Lola - Glad to see the heat of the last update was able to take away the feeling from your legs, not the easyist thing to walk after reading something like that.
Puff - Glad you liked the vixen ways of our girls.

They really are just a couple of healthy active teenage girls.
Xita - Well what good are tinted windows if you're not gonna use them for their intended purposes.
Okay finally after a huge delay due to RL, not bad though, and a nasty case of writers block, i've finally managed to get the next part done. It is a little shorter than the others but not much though, still some 3.500 words so should give ya some good reading. This is where it starts to get a little angsty as the end of the fic draws near, so please stick with it as there is only a few more update to go. there is kinda a cliffhanger at the end here so be warned, though i don't think its anything major though, but it might be, i'm just pretty worn out from a hectic weekend at the moment and just preying this update doesn't completely suck

Anyway enough of my babbling and without much further ado, here's the update....

Part 22 ta da… okay so I’m running out of things to put here.Tara groaned as she rolled over in her bed, eyes still closed as she mumbled out to her lover who was up and about getting ready for school.
“Will come back to bed.” Tara groaned as she continued to toss and turn on her large but empty mattress.
“Tar, we have school, you know we go learn things and it’s fun.” Willow responded happily as she thought about some of her favourite schooling moments. Tara finally managed to open her eyes and stared oddly at her girlfriend, eyebrows perched up quizzically towards Willow.
“Will, it’s SAT week, we don’t have to go, besides we can have fun and learn things here.” Tara was slyly ginning that evil grin that Willow knew oh to well by now.
“And what exactly would you be teaching me today Miss Maclay?” Willow asked, her curiosity piqued.
“Well I believe today’s lesson is the human body, I’ll even lend you my body for some experiments.” Tara replied as she pulled back the covers to reveal a very naked and firm body. Willow gulped and dropped her backpack before diving onto the bed.
“I hope there’s an oral exam.” Willow smiled as she lay next to her lover, running her hands up her body.
“Always.” Tara replied as she leant in and softly planted a kiss on Willow’s lips.

The eight of them had found a rather nice day to skip school and go to the beach. The sun was shining down as they sat in a crowded clutter on the sand. Angel was laying back, sunbathing while Buffy was snuggled up next to him, Cordelia and Donnie were sat facing each other, quietly sucking face, Anya and Xander were quietly squabbling over something trivial and Willow was laying back on her towel, resting on her elbows. Her legs were open just wide enough for Tara to lay between them, resting her head just above the redhead’s belly.
“How come you don’t have class?” Tara queried over towards Angel.
“What and miss a chance to sunbathe at the beach with my gal, the only thing more beautiful than the sun is sunbathing with your gal.” Angel replied smiling at Tara then back to Buffy who was grinning widely. Tara smiled back at him then up to Willow who was engaged in a novel that she had brought with her. She did tend to agree with him there, it was hard to compete against sunbathing with your girl.
……………
Tara and Willow walked hand in hand through the art museum looking at various paintings and sculptures. Tara had indicated to Willow that it was something that she’d love to do and Willow being the good girlfriend she is, was only too happy to comply. Willow made several amusing comments as they walked past some of the naked pictures and Tara had to stifle her laughter to prevent drawing attention to herself and the redhead.
They walked around the museum for a couple of hours before deciding to break for lunch. They walked up to a kiosk and a hotdog and coke each. They also brought a packet of crisps to share as they sat down to enjoy their lunch.
“So having fun on your day off?” Tara inquired across the table to the redhead. Willow smiled and nodded back to her girlfriend.
“Lots of, thanks to you.” Willow looked at the sunglasses that sat across Tara’s face. Willow was disappointed that they covered up Tara’s oh so beautiful eyes but at the same time was well aware of the damage that the sun could cause on a day such as today. She herself had a pair perched in her hair, resting nicely atop her head. Tara noted the intense stare and moved her sunnies into a similar position as those that Willow wore so she could see a lot clearer into the green pools before her.
“So what’s been the best part so far?” Tara asked inquisitively as she raised an eyebrow waiting for Willow’s response.
“Well there was the beach, which was fun, nice and relaxing.” Willow smiled and took a bite from her hotdog. “Then we marched through the museum making fun of the funny little people in the drawings.” This time she smirked an evil grin and Tara blushed as the thought of some of the words Willow had run through her mind at the museum ran through her mind. “But I’d say the best by far would have to be waking up next to you.” Willow softened in her approach this time, putting all her heart and feeling into her words and received a happy sigh from Tara in response.
“That was really your best part of the day?” Tara asked as if she needed confirmation.
“It will be until I snuggle up to go to sleep with you tonight.” Willow replied sweetly and honestly as she got another content sigh from her love-stuck lover.
“Why are you so good to me?” Tara asked as if there needed to be a reason.
“Because it’s a total impossibility to be anything but, you ooze goodness, you make people want to be better people and that is your most amazing quality.” Willow replied with the same heartfelt emotion of her previous words. Tara was near tears of joy as Willow’s words began to sink in and she could feel the love that was radiating in the air around them.
“That’s the nicest thing anybody has ever said to me.” Tara responded, choking back her tears so not to make a scene out of what was their special moment.
“Well it shouldn’t be, you should be serenaded with beautiful words all of the time.”
“Damn you.” Was all Tara could reply as she reached over the table and pulled Willow into a passionate embrace, this time she couldn’t care less if their actions caused a scene or not.

Giles wondered about the hallways of Sunnydale High, he was enjoying some rather free time as his whole senior class had decided to take a deserved break. He sighed happily as he went about his business, making sure that none of the younger hooligans were running around the corridors when they shouldn’t be.
He walked into the staff room, which was unusually packed for this time of day with other teachers enjoying the same sort of freedom that Giles himself was experiencing. He merrily made his way over to check out his pigeonhole and was surprised to see a letter awaiting his arrival there.
Giles removed the letter from the hole in the wall and proceeded to open the envelope, noticing the Oxford University stamp on the front of it. He pulled out the letter and read each letter carefully and twice over to make sure what he was reading was right. A slight grin appeared on his face after reading through it once. He’d be sure to read it again and again during the afternoon to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.
……………
Willow and Tara sat on a bench in front of a pond in the Sunnydale park, feeding pieces of bread to the ducks that wallowed around the water. They giggled at the little fights that broke out between the ducks as they threw pieces of bread right into the middle of them, causing them to squabble uncontrollably. They were sure though to give all the ducks some as they would’ve felt bad had one duck gone without.
Buffy and Angel walked up behind them very quietly, getting ready for a sneak attack on the unsuspecting couple feeding the ducks. Willow and Tara shared a smile that went unnoticed to the approaching duo and just as Angel and Buffy got close to them, ready to pounce, Willow and Tara turned around screaming, scaring the stuffing out of their would be terrifiers.
“He he,” Willow laughed at the look of the completely surprised couple now sitting on their backsides behind the park bench. “The look on your face is priceless Buffy, all with the shock and horror.” Willow continued to giggle as she mocked her best friend playfully.
“How?” was all Buffy could stammer out as she tried to get out of her surprised state she was in thanks to the redhead and her girlfriend.
“You two make so much noise, thank god you two don’t track things down for a living. Your stealthiness skill is rather lacking and you’d be dead before you knew it.” Willow giggled once again at her best friend.
“Yeah yeah, why would I wanna be some brooding detective anyway?” Angel queried as his self-defence.
“Well I agree, you’re much too quirky for that.” Tara agreed with a simple nod of her head as affirmation, Angel smiled at the blonde, thankful for her support. With that Cordelia and Donnie showed up holding hands to join the crew.
“What’s up?” Donnie asked as he approached the group gathering around the park bench.
“Nothing much, just feeding the poor little ducks.” Tara replied to her brother. Donnie just nodded his head and found a space on the park bench for himself. Cordelia found a place on his lap straight away and Donnie let out a “oomph” as Cordelia’s weight settled on him, she playfully slapped his shoulder and he let out a grin to let her know he was just playing around.
“I’m sure your poor helpless ducks, get fed by every second person who walks by this pond, making them stuffed happy ducks.” Cordelia nicely pointed out to her friend once she was comfortable on Donnie’s lap.
“That’s so you can fatten them up, ready for a good ol’ fashioned roast duck right?” Anya asked as her and Xander joined the growing community based around the small pond. Everyone one turned to her with a horrified look on their face, the mere thought of harming one of the poor defenceless creatures was bad enough. Anya giggled at the look on everyone’s face.
“You guys are just so easy.” She voiced her reason for her little giggle-fest. She was shortly joined in a spate of giggles by Tara and Cordelia who were more than used to Anya’s quirks by now, however the others were still adjusting to them and struggled at the thought of harming the poor ducks still. Tara noticed the concerned look in her girlfriend’s eye and moved to calm her down.
“She’s just kidding sweetie, she was just trying to get a reaction, right?” Tara turned her reassuring voice towards Anya, seeking confirmation.
“Of course, and your reaction Willow, just priceless.” Anya confirmed Tara’s suspicion, however the redhead still appeared a little upset.
“I know just, poor defenceless ducks, just kinda reminds me of poor Daffy Duck getting picked on by Bugs Bunny.” Willow’s frown slowly turned into a grin as she slowly looked up to see the reaction on Anya’s face at the mention of her arch-nemesis. Anya’s face was indeed one of shock and she couldn’t believe Willow had the nerve to mention the evil fiend of a rabbit name, not to mention she played off Anya’s feelings trying to make her feel bad about her cooking the ducks comment.
Everyone else however found the whole situation rather amusing as Willow had bested Anya at her own game. Anya secretly swore to herself that payback was on the card’s for the sly redhead. A rivalry she rather looked forward too indeed.
They sat around talking amongst themselves for a while longer, whilst they continued to feed out small pieces of bread to the gathering horse of ducks until finally the bread bag that Willow and Tara had brought with them was empty. Xander, Angel and Buffy had been talking about some of the local sporting results, Buffy’s knowledge had surprised Angel slightly but Xander knew better that Buffy was probably the biggest sports junkie between the lot of ‘em. Her love of competition often drove the others crazy. Anya and Cordelia were harping on about Willow’s continued lack of fashion sense and Tara continued slip since dating the redhead. An all day shopping fest was on the cards once again and it made Willow shudder at the thought of caffeine overload that would be sure to some with it. Tara smiled at the thought, she knew she and Willow might be able to slip of and sneak back into Victoria’s Secret, it’d been a few months since they’d last ventured into the store and the memories of it all brought about a glow to her cheeks.
“There is absolutely nothing wrong with pictures of little puppy dogs playing with balls of wool on your jumper.” Willow replied strongly to one of Cordelia’s criticisms.
“Well shouldn’t it at least be a kitten, I didn’t think puppies played with wool.” Cordelia stated mater of factly, shrugging her shoulders.
“They do, and it’s cute, I feel sorry for you if you’ve not seen it before.” Willow replied stubbornly as she snubbed her head in the opposite direction of the cheerleader.
“Should be skinned and turned into a fur tuxedo.” Cordelia said quietly under her breath but not quite quiet enough to avoid the ears of the redhead. Willow flung around with her mouth wide open and saw Cordelia walking with a sly grin across her face. Anya and Cordelia were trying hard to contain the giggles they felt brewing inside them.
“I’m telling you, the Angels are a sure thing this year.” Buffy stated to her boyfriend, arguing the finer points of the baseball season that was recently under way.
“What no way, the dodgers will kick ass, we are so World Series bound.” Angel replied, putting his team’s case forward.
“You’re both kidding me, the giants will be going all the way this year, they are gonna set the world on fire.” It was Xander’s turn to put his team’s case to the plate so to speak, as he protested the claims of his other two friends.
Tara heard the squabbling going on between her and turned around to voice her opinion of it all.
“Go Yankees.” Tara said with a grin widening across her face at the look of disbelief on her other three friends. By this time they had all stopped and Willow, Anya and Cordelia had turned around to watch how this conversation went.
“You go for the Yankees, you know they’re from New York right?” Buffy asked, making sure Tara understood exactly what it was she was saying.
“I did live there remember?” Tara replied as if it was something that had slipped the other blonde’s mind.
“Yeah but you’re from here, you can’t go for a New York team, you’re a Californian, you’re supposed to go for a Californian team.” Buffy stated as she tried to shake the shock that still gripped her off.
“Well I never really followed it before I moved there and some friends from there got me into it, doesn’t hurt that we won a few World Series on the way. Beside you go for ‘em too right Will?” Tara turned towards her girlfriend looking for support. Willow wasn’t quite sure what they were talking about but she knew she had to stick up for her girl and promptly nodded her head in defiant agreement. Buffy was shocked once again at her best friend’s betrayal of their home state. Tara grinned at the fact she had Willow’s support and squeezed her hand gently as a thank-you for sticking up for me. Anya not wanting to miss out on a chance to rile somebody up, jumped on the Yankee bandwagon.
“I go for the doodle dandy’s as well.” She smiled smugly at the shocked trio across from them, who couldn’t believe that their state had been forsaken.
“Yeah well Anya and Willow’s votes don’t count as they don’t really know anything about the game.” Xander replied, trying to stick up for the Californian mob. “Donnie is a sporting type so lets ask his opinion on which side he goes for.” Xander added as all eyes turned to the younger boy.
Donnie backed away, trying to keep out of the conversation, “It doesn’t really matter who I go for.” He stated trying not to piss any of them off.
“Come on bro, why don’t you tell ‘em all which side you go for.” Tara replied, already knowing the answer herself. Once again all eyes darted back to him as they awaited his response.
“Mets.” He mumbled under his breath, hardly loud enough for anyone to hear. The three sporting mad trio were shocked that he also supported another New York side.
“I really thought you were smarter than that Donnie, and of all other places, New York.” Angel this time let his disappointment in Donnie’s choice of team show with a shake of his head.
“Well if it make’s up for anything, I’m a 49’ers fan.” Donnie replied.
“Yeah 49’ers rule.” Xander replied happily as he put up his hand for a high five and Donnie happily slapped it in response.
“Pfft, Raider will kick their asses.” Buffy said in a huff, this time with her boyfriends backing. A staring contest ensued between the competing duo’s as if to see which team was better.
“See this is why I don’t follow sports, they tear families apart.” Willow replied as the other four just started walking again, wanting to get away from the embarrassing sight of the ultra competitiveness being flung around between the sports nuts. Tara, Anya and Cordelia all nodded their heads in agreement before they all looked back over at the staring contest that was still going on and all broke out into a set of giggles.
…………….
The eight of them finally made it back towards the rich part of town and noticed a familiar looking car out front of the Rosenberg household. Giles’ car caught everyone’s attention and they all made their way over to investigate. They all made their way through the front door and found Giles sharing a laugh with the Rosenberg’s. They were all seated in the lounge room sipping cups of tea and just generally discussing life as if they were long time friends.
“Ah excellent you’re home Willow, I have some rather fantastic news, and it’s great to see you have all your friends with you.” Giles said as he noticed the group of students enter the lounge room.
“Fantastic news, lets hear it.” Willow replied cautiously not sure exactly what the excellent news could possibly be.
“Seems you lot aren’t the only ones of to college next year, I’ve been offered a spot teaching at Oxford University.” He smiled at the group, holding up his letter as confirmation.
“That’s great Giles, but I still don’t see what this exactly has to do with us, unless you just want congratulations, in which case I’m so happy for you.” Willow replied once again, loosing the uneasiness of the moment just past.
“Well I do kind of have an ulterior motive to being here. You see as part of the deal they’d like me to bring a student of excellent quality over as part of an exchange program with the local college.” Giles replied, hoping that Willow would be able to fill in the blanks.
“Yeah so, how does that fit me in?” Willow had a feeling she knew where this was going and pressed for more details to make sure she was right.
“They’re giving me the chance to offer a fully paid scholarship to a student from our school, Willow you’re my one and only choice on the matter.” He responded, his smile beaming across his face at the greatness of the news.
Willow sat there stunned, a million thoughts running through her head. She’d already had her application from UC Sunnydale approved and the thought of moving to England suddenly ran through her mind. She’d have to leave her family behind, she glanced over to where her mother and father were seated, obviously delighted at the news themselves. She’d have to leave her friends behind; she turned around and caught eyes with Buffy and Xander and saw their stunned looks on their faces. The news was obviously as much of a shock to them as it was for her. She’d have to leave her girlfriend behind. Her thoughts suddenly turned to the love of her life, she noticed the touch of her skin as it suddenly struck her that they were holding hands. The feeling had become second nature to her so much that their hands just naturally entwined when they were together. She quickly turned her head to gauge her girlfriend’s response, worry etched all over her own face. She looked deep into the ocean blue pools in front of her. Tara offered a reassuring smile, though the shock of the announcement quite evident in her face. Tara was trying hard to show her support for her girlfriend, it was hard to smile like this when deep down all she wanted to do was cry.
TBC…
Okay so if the college system doesn't actually work like this, just pretend it does for the stories sake plzzzzzzzzzzz

It's amazing how you can't really think of anything to write until you're serverely hung-over and the last thing you wanna be doing is thinking.

Anyway hopefully the next part should be a little easier to write as it takes of from our nasty little cliffhanger and heads into the prom.

Until next time...
Cheers
