Well there went the VCR.... well i don't really need all these appliances anyway.....as I do need warm fuzy W/T moments.

Loved this one, as I am much like Will, no getting up early for me (I deevolve through the night, I have to redevelope upright posture and such. I mean I once ate a dog bone thinking it was Bisscotte with my morning coffee, I was so not awake:puke )

Keep the warmth coming each little bit heals me just a little bit more.

Happiness is Willow and Tara... with muffins.*S*

This series is great Sass. Wish I had thought of it! Low maintenance, post when you like, no big parts to get out of the way, no continuity...

Sounds like heaven... and then you go write the good stuff too.

Perfect.

four vignettes later... I finally come up with the presence of mind to come in and interrupt your thread with more of my ridiculous babbling instead of just sitting there staring at my little glowy screen with my mouth hanging wide open in awe.

First of all, let me just say how happy I am that you have decided to write these little moments for us. I don't think that the written word can express how giddy this all makes me. It's truly impressive to have me tittering like a little schoolgirl, as I ordinarily sound an awful lot like ben stein. But you... You give me inflection. neato.

These are just so lovely. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy. The First Kiss.... that has to be one of the bestest most tingly feeling things in the world, and you capture it so very nicely. Very in the moment, just like all of these. and in the first one, and this last, they're so very loving towards one another... irresistable.

Oh! And I love the way you were able to work in that AD bit. So cute! Right. shutting up now, shortly.

I'm more smitten than ever, Sass. Looking forward to whatever else you come up with. Thank you. :)

How did I miss this thread??? Sassette you are amazing!!!! :grin

I love these vignettes! :love The last two espeically when Tara and Willow are young and in the future with them living together. It's great to see how that connection seems to just last forever. They are so sweet!! You write them perfectly.

Since the events of this season I have now happily decided to set up camp in this tread (with regular trips to Final Exam...).

Please keep going on love this! :bounce :bounce

Re: Vignette Series Part Four

Postby Sassette » Wed May 15, 2002 11:24 am

**jdcioffi: Thank you *G* I'm all about spreading smiles and sunshine ... though vignette #5 will likely have to wait until after the AD epilogue - I kinda' want to get that finished off.

**mollyig: They're harmonious types *G* But really, on top of their love for one another, I see them as having a deep and abiding mutual respect - especially after the events of early season 6. Hard lesson to learn, really painful way to do it, but important.

**TX: Do you mean taking a coat out to Tara in the garden, or having a vignette waiting for you early in the morning? ;)

**Grimaldi: I'm glad to hear your keyboard survived *G* Should I put a warning up next time? And thank you.

**wizpup: Thank you *G* I'm a happy little writer when I have happy little kittens reading my happy little vignettes.

**Autumn: I can always count on you to find the hidden food-moral-to-the-story. Tara does, indeed, have the best muffins. And you're welcome - a happy future for our girls is a must.

**Karzia: *G* Sorry about the appliances - but y'know? W/T warm and fuzziness is >so< worth it ;) And yeah, I really don't do mornings, either. I love all y'all, too, and I'll keep writing these little vignettes as long as I can think them up.

**Katharyn: And you have uncovered my evil plot. Well, not that it was all that hidden, because I think I mentioned that was the point to writing this series - but yes, no continuity, no big parts, low maintenance ... God, but I'm brilliant sometimes ;) Seriously, though, I have some other things I want to work on, and I knew I wouldn't be able to dedicate myself to another long involved story like I was able to with AD, but I wanted to keep posting W/T goodness, because we all need that so much right now - and this vignette thing just occurred to me.

**Owl: You can interrupt my thread with ridiculous babblings as often as you wish - I like it *G* And thank you very much - I'm glad you like these little bits.

**Puff: Awww, shucks, Puff *G* Thank you and thank you.

**oneinten: Heh ... I think it's VERY easy to miss threads on this board - so much good fic, so little time. And thank you ... grab a nice spot under a tree, roll out your sleeping bag, and enjoy.

**willowphile410: You're very welcome - I'm really glad you liked it *G*

Sassette, another wonderful glimpse of W&T, but this time in the future. I love how settled W&T are in this part with each having their own routines (ie Willow not an early riser and Tara loving the mornings to tend to her garden). It was so sweet how Willow watched Tara from the window, and realized she had an excuse to interrupt by bringing a jacket "to ward off sniffles and other not so good things". Loved the whole Willow playing the "hero" with the jacket and rescuing Tara the "damsel" it was cute imagery. And even though Willow loves Tara's muffins, who could resist Tara's smoochies! Looking forward to getting another glimpse of W&T's life in the next update.

Sassette, you rocketh muchly, as always.

Love the vignettes, these delightful smidgens of W/T goodness, and when I start to miss your masterful plot-weaving, I'll re-read AD.

What broke Willows knee? If it was something this season, I was on my way home from work when it happened. *confused*

Willow sighed against Tara’s mouth, as Tara kissed her slowly and thoroughly, giving her the sweetest smoochie-payment for daring rescues and miscellaneous heroic services in the history of good guys rescuing fair damsels in distress.

Did that remind anyone else of A Princess Bride?

Once again, I loved this! :)

Ah yes. Muffins. Mmmm. I bet Tara's muffins are all soft and melty-in-the-mouth and...

No. Stop that. Bad.

You know what I loved most about this? The song that Tara was singing that Willow couldn't quite name. That was just a perfect little detail that made the scenario so very real for me.

Amazing, Sass. Simply amazing. Recently finished reading AD and now what you've posted for the Vignette Series.. man, oh man....I'm sitting at work, staring into the computer reading your fics..saddened after what we've experienced with Tara...ut you know what, whether she returns or not...you've brought a slow smile to form upon my face, my heart feeling a little lighter at the simple love and joy Willow and Tara share in your writings. Thank You....
