Linda, as C, has said, I am off to Italy some time, for some time; I am planning on updating from there, yes. Hence, part of the search for a laptop, right pronto. And, though I’m not 100% sure this is what you said, I will say to you: I also hope that I have a pleasant time in Italy. I do deserve it. I will try to have fun and, of course I will stay in touch. No goodbyes though. Was that close? Huh, was it??? And, oh, yeah, I’ve heard about all those monsoons and stuff in Italy, I’ll be careful. . . .LOL! As for the CD release, I’ve been totally out of it; didn’t even know there was a party or anything. I would’ve tried to go & check it out. Oh well.



And, yes, done lots of writing, but you know me well enuf by now to know, that I like near ‘perfection,’ so nothing will go up until I think it’s good enuf. Is that punishment good enough for you & Linda????

C…my dear, so sorry, how very rude of me to not give you the weather report. Well, it's a comfy 72 degrees, a little overcast, looks like perhaps a sprinkle or two, maybe even drizzle. And let me tell you…this rare for September in So. Cal. We're usually baking our butts off in dreadful heat at point. Linda, I am kinda bummed about the postponement. I made all of my arrangements and was starting to get kinda excited, rather than nervous. . . . They had to hire 2 new accounting people to try to help sort out why the office isn’t running smooth; I was like, “Cause it should trickle up, not down!” Anyway, here’s hopin’ things lighten up for me. . . .

Linda, I am a 2nd Asst Acct currently working for Paramount Pictures. Normally, accounting doesn't even get a t-shirt, but if there is location shooting, usually someone from the 1st Unit goes there to make sure stuff gets done. my number came up, I guess, and off to Italy I go. Hard life huh? All I can say is, it sure beats working overnights at Wal-Mart(which is what I did for almost a year). Yipes! What accting do you do?

Well, I worked for a law firm in Pasadena for about 15-1/2 years. I handled A/R, A/P and the trust account. Then, I decided it was time to move on, it became tedious and kinda dull. So, I went from Pasadena to E.L.A. (real bright, huh?), a plastics manufacturing company, a field I knew nothing about, but hey, it presented a challange and something new to try. So now, I do much of the same*smacks self upside the head*, but in addition, human resources. The cool part is their bookkeepper, who's like 100 years old (bless her heart), will be retiring soon and that will leave little ol' me to run the office. Mwahahahaha! My favorite perk is that I can wear my Levi's and sneakers , it's a huge contrast to the stuffy lawfirm.
