I like how you've built up the conflict between Buffy and Tara. I think Buffy's right but I really don't like seeing them doing this with Willow against Tara's wishes. I'm not sure that Buffy's the right person to be doing this either.

thanks for reading... kathleen

Dawn raised her hand hesitantly before she knocked on the barrier of the bathroom door in a short tap-tap.

“Tara?” She questioned her voice hushed and sounding a little more scared then she had wanted it to. The door remained closed for a moment but soon eased open to reveal a teary eyed Tara trying desperately to compose herself. “Hi.” Dawn gave a little wave.

“I’m sorry.” Tara looked up at the teenager trying to smile but she was just unable to find the energy to do so.

“Are you okay?” She didn’t accept the apology.

“I didn’t handle that well.” Tara admitted shaking her head. “Are you all right?” She added looking into brown eyes for any clue as to what the teenager was feeling.

“I helped them clean up, it’s all back to normal. Giles is just finishing up to put the books in his car.” Dawn held blue eyes.

“Willow?” The blonde enquired after her girlfriend.

“She’s still outside.” Dawn confirmed having checked several times during the procedure.

“Did she doze off?” Tara asked hopefully.

“I told her you got busy helping Buffy with something but you’d be back soon.” Dawn shook her head. “She’s reading.”

“Oh.” Tara nodded grateful for the teenager’s cover. “Thank you.” She conveyed her gratefulness.

“Are you okay?” Dawn checked on her other big worry in all this.

“I...” Tara began about to assure the teenager she was but she stopped and shook her head. “No.” She replied more honestly.

“Was the spell not a good one?” Dawn tried to piece together what she’d heard.

“I don’t know.” Tara admitted. “But I... I had a dream.” She confided in the teenager.

“What kinda dream?” Dawn quickly picked up on it.

“About the spell.” Tara was relieved to just tell someone. This is what she had planned on doing with Mr. Giles or Madalene when she had got up. She had been waiting for a quiet moment but when she’d awoke there had been a lovely breakfast and then a plan for sun bathing in the garden with Willow. All had been important to the redhead and her needs were paramount.

“What spell? The spell they...” She stopped herself and then made a small noise of understanding. “Was it a nightmare?” The question made Tara nod wordlessly.

“The room was exactly as they had it the markings the same.” Tara shivered at the vision. Dawn stayed silently to let her continue explaining. “The spell started, but...” The blonde’s voice trailed off and she shivered again.

“But?” Dawn pushed feeling her warm sun kissed skin rise into goosebumps.

“We can’t do it Dawn, not yet. Willow can’t be around anything magical, not affecting her, not even near her.” Tara settled on the words as her mind was flooded with images of her beloved working under the magical influence of darkness.

“Then how will you get into her head to fix the holes?” Dawn moved closer.

“I don’t know.” A tight hard sob broke from the blonde’s throat and she looked up at the teenager for support of some kind, any kind.

“We’ll figure it out.” Dawn reached out and hugged Tara. “We’ll figure out a way without any magic.”

“I just wish I knew how.” Tara whispered hugging the teenager back.

grr..argh....I hate short updates, but I guess its better then no update at all.

Tara nodded in agreement "She has magic fingers." Then, as though the words had just echoed back to her and sounded not at all right, she perked up and glanced around at the others. "On the keyboard."

Very nice. I am trying to imagine all the ways this could play out (and knowing you two, maybe we'll see them all!), but mostly in this update, I was thinking about Willow, sitting outside and reading and perhaps unaware that tension is building around her, that the people she loves the most are heading for a rift. How will that affect her? Anything that asked her to question EITHER Tara's or Buffy's devotion to her at this point would be so destructive. I really feel for her.

Dawn and Tara have such a strong relationship I think it is very telling that Tara was able to tell Dawn about the nightmare. As for there being a non-magic way I am sure there is, I am also sure that Tara plays a huge part in the way.

Have to agree with what Tulipp said as well, poor Willow it will hurt her a lot to know Tara and Buffy are fighting.

Oh, I'm glad that Tara finally told someone about the dream she had. But I don't think that's going to help patch things up with Buffy any time soon, especially with what Buffy looks like she's planning with Mads.

Great updates! :)

At this point in the episode I would be screaming at the tv "Why don't you just tell Buffy and the others? Then none of this would be so bad!". Instead I'm screaming at the computer. I hate this point in shows (and I do view this as a show, without pics), where you see the obvious path for things to be ok, but y'know the characters have to take the harder, more misunderstandingy way for there to be a, well...show.

I think it's pretty funny, though, Buffy wanting to do something potentially dangerous to bring Will back from her "holey state", and Tara being against it. Brings to mine Bargaining. Except Buffy's being a bit reckless out of love for her friend instead of Will this time.

Can't wait for the next update! Awesome work, guys!

Re: Scene 6....

Postby Scout » Tue Aug 06, 2002 2:40 am

Yeah, Tara needs to tell the others. The dream was so dead-on close to the actual spell that they'd see why she was so worried.

And I understand that Buffy has been there from the beginning, so her feelings are important and valid, but I don't like her contemplating going against Tara's wishes. Tara is Willow's partner, regardless of the fact that she's been gone awhile. Tara's opinion is right behind Willow's in importance. Maybe it's time Buffy handed over responsibility for Willow's well-being to Tara.

Re: Scene 6...

Postby VampNo12 » Tue Aug 06, 2002 3:52 am

Excellent updates guys! I now understand how "Alienation" comes into play, with the gang divided over what is in the best interest of healing Willow (ie Tara fearing her dream is prophetic with the magick doing more harm than good, and the rest of the gang not understanding Tara's reactions to the spell). Buffy and Mads in a way are similar (as Dawn pointed out in a previous scene) so I can see them bonding, but going behind Tara's back with the intention of using the spell on Willow, spells disaster to me. I also agree with Tulipp's opinion that a rift between the gang at this stage (with Willow in the middle), will no doubt cause great harm to any progress Willow has made in her "recovery".

Also loved how Tara confided her fears (as well as the dream) to Dawn. These two have a very special bond, and I am glad that Tara allowed herself to lean of someone else, instead of playing the "strong one" by being silent. Now Tara needs to tell the rest of the gang about her fears, and hopefully together they can find a solution that won't alienate the gang further from each other. Can't wait for the next part!

Gee. Like I said before, Tara has only been back a week, and she has already done more to help Willow than the others have. Why can't they accept this? Tara probably knows Willow better than anyone.

Tara: My heart doesn't stutter.

Tara: Willow, I got so lost.
Willow: I found you. I will always find you.

Willow: Hi, um Tara. I was wondering maybe you want to go out some time for coffee? food? Kisses and gay love?

Wow this is really good.

This is a season 7 I could get behind. I would watch this rapt.

There is some storytelling here, and it won't all be hugs and puppies I am sure, but I do know that I am happily on the ride.

I like Mads. She is great. I am hoping she and we get to find out more about her.

Buffy's reactions make so much sense. Sure I believe and trust Tara, but I can see where Buffy is coming from. It is even not beyond the realm of belief that Buffy even 'blames' Tara for what happened. She would never admit it, but it is a comon reaction.

Dawn is always such the Kitten! She would be right at home here.

Your characters have depth. Depth that I did not feel in Season Sux. I am so glad I found this!

Ahhhh.... what did Buffy and Mads do when they touched hands??? **Looks around, all worried** I really hope Buffy does not do what she was thinking about and I'll agree... Tara needs to at least tell them about her dream. I trust what she feels, I think magic would be a very bad thing right now to attempt on Willow.

Hmm.. I still have my suspicions about what would truely help both of our girls, but you already know what I think. I just hope Buffy and Mads don't go off and do something stupid. **Mutters under breath** They can't!! :cry

I liked that you had Dawn comfort Tara at the end there, and sharing her dream with her... I think that was a good thing. At least someone knows now, but... Tara needs to tell the others, before Buffy goes and does something stupid. :(

Thanks for the update, ladies. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat now. Angst from here on out, huh?? Should I be scared?? **Gets ready to cover my eyes with my hands**

Wow, great couple of Updates, Tara and Buffy are on a major collision course here and i dread to think what Tara what do if she found out about Buffy and Madelene's intensions at the moment.

I love your Tara and Dawn interaction, Tara treats Dawn exatcly how she wishes to be treated, as an adult and you can see how much Dawn appreciates it. Tara trying to think of something to say to cover up how she was feeling and then just saying the truth to Dawn was really great. The bond you write here seems second only to that of Willow and Tara and i'm sure Dawn would be just as upset if she knew Buffy was not trusting Tara on this, even if she hadn't been told about the dream.

I've been on the ride from the start and i'll be the last one to get off. Here to the end ladies :)

long long long overdue thank yous...

Postby KathleenWolf » Tue Aug 06, 2002 2:29 pm

okay so i'm criminally insanely behind... but here goes trying to catch up this morning... (alphabetical order)

BigDummy: :lol I totally know what you mean... it was the point the non-writer me was doing the same thing... and you are so true how the tables have turned... Willow brought her back from oblivion, the slayer wants only now to do the same

Chronic: :lol squelching plot... love it!

Darkmagicwillow: alot of big questions in terms of the spell... Tara and Buffy need to work together most of all for Willow's good... thanks for reading

Funkyasian: so glad the first bit of the story made you mushy... :) and hey pessimism is good, it's a hard call... her dream could purely be fear of DMW or fear for what she herself will lose if DMW has to be faced again...as for the solution have to wait and see ;) ... venting is good, and I think the gang are just so worried right now they are having trouble trusting in anything that isn't the easy and quick solution (thanks... always nice when you get somewhere in the job you do so that you can spend the rest of the time you have writing)

Ghostwriter: We tried really hard to focus the anger between Tara and Buffy in the right way as neither of them are mad with each other truely but the situation... glad you enjoyed the scene...

Grimaldi: We were going for very cute in scenes 1&2 so glad you liked them... Tara in her classic way does need to make her reasons/thoughts known to the gang right now in order for them to understand her reasons are based in Willow-love... laugh... the gang do something stupid? :D

Imperfectly Me: :lol ... another Mads and Buffy vote for my list... well she might be gay... you'll have to wait and see who moves on who or if ;)

Jen: Lady Dawn the Mighty is going to be our spinoff series :D just kidding... and yes she will stop the pills one day we're working on it ;) ... and oooo first vote for Mads and Buffy... putting it on my tally sheet... laugh and there was nothing dodgey in the handshake :D yes much angst, but good productive angst with much healing and bright light at the end... :) hang in there, do you want a fluffy rainbow pillow to cover your eyes in? i can tell you when the scary bits are coming ;)

kpmuse: Buffy would understand the dream if she'd been told about it... and you're so right battle lines as such well be drawn over what to do magic or no magic or nothing... but in the end they will all work together... :)

Lastric: oh yes hounds of debt so need to be vanguished... oh and Anya will invest some of it for them, I doubt Buffy could really say no to that kind of help...

LeatherQueen: a happy Dawn and Buffy are a good thing in our books and we definately wanted to hightlight that a little here before the angst started... are we that bad with the angst? :evil oh wait yes we are, angst coming up soon... ;) Tara in a sarong, now that would be worth the budget for filming our S7 I think oh that and to she her standing up to the gang... and I cannot confirm or deny your prediction of Buffy and Mads plan going ahead or not :D

Little Wicca Dude: just have to get yourself in the right mindframe when paying bills... a little imagination never hurt any losing situation :)

Loco2: :laugh ... FHM or Loaded would have been Xander's subsciption, though hey Dawn might still be sneaking a peak!... oh and you mocked the happyiness? the RW can't write happy? oh wait... laugh... angst is coming! and yes Willow's gaydar is attempting to funcion now if she's right or not... lips are sealed.... so there is the crux Steph, Willow's problem is caused by magic, a lackthereof should it not only be cured by magic? :evil RW laugh... mmm Tara happy Buffy's going to do magic on Willow, nope can't see that being something to happen... but as you said Buffy pushing to take this risk to save Willow speaks more volume here then anything else... and yes Dawn can be nice and helpful ;) .. (and thank you doing better today)

MadeinNZ: :lol oh yes bill pay can be fun, especially if you do it naked and get rewards... opps next topic! laugh.. Mads might be gay, no official word from the spellcaster yet and hopefully we can play up the dynamic between her and Buffy either way in a way that continues to please everyone... glad you liked the scene though we so feel there is a need to rebuild Dawn and Willow's bond... mmm no magic, the what you will have to find out soon ;)

Marida: thank you... we try to keep everyone guessing in a good way :)

MissQuirky: Dawn is a total sweetie in our opinion, S6 made her into the typical whiny teenager with no purpose and she's always had purpose... and Tara's memory is opening up slowly but surely, after all how could she forget rounds and funny shaped :) ... Tara could never keep her mouth shut about something so important and the magic/no magic will be a very huge issue... Mads is definately goodhearted, she's just as Dawn summed up lost and alone in a big harsh world...

Mollyig: we don't think that everyone gives Dawn the observational credit she deserves... she lives with all these people in her life and sees their pain... her astutness is something we hope to bring out more to help everyone around her... don't worry about the others too much, without all the information it is hard for them to simply take something on face value they are so much about the facts and the consensus, and trust is definately something they all need to learn again for each other... hopefully we will get them there in time...

Oneinten: yes we are :evil ... ooo another vote for Mads and Buffy... we'll have to see about that one (though I do love your lesbo world as you call it ;) ) so I can't spoil but it isn't something we're against persay, have to see how the future plays out... and for how she gets into Willow's mind you'll just have to wait and see...

Puff: Willow and Dawn have alot to heal and get through... we think that especially after the magic bender car crash you never really see a reason or even an interest in truely reforging their relationship... we on the other hand intend on doing just that... I totally know what your saying about trusting Tara, but we felt with all the mistrust that S6 built up they have to learn to get back to trusting and I promise the rift won't last that long :) ... and you and Tulipp are right, Willow is going to be much more effected by outside tension then anyone is taking in for account right now I think...

Scout: oh yes our Dawn is a huge kitten... and we like the sweet couple moments, we hope to pack as many in when we can... You are very right about Buffy having to deal with the personal change to her role that Tara's return must mean, after all Tara is Willows and vice versa... I think most of all Buffy needs help to see that from Tara herself, and hopefully a little more communication between the two of them can foster that fact...

Singgirl: the happiness isn't gone forever... just for a short time... hang in there! and apparently thickening plots makes a squelching sound, cool eh?

Sparrow: published??? mmm we so wish, we have several orginal stories in progress but we get so wrapped up in our buffy fics that we neglect them... ironic huh :)

Spazz07: Just the beginning very happy, we wanted to show some postive come out of the negative of the first and second eps which were very much about setting the new roads they were all on... ahh so sweet that you want Mads happy :D I do so feel for her too being a character we've stuck into a group with so much history and love that she isn't a part of... now now could we really follow s6 with a happy go lucky s7 and be truthful? there will be happy in places though we promise (and you know we love the cute!)... and yes it would be so scary to see your nightmare set out ready to start, she worked so hard not to just fall apart in that scene... (here till the end? now that is trust :) ) and we love the Tara/Dawn dynamic such trust and mentorship there that indeed if Dawn knew what her big sister was planning she would not be happy atall, but at this point she has alot more information than the others...

TesniStryngefyre: so sweet of you to think we could compete with the real TV thing... thank you... and we like to keep readers hooked, though very gently and we have a catch and release program ;)

Thanatopsis: you so hit the nail on the head... perspective is something they need desperately now... they have been so used to looking at the short term that the big picture is lost to them...

TheRose24: Willow is returning slowly... it's a hard climb when you've been pushed down so far but with everyone around her she will make it to the top... Tara's being there is doing wonders for Willow as well, but we think there might have to be a little more direct blonde Wiccan intervention to get her even closer to tip top again...

Tiggerscorpio: we so hope you can feel the love, it's all about the love... especially it winning over the angst :)

Tiredsoul: thank you for reading... we are trying really hard to have a S7 that deals with the problems of S6 but still goes to a place where we all wanted it to be, supportive and hopeful despite the dark... as for the validity of Tara's dream you'll just have to wait and see :D

Tulipp: :lol Teen Fashion Magazine was our generic attempt at frivolous Teenager Girl fun... we toyed with National Geographic but Willow already has that subscription so ;) The facing off between Tara and Buffy is hard of course, they both want the same thing but they have such different approaches... neither is wrong persay but they need as always to work together not against one another to succeed... yes the title is somewhat explained here (we have one other bit up our sleeve) but you have gotten one of the major bits about it... and no worries bumpy ride but we don't intend on any major rifts lasting long :) ... oooo good point, Willow in all of this is such a major concern, though with her being somewhat removed from the decsion making could they be making a mistake not realizing that any tension effects her? we will have to see :)

Urn of Osiris: :D okay do we need to put you in RW detox? just kidding... old patterns are hard to break and sometimes the best way to break them is with a huge moment where you have no choice but to cling to them or move on ;)

VampNo12: We did want to show that though the gang is doing all they can Willow isn't just lying back taking what is happening to her... she has hope, support and love around her and though it is so hard she is trying to crawl towards that salvation... and come on Xander has almost as bad luck with women as Buffy does with men ;) poor guy... we love the W/T moments too, so glad we could share them with everyone... the spell scene was a very difficult one as tensions run very high when people think they have the 'right' answer and then someone they trust shoots them down... there is going to have to be alot of damage control after this... and yes Alienation was a very hard thought title :D very much about the allegences and the rifts that can ebb and tide between tight friends/family during times of choice and crisis... the ironic part for them all is they all want the same thing and they are all willing to do anything it takes to get it...

WebWarlock: :lol oh god the IRS, well we'll have to find a way to deal with them too... oh yes Dawn sleeps in her Kitten board t-shirt in our show ;) ... and thank you so much, rapt is something we enjoy :D Buffys reactions as well are always so intricate as she has such a widespread burden on her... hopefully we can continue to improve on Season Sux (love that by the way)

WiccansIllusion: money is always an issue isn't it? If I had a million dollars... (as the barenaked ladies sing)... I'd be rich, but still probably worrying about whether I was using it to do good things in the world :) ... (sorry hopefully longer update soon)

Willowfan75: we love you too... thanks for reading :)

Wolflord: thank you... we're working very hard to keep the interactions/characterizations as true to character with what they have gone through as possible... mmm smut eh? well we'll see... :D

oh my... that was long but worth it... :D

thanks to everyone for reading

hopefully update later today

take care... kath

Buffy walked back down the aged salt worn beams of the pier towards the concrete shore of the dock. It had seemed the most hopeful place for her to find something undead to beat with still so long before the setting of the sun.

Her only other option was going to Willie’s and tearing the place apart but she didn’t feel that focused. She just felt like a little necessary random slayer violence to quell the adrenaline in her system.

It had been such a hard shock when Tara had stood up to her that Buffy had been forced to throw all of her natural reactions into near reverse. That she’d found an ally in Madalene was about the only fact that kept her from mentally ripping apart. She wished so much though that Tara was in agreement with them, it would make all of this so much easier. But she’d been the one making the hard decisions to help Willow the last few months and maybe now that Tara was back that still wasn’t going to change.

Buffy’s senses snapped and in an instant she turned as a slight clatter as a empty box crate jumped against another in the alley down between two shipping containers.

As she made her way slowly down the alley the stench of rotting fish made her reach up to cover her nose. The sound of furious chewing made her press forward as she came clear of a tall spread of crates. She blinked hoping she was mistaking the hunched figure before her as something other than a dog but as it reached out a scaly clawed hand to spear another fish and then with an angry growl tossed the unwanted meal away she new her original assumption was right.

“Isssshh jinadd voorga.” The low rumbling growl reached Buffy’s ears just as two lime green eyes turned to look at her disdainfully.

“Sorry I don’t speak any demon.” Buffy’s body flexed into a fighting pose.

She could see that the eyes looking at her held some intelligence, but the large mouth holding a row of razor sharp teeth and four long fangs did not make her consider that intelligence to be too overwhelming.

“Vinn dard.” It growled pushing itself onto its feet fully straightening its thick legs.

“Yeah you’re a big one aren’t you?” Buffy watched as it stretched up and reached close to seven feet tall. The creature regarded Buffy for a moment as if assessing her threat value.

“Immzadu.” It pointed a claw towards Buffy.

“Yes, I will kick your ass.” Buffy bounced on the balls of her feet lightly.

Reaching over the beast picked up a nearby crate and tossed it towards the Slayer before it lumbered out of the dead end.

Buffy cursed as she punched up to block the crate and her hand imbedded through the rotting wood. As quickly as she could she shed it and headed after the creature.

It seems to me that Buffy wants what is easy, a quick fix, rather than what is best for Willow.

And why do I think she's making a mistake chasing after that demon? I mean, he could have attacked her, yet he distracted her and fled, so I think she should just leave him. But Buffy wants to fight something - regardless.

You've done a good job of showing how irresponsible she can be but without outright condemning her. After all she does have a hard task and has had a lot to deal with in her life, so we do have some sympathy for her. But not if she endangers our Willow!

Oooh, a demon. Now we need a demon translator. Where's Anya?

As for Dawn, we should go a little easy on the youngest Summers - after all, she was the one who stayed with Tara so she wouldn't have to be alone in death. God, that gets me every time.

Mollyig: you bring up some really good points... She's definately not in optimal headspace at the moment... as for endangerment or the demon... have to wait and see :)

Scout: laugh... Anya Demon Translator at large... he he he... sorry that struck me as insanely funny... and for us the portrayl of Dawn was on par with being over the top as Xander was in S6 ... all of her flaws and bad points were magnified down untill all we were left with was Dawn whining all the time with no break... we're definately trying to do a little reconstructoin with her as well to bring across who we fell more she is... I mean yeah we were all whiners when we were teenagers but we did have some redeeming points in there too

Stubborn Buffy, i feel the weight of the world may be slightly crushing our dear slayer. I'm with Molly on this, i think she's after the quick fix when in essence it should be a long drawn out process. Its good to see though that you have her valuing Mad's being on her side. Weather you hook them up or not, i'd say you probably wont because she is straight in the show not to say you wont because its your fic and anything could happen. It's just great to see Mad's being accepted and Buffy being glad to have her on board is great. More soon ladies :)

Cheers

Madalene had done a few careful slow laps of the yard before she had made her way back into the house. She was pleased to see that everything was cleared away and the lower floor was completely back to normal. The last thing that was left was being taken care of by the Watcher who was carefully packing away spell objects and books for transport.

“Madalene…” The Watcher did not look up. “Did Buffy not come back in with you?” He asked as he worked.

“She needed a cooling off period.” Madalene admitted moving over to help him. “She’ll be back later.”

“I can understand that was a little…” He paused thinking of the best way to describe it. “Unexpected for us all.” He admitted softly.

“Yes, I guess we were mistaken when we figured she’d be happy we’d found the spell.” Madalene carefully sealed up the container of blue ceremonial sand.

“I suppose we should have talked to her first.” The Watcher mused as he stood up straight confident all the things were packed and ready to be move out of the house.

“I’m not sure it would have prepared any of us for an all out refusal.” The Spellcaster couldn’t keep the bite out of her voice.

Giles looked around and at the stairs, there had been no sight of Dawn or Tara since their disappearance and Xander had slipped out into the garden to watch over Willow.

“I was thinking of leaving, letting things cool for a while. I have a few apartments to see, perhaps...” He looked briefly at the Spellcaster not finishing.

“Thank you, I think perhaps I need a little air.” Madalene smiled gently as she read the hidden offer. “That is if you don’t mind having company.”

“Not at all.” Giles shook his head as he reached out to pick some of the equipment up. “I need someone to make sense of all the agent’s babble.” He joked lightly though the humour was forced.

“If you’re really lucky I was training to be a lawyer in my former life.” Madalene winked trying to help him shore up his spirits. He turned to her with a grateful smile.

“I can’t help but feel I’ve made things worse for everyone.” He admitted quietly not sure why the young woman seemed the most likely among all of them would probably understand him best.

“Mr. Giles, you are doing your best as we all are, there is nothing negative in that.” Madalene shook her head. “And just because this avenue has been closed to us doesn’t mean that others do not exist.”

“Yes, I have been thinking about that.” Giles lowered his voice even more. “But we’d be wise to leave that discussion for later.”

“Maybe we should get this stuff out to your car.” Madalene offered knowing that in the house was truly not the proper place to have any conversation about magic, not after Tara’s ultimatum. She might not like her cousin’s choice but she would abide by her request.

“Maybe we should.” He agreed nodding slightly. “I’ve left a note.” He added nodding to the table.

“Perfect.” Madalene picked up a pile of books leaving the case for him. “We don’t want t keep your agent waiting.”

Ok so this confussed me...

She might not like her cousin’s choice but she would abide by her request.

And yet she seems happy to go behind Tara's back and use Buffy to do a spell on Willow. I think Giles had the right idea, they all need to talk.

Ew... that demon sounds, fugly. Yuck! I hope Buffy catches up with it, but... I wonder what it's doing there anyway.

I know Buffy is concerned for Willow, but I think she needs to calm down and listen to Tara. I think they should talk, Tara should tell her about her dream. It may not help, but I think she should.

I don't know, they just seem to click. I know Buffy's straight, at least on the show, but you can do anything you want with them. ;) *Hint*

And I'm hanging in there. I know there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, soon, so to speak. Oooh, I would lovely a fluffy rainbow pillow. :grin Thank you, Kath.

Looking forward to more,

Jen

Nice updates, ladies! I can understand Buffy's perspective in the sense for so long she has been the one to make the tough decisions regarding Willow, as well as seeing all the pain/suffering Willow had to endure before Tara came back into the picture. And now the gang has the "quick-fix", but as others have stated I don't think they are looking beyond the "quick-fix" (ie long-term effects the spell will cause Willow). I liked how Buffy needed to get her aggressions out on some demon, and her wish was granted (too bad she doesn't speak demon, :lol )! Although, I got a kick out of Buffy basically answering "Yes, I will kick your ass."

As for scene 8 I think in a way its kind of ironic that now with Tara saying no to the spell, Madalene seems to be less of an "outsider", while in some ways a rift is developing between Tara and the rest of the gang. Or in other words, before Buffy/Giles were wary of Mads, but now her finding the spell has bonded her more to Buffy and Giles. Can't wait for the next part!

Sorry, I replied too soon. I didn't realize you had posted another update. :blush

But, I'm with Puff on this one. Color me confused. If Mads wants to respect Tara's wishes, why was she talking to Buffy that way?? Hmmm...

The whole house needs to sit down and talk. That's what I think. :)

Thanks for the updates, ladies. Can't wait for more.
