In my first year of junior high we started English classes. The first lesson we had to translate some words and explain their meaning in English. I wrote something like
Pineapple - its a caint of fruit
remember this was the first lesson so I learned all I knew from TV and reading books and dictionaries(!) (I actually did that)
and that
of a teacher gave me no points for that question because "caint is not an English word young lady" (she didn't even notice "its" should have been "it's") I seriously started to doubt myself and looked the word up in my trusted dictionary, but I just misspelled it.
And untill this day, the word "kind" gives me a little pinch of angry everytime I read it.
LoLz, its caint of stoepit annieway, woo kan spel tha rait wai anniewayz deez dayz
