look on her face. This was the last thing she needed. She wasn’t ready to be outed to him. Not yet. Mr. Stiff Upper Lippy who was like a father to her, more than her own father. Giles pretty much saw her everyday. He talked to her, listened to her. Giles! Faith said that in front of Giles!

“I think she broke him.” The redhead quietly suggested.

Buffy just chuckled softly and turned towards her watcher again. “Giles? Giles?”

“Does this happen a lot?” Tara asked looking at the two women who were hunched down on the floor.

She’d never seen a grown man faint. She never wanted to again either. It was… disturbing. She could not imagine her father fainting, she’d only seen him cry once and it wasn’t even at her mother’s funeral. He had cried the day the doctors told them there was nothing they could do to save her, when they told them that she would die. By the time her mother finally did he’d changed, he was stone cold, empty, never to be the same again.

Faith didn’t seem a bit concerned to the fact her Watcher was out like a light, she was busy spending her time browsing at all the horsie equipment Tara had on display for her visitors orientation. “He usually gets knocked unconscious.” She offered as her hands stroked the leather of one of the western saddles. “Fainting is so girly. You should meet Wes. He’s a pansied fearie if ever there was. Screams like a girl.”

Tara did not know who that was, “Wes?”

“Another watcher, long story.” Buffy mentioned in between her fanning of Giles’ face with her hand.

“Giles got fired and a new Watcher was brought in.” Faith shrugged her shoulders at the disclosure.

“Apparently not that long.” Buffy rolled her eyes at the absolute accuracy of that simple statement.

“Mr. Giles got fired?”

“This is wicked cool.” Faith held up a black leather riding crop and tie down. “How many times have you two played with these? I’m sure blondie here’s been teaching you-”

“FAITH!” Willow yelled as she looked over at the Slayer. She was ready to walk on over and defend her lover’s honor when Tara’s soft hand reached out for hers and held her back.

“Will…” the blushing blonde began but was interrupted by soft groans coming from a stirring Giles.

“Bloody hell.” He mumbled as he tried sitting up. Realizing he’d need some assistance Buffy helped him stand. “How’d that happen?” He asked as she dusted himself off, noticing the clasped hands of the redhead and blonde witch. “Oh.” He nodded as the realization of what happened processed. “Willow, I’m terribly sorry. That must have seemed…” He didn’t even know where to start.

“Giles? Are you mad at me?” she asked him, all the dread at rejection clearly etched in her tiny voice.

He couldn’t help but offer a loving smile at the fearful redhead. “No, Willow, if I were mad at you I would be doing that clucking sound with my tongue you told Buffy I do.”

“I never- Ok, I did.” She acquiesced. It’s true, she had told Buffy that once.

His eyes connected with Tara’s but before he could say anything she shyly half smiled at him, leaving him at a loss for words. It should have been obvious the way Willow talked about Tara during their phone conversations that there was something more than just the witchcraft connection between the two. Now he could pinpoint exactly what it was. “Tara-“

She bashfully shook her head in dismissal and edged closer to Willow, as if gathering strength from her. The redhead reached out her free hand and held their clasped hands tighter.

“I don’t, usually, erm…” he motioned to the floor.

Buffy quickly shook her head, a tiny smile spreading over her lips. “No. Never. You’re probably just hungry. I’m hungry.” She turned to Faith, “Are you hungry?”

Faith smirked, “I’m always hungry.”

“Ok, then, let’s get cracking. Lunch starts in a few minutes.” Buffy shooed the gathered with her free hand.

Faith quickly raised an eyebrow and the whip she was still holding, “Can I keep this?”

“NO!” everyone yelled.

*******************

Yay an update!

I'm so glad Giles was apologetic at his little fainting spell, and was quick to alleviate Willow's concerns that he might be mad at her.

Heh, Faith wanting the riding whip. Why was I not surprised by that?

Oh and update an update *excited jumping about* that was so funny. Poor Giles always getting knocked unconcious or fainting :grin And that was cool and the whip. There HAS to be a story behind that, Tara did blush after all.

Thanks for the upadet Rane, Camp Flutie is such a wonderful story and it is so great to read about Willow and Tara so obviously in love.

How wonderful to have an update. I did have to go back and read the last one, mostly because my mind isn't as sharp as it used to be.

I love the fiesty Faith. Her fascination with the tack made me giggle. Riding crop huh! Very funny. This is such a great fic. The tenderness you have expressed between them is exciting. It's such torture when Willow waits and Tara never shows up. I just want to weep.

Fantastic piece of work here. I am getting old so how about an update for my birthday! Huh?
