random fact, very random:

In my first year of junior high we started English classes. The first lesson we had to translate some words and explain their meaning in English. I wrote something like

Pineapple - its a caint of fruit

remember this was the first lesson so I learned all I knew from TV and reading books and dictionaries(!) (I actually did that)

and that of a teacher gave me no points for that question because "caint is not an English word young lady" (she didn't even notice "its" should have been "it's") I seriously started to doubt myself and looked the word up in my trusted dictionary, but I just misspelled it.

And untill this day, the word "kind" gives me a little pinch of angry everytime I read it.

My random fact, I am going to buy my mum a puppy, I know it won't make up for losing Rosie and my mum does love the other dogs very much but they weren't "hers" you know? so I think that buying my mum a dog will help make something nice out of something tragic.

I completely agree. Age is just a cronological indicator, and it doesn't mean a damn in real terms unless you let it.
